You want questions?, well here's some questions

Two questions, First is it a plausible to use/call my air strike a through flare on turn 1 or the turn of embark? Even though it's a... well let say a "eccentric" move. Second could a revolver be replaced with a M190 for only thematic purposes since I have the classified "commander" rank, or at least the equipment they use. A cooler side-arm just seems more special.

Okay this is a stupid but confirmation type of question, would the STG44/ MP44 be considered a "Submachine Gun", even though it's classified as an assault rifle. I mean this question would probably only be relevant if we scavenge loot off a dead German soldier after Normandy, so it's truly a pointless question.

Everyone wants a improved pistol, well let's get a revision for the pistol.

Printed Pistol Mk 1.1: The pistols general latency problems with accuracy, stability, and general handling will be revised with this new blueprint update. Have the new blueprint of the pistol have a extended barrel for improved range and stopping power, make the magazines/clips more banana-like to be more comfortable for usage, and make the cyclic pistol trigger and rechambering system be less prone to jams and malfunctions.

I think improved printers is a long-term goal that will be better and have more confounded bonuses the earlier we get it, also the votes need a little competition imo.

(I don't know how creative our ideas can be in a FTL setting with the factor that we may have developed interplanetary transportation, but we like basic military technologies like rifles, military coordination, basic vehicles, etc.)
Let's start with something innovative so let's try to develop; DE Pistol, where DE stands for Directed Energy

The research into Directed Energy for combative forms will start like this, by utilizing high-capacity batteries that will be modulated into a clip for the pistol. It will give us enough energy capacity to exert out directed bolts of energy that would be "laser-like" and be able to penetrate basic Kevlar armour. The energy could easily be exerted from a pistol trigger by the process and circulation of the energy from the pistol's barrel to shoot out lasers. The pistol will be designed to be semi-automatic.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: Planetary Arms Race - Core
« on: May 13, 2017, 11:10:02 pm »
I was thinking of making my first ever forum games about a Sci-Fi Arms race about some kind of Humans in Earth vs. Human Martian Colonists, but it would end up me being the GM and that would resort to posts with weak grammar and content, as well as induced anxiety for me. Time was never the problem, I have too much free time on my hands. Oh yeah, as you have also concluded their does seem to be a influx of Arms Race Games which also came to my decision to not create it.

Anyways I guess I choose the Moerth Thread, hope this game doesn't die out too soon. :-(

(I mean if you actually care for historical context for soldier gender representation for WW2, than it was essentially around 99 to 1 for males. Pretty much most female soldiers during this war was either French Resistance Fighters or Russian Snipers/Militia.)

The Boiler Room
Cheap : Infantry Troops+ Improvised Leather Armor, Kamikaze Wyrmlings, Slime Knights
Expensive : Dragalos, Military Officers, Flying Slimes
Very Expensive : Slime Wizards
National effort : N/A

Reasoning: Mobilize the Ice Wyrm to a more contested region. Swarms of infantry with improvised leather armor and military officers provide bulk of the forces. Slime Wizards and Kamikaze Wyrmlings provide ranged support, with the Kamikaze dragons also providing infantry clearing powers through icicle explosions. Slime Knights also bring mobility and flanking.

The Expanse
Cheap : Infantry Troops+Improvised Leather Armor, Kamikaze Wyrmlings, Brick Slimes, Slime Knights
Expensive : Dragalos, Miltary Officers, Elephant Slimes, Flying Slimes
Very Expensive : Slime Wizards
National effort : Ice Wyrm

Reasoning : The Demon Lord is a very fierce enemy, I expect them to add new demons to their arsenal. I really think we're going to need our Ice Wyrm their so we don't get overrun. Also Brick Slimes and Elephant Slimes will provide tanking for the bulk of the forces. The area is also pretty open for the Slime Knights and Flying Slimes

The Mushroom caverns
Cheap : Infantry Troops+Improvised Leather Armor, Kamikaze Wyrmlings, Brick Slimes.
Expensive : Dragalos, Military Officers, Elephant Slimes, Flying Slimes
Very Expensive : Wizard Slimes
National effort : N/A

Reason: Dragalos can still provide support here, its really a fight of numbers here. Elephant Slimes and Brick Slimes provides cover for the bulk of the infantry. Range support through skirmishes here is also needed through our slime wizards and kamikaze wyrmlings. I expect no progress made here, maybe even losing ground.

Frozen tunnels.
Cheap : Infantry Troops+Improvised Leather Armor, Kamikaze Wyrmlings.
Expensive : Military Officers, Elephant Slimes, Flying Slimes
Very Expensive : Wizard Slimes
National effort : N/A

Reasoning: Ice Wyrmlings are at home in this area. Elephant Slimes are our greatest asset here and they should be more focused in this combat zone. Also Flying Slimes are needed counteract those mechanical spiders.

Orders:
-Mobilize the Ice Wyrm Mother where the Demon Lord is, we need more contention against the scary demons their.
-Have brick slimes support Elephant Slimes against their flame bolts from their crossbows, the brick slimes can still give a minor defensive boon for the infantry as well.
Is this what your looking for in strategy phase?.
