Roll To Dodge / Re: Roll for zombie apocalypse!

((Two things: punctuation and variety. Punctuation should be obvious, ask me if it's not. Variety may come in the form of RP sections or colored text. Like so.))
You guys can RP when ever you wish. I will add RP sections when you run into other Humans.
As for punctuation, what am I doing wrong (never was good with it)?

Anyway, you should make rolls for exploration. I mean, you give us general information of a place, then you roll for exploration, and since i have my food finder trait you make an extra roll to see if i find food, without giving me a bonus.

Ex:
You find yourself in the abandoned house. It's all dusty and old, and there is scrap all around.
(5) You find gesus under a loose wood plank! He gives you superpowers!
(1) You dont find any food, and you fall on the ground headfirst and you die.

Also, you could also make rolls for other stuff. There is a trapped zombie: Roll for us to notice it: (2) you dont notice it, but it (2) doesn't either.
k. I will keep that in mind in the future

check the lengths on all my tusks, also check the regenerated flesh for alterations.

Wander off and look for something to do.

you could be useful as a participant in my arena fighting pit I'm making. So far I only have drunk monkeys and recruits. mostly monkeys though

guess I'm going to update now.
Investigate road block.

Maybe you could roll for me finding food, eheheh
It is a military road block with some pylons blocking the road leading up to a fence and a check point. there are two military jeeps in front with mini-guns on top. In one of the turrets there is a dead body with no face and guts everywhere. There are lots of vehicles abandoned in front of the road block. A machine gun on the road block looks used and has a eaten corpse lying next to it. Signs of a great fight are apparent.
It appears that there is a gate in the center of the check point with a structure built around it. On top of the structure are two guard towers that appear to be hastily built.
One zombie with only one arm and no legs reaches out to you making an almost pitiful growl.
3+1 you find a military grade MRE. You also find a corpse.
(6-1, 6) that corpse in military gear just grabbed you and is trying to bite you ,but you manage to barely hold it off.

Help Bob with investigating the road block.
While you walk through the abandoned military check point you
(1-1, yah no) to see the zombie charging you.
4 vs 5+1 (surprise attack) it grabs you and starts clawing you. you are scratched and battered, but not dead or bit.
4 vs 3. you and push the emancipated  zombie off of you and sprint away. You hear a yelp and follow it, coming accosted the tackled Bob who is tussling with a zombie.
3 vs 1. You beat the zombie to death with your hard covered Oprah Winfrey Hard cover.

The other zombie follows you

"I feel that genocide is not the answer... but let us see how the battle goes first."
I said that  I feared it would come to that. let's try to contain them first.

5319
Well my character would avoid this too, being timid and squeamish around violence, not to mention not having any tokens to enter with, but me as a player likes this idea.
you could just give a piece of equipment over, or any high explosives to my char. You would receive change in return

Just so you know... I know it's not sportsmanlike not to do in "in the flesh", but maybe we should actually use Duel for its intended purpose? I know it sounds crazy (heretical, even! no one dare try touch Duel to duel someone!) but using VR-world would make it far easier to customize the loadout of each particular participant. And that way we could do away with permadeaths in fights (outside the tourney is fair play, if the first attempt's noble tradition is to be honored!) and maybe even allow us Hephestians participate.

We could even have multiple fight categories - and I request that at least one would be the pure "fight club" type, with every participant given a very fleshy, very vanilla human body (regardless of their current condition, equipment, modifications, etc.).

((For those who wonder what I'm talking about, 'Duel' is actually a VR program, like 'Tinker' or 'Battle for Hexbarax'. Yes, it exists. It has been introduced alongside with Tinker, slightly after the beginning of ER. And it has never, ever been used to duel another character.))
shhh....stop ruining my chances o f getting free loot and tokens!

Wait wait, why would an enormous synthflesh robot tailor made for murder and death be considered equipment, but a robobody or flesh sac not? A brain is wearing those just as much! You're all just racist against albinos D:
We could institute the Matryoshka metric, which would measure the different layers of materials surrounding a brain as a way to grade bodies and armour/defensive equipment.

So a flesh body has 1 MM because it's a brain surrounded by flesh.
A robobody has 1 MM because it's a brain surrounded by machines.
A synthflesh body has 2 MM because it's a brain surrounded by machines, surrounded by synthflesh.
An exoskeleton or MK3 gives +1 MM because it's another layer of machines.
A battlesuit or equivalent gives +2 MM because it's another layer of machines and armour.
A forcefield or a shield automanipulator or milnoplate gives +1 MM because it's another layer of armour.
An avatar has 4 MM because it's a brain surrounded by flesh surrounded by machines surrounded by synthflesh surrounded by armour.

Of course, there are exceptions that should be considered with that system, but I think it works well for most cases. And on it's own it's not very good because it doesn't account for weapons, only armour.

Wait wait, why would an enormous synthflesh robot tailor made for murder and death be considered equipment, but a robobody or flesh sac not? A brain is wearing those just as much! You're all just racist against albinos D:
sure but you would be placed in the heavy league with battle suits and robo bodies

I eat battlesuits for breakfast.
I'd like to see you try.
No, really, I do, I've been coming up with strategies to use against AoWs since I first got Gilgamesh. It'd be fun to try them out and see what works in real ER life conditions.
yah, that is how the leagues should be organized. I am building the pit IC right now.

How about doing it this way: not a tournament, but a free-for-all. Anyone can enter, but they enter without any equipment. Entry fee is a single token, and last individual standing takes all. The arena is the Panic Room, which gets sealed upon the start of the fight, with the happenings within being observed via cameras and recorded. In the middle of the room a pile of random sharp objects is placed for use in the fight.

Anyone can enter?
Anyone. But, just so you know, the Avatar of War is equipment, too.  :P

Everything on the Armory's list is equipment. Synth-flesh is equipment, amps are equipment, drugs and food are equipment. Basic robot prosthetics are not on the list, by the way, so they are not equipment and are permitted - so synthflesh people can switch out to those if they wish to participate. Custom "free" robot prosthetics' like Lyra's... well, I'd say those are equipment too (at least, other, more powerful Doc's robo-creations certainly are equipment), but maybe in fringe cases this could be worked around (see below for genemods); not that I really expect Lyra to participate, I think she's a bit avert to that sort of violence.

Though it goes a bit against the spirit of this, to forego having to cut out the amps we could merely form a gentlemanly agreement not to use any (and the one who uses is automatically disqualified and, more importantly, considered to be dishonored for they let down the rarest commodity around here - 'Corps trust). Braincases can slide out more easily, so it should not matter.

The real problem begins with genemods, but since those cannot be helped, I can see two solutions: first, if anyone is clearly overpowered compared to others (think Xan the Xan entering such tournament), they are politely refused the right of participation; second, if those genemods are not that powerful at all (like the Fibroblast therapy, or the old-style whatchamacallit-slightly-enhanced-regeneration), it is only fare to let the people fight against basic robots who already have an edge before meatlings. Or, of course, we could say "Nay" to all genemods and insist for robo-people to ride in civilian-model robotic platforms; you know, the ones that bleed, simulate pain, etc. That'd actually be pretty cool too.  ;)

Aaand I think I was really, really ninja'd. But hey, I think I made a convincing point why synthflesh is equipment, but meatflesh and roboflesh (basic) is not!
I thin kthat sounds fair. I do say that we should have different leagues,
heavy- synthflesh, robot, battle suits
normal-  normal people
recruit- recruits, drunk monkeys with knives, sods armed with drunk monkeys.

5323
go to personal room and take metal off of any lockers, desk, ect. search for scrap metal. wield metal onto mk1 suit over important areas such as the chest, lower part and top of helmet, groin, and upper legs and arms. Once that is done start spinning arm around to charge up kinetic battery. then go and attempt to get one of those high explosives and make pipe bombs (yay!)

((If you punch your Force Infuser with your Kinetic Amplifier, you'll charge it a lot faster.))
the mp is already installed in my head so you want me to face palm? wouldn't that require me to be careful and think or else I would have my head flung off

((The force infuser is a glove.))
if my char looses his hands because of this I will come back and find you in your sleep.

"There is a difference between innocuous assembly and assembly with malicious and unlawful intent.  The distinction (though clear) is important, and it will be further explored as the trial continues, during which we will prove that the accused wished for nothing more than for his actions to cause great harm to the free people of Hell.

...is what I would say if this trial were continuing.  Unfortunately, the Orks appear to be rebelling.  Depending on future circumstances, and the extent of your involvement in the battle ahead, this trial may resume later."

Pacify the Orks using demonic army.  Use as little violence as possible.  Needed points +2.

"I'm with you.  Let's try not to do too much damage, though."
"fine, though I fear these orks will be forever aggressive in their thirst for war. We could contain them, but knowing their nature, they would scavenge what they could and build space ships and weapons. this may....require their total annihilation."
