Killheart's Log:

We've begun digging out our store rooms. When we're all done unloading, I plan to cover up the holes with forification and make a different entrance somewhere else.

We lost a pickaxe on our way here, which sucked, but for now our third miner is confined to hauling.

Good news:
We're sustaining ourselves on plants. Got some beer brewed already.

Bad news:
Everyone's throwing tantrums.
We have no more puppies to slaughter.
The dwarves are starting to be majorly injured from all the trantruming.
I don't want to leave this place, I like my grave.
We're out of meat.
We're running out of buckets.

We put the metalsmith in his bed. His legs are badly smashed, and the farmer had started pummeling his upper body when the soldiers arrived.

Started construction of my grave. Aware I'll probably need it soon.

I have just realized how we will die.
Almost all of our people are thirsty as Hell. We will die of dyhidration.

Iden, our farmer, was struck with madness. He stopped slumping around the meeting room and went berserk. He badly injured our metalsmith before a squad arrived to put him down. The metalsmith may not pull through.
