Idunna had woken the same way she always did. Probably before everyone else. A quick run, a quicker shower, and some time spent applying woad -- Bernie would've discovered the intricate patterns flowing across her roomie's skin was not a tattoo but carefully applied body paint -- and then breakfast. As had apparently become a habit, she cooked enough of it to feed more than just her and left what she didn't eat on the stove on low enough heat not to burn but stay hot. Omelettes and sausages this time.

The girl herself was balled up in a eggshell white hoodie dress - too large and very very comfortable looking - on the couch in front of the tv, watching both the screen and her phone as she tried to zero in on some vague goal for the exploring she had in mind for the day.

Stocking up was the name of the game during the first week, apparently. While Dom was shopping privately and Scarlet simply planned on getting groceries Idunna had apparently gone out and stocked the fridge while the others were out that first afternoon. Morning on the first day of school greeted everyone in the dorm with oatmeal and bacon already finished on the stove (someone was an early riser) and a post it note on the suddenly stocked common room fridge.

Everything inside belongs to everybody. Except whatever is in the blue plastic box. That's mine. -Beu -Dunna

"Dunna" had put some thought into it too. Buying mostly catch-all groceries. Food easily made in large batches or packaged by serving. Anything that someone might be allergic (nuts, eggs and the like) in closed containers) lactose-free milk. Pulp-free juice. It was mostly raw ingredients or half-readymade food and sandwich fixings. But not exclusively. There was a stash of candybars and drinks for anyone that needed sugar or taurine to study.

She spent the rest of the week generally exploring campus and the town surrounding it whenever she had time - as well as bombarding other students in questions about their supernatural traits, more than a little starry eyed, until they showed signs of not wanting to answer at which point she quickly retreated - and generally being quite friendly. That is when she wasn't studying on her own after hours. She turned out to be quite diligent, really. Though it wasn't uncommon to find her doodling complicated patterns or startlingly realistic portraits in her notebooks when she couldn't concentrate on a particularly dense or dry text.

The only ones she seemed reserved with would be the vampires. But then, you couldn't expect someone that clearly had very little experience with other supernaturals to be immediately comfortable around people that eat people could you?

That just widened Idunna's childish smile. "So I shouldn't be making magical friendship bracelets?"

169
Alex got a dazzling bright, if small, smile. "Idunna. I'm Bernie's roomie." She added the last part almost defensively. As if she was used to having to dispel assumptions. The moniker of 'Hate Fowl' made her giggle. But she otherwise stayed out of the conversation.

170
Idunna must've missed a something in Alex's tone. Because when he asked said they had three guesses except it was actually one, she took a guess after looking him up and down. "Magic assisted medicine?" A suit and staff doesn't necessarily scream 'law'. She tactfully chose not to comment on the idea of a vampire working in mudane-magic relations.

171
Idunna's feet slowed until the stopped and just kind of hung limply. All the while the water-cleanser next to her was humming away. "I applied to a predetermined course so I've already got a schedule locked down since a good while back. You guys doing like... free picks?"

172
Scarlet wasn't the only one that questioned the choice. "With this group?" She blinked, looking from one person to the other. "Will that even... work? Are they more chill here?"

173
Idunna had turned on the spot and jumped backwards to sit on the kitchen counter, her hands holding onto the edge on either side of her. She was watching the group kind of... mingled. Staying out of it until suddenly: "Where are you guys going? Know any good places around here already or is this another feat of the almighty google?" Aimed at someone who wasn't in the middle of a conversation. So... Not Bernie or either of the vampires.

174
The girl blinked and pulled the towel from her head in a flash of gold as the light of the lamps hit her hair. "It's just a bit of water. Lovely to meet you, Dom. I'm Idunna." She trilled and then resumed what she was doing, slipping past the gathering to the sink where she began to fill the mechanical pitcher. As soon as it was full she plugged it in set it down on the workspace usually reserved for preparing meals, where it let out a dull almost inaudible steaming noise.

175
Idunna finally emerged from the dorm room. Showered and dressed. At least, she was wearing a towel over her head and wore different clothes than before. A white t-shirt reaching down to about mid-thigh this time. She headed down the hall carrying some some kind of mechanical pitcher in her right hand, her left still rubbing her hair with the towel. She stopped moving at all though when she noticed the crowd in the common room. What little was visible of her face looked rather sheepish as she blinked, non plussed, at the gathering. Standing there bare-footed and still damp. "Uh... Did miss the meet and greet?"

Idunna just smiled brighter at Berenice. But then she looked a little confused. "I was a mystery?" she blinked. "Well I just blew that, didn't I?" she went from a smile to a smirk. "That's me. Not living up to my reputation." she began to dig through her pile of boxes. "Lovely to meet you, Berenice. Normally I'd love to chat with someone gorgeous and creative but right now..." she emerged from the search with a dull blue and extremely fluffy towel wrapped around some unidentified bottles and a bundle of clothes. "I need to shower before I stink up the whole room." And just like that she slipped into the bathroom.

The girl slowly rolled over onto her side and sat up. "I'm good. Just..." She let out a exceptionally girly giggle and swept sweat and water from her face. When she looked up, half her face was hidden behind a curtain of golden hair. One green-blue eye fixed Berenice with a look of good humor, full of laughter. "I swear half of this --" She gestured to the wet sheen of her skin. "Is sweat and the other half is the ocean contained in the atmosphere in this state." She smiled and let out another short laugh, the butt of her own joke. "Sorry. Didn't spot you when I zombie'd in. I'm Idunna." she slipped onto her feet and leaned across the open space to hold out a hand. "Guess we're roomies?" her one visible eye slipped across Bernie's side of the room.

Did someone leave their little sister to sweat to death in the hallway? Because it looks like someone left their little sister to sweat to death in the hallway. A girl, by the looks of her, no older than 16 (probably younger) was slowly moseying down the hall while sucking the last water from a plastic squeeze bottle like a runner after a marathon. Kind of looked the part, too, in a deeply cut tank top and hot pink short-shorts and sneakers that were slowly coming untied. What probably drew more attention though was the waterfall of literally golden hair flowing down to her upper back and the shockingly blue (and complicated) pattern of what appeared some kind of tattoo climbing her left arm and flashing wherever the deep cuts around arms and collar in the tank top showed skin. She let out a deep - almost whimpering - sigh as she pushed the door labeled 'Berenice & Idunna' and stepped inside. Only to fall on her face into the unoccupied bed and making some surely earth shaking revelation to the blanket and mattress that no one else could hear.
