((if no one's coming with val to grab food, I'll just go ahead and skip to her visiting Yuri afterwards?))

tilted her head and wrote:

"Do you even serve food here?" looking over to the owner. "Besides. Going somewhere we haven't been attacked by giant monsters might be good to begin with."

((Well just have him go separate. No problem. If the others still wanna do a dinner thing for character bonding, that's fine.))

Yeah. It's why it's called a persona. Since a persona is a percieved identity and personality.

In the first game they had several, everyone was a wild card, since you often act and appear diffrent around diffrent people and situations.

Val actually took a moment. But when she turned the pad around she'd taken a short cut. A intro she'd used for one of her videos, using the microphone to amplify her light girlish voice and make it actually audible.

The figure-- Well. The Val on the screen-- Tilted their head sideways while smiling heart-shatteringly at the camera "Hello! I'm Sassy."

She turned the pad back to herself and typed something new out. Back to text to speech. "So who's coming with?" Though she'd wait with the question untill everyone had re-introduced themselves.

I saw a bit on the Megami Tensei wiki that said Personas were Shadows held in check and controlled by the ego.

I'm guessing it changes from game to game. Daniel isn't exactly a Buddhist monk on the outside, after all. Nor on the inside, but there at least he's a little closer.

Only partially true. A shadow is the side of yourself you're ashamed of or don't want to face. A persona is your shadow mastered and change to represent your best sides. The face you wear on the outside.

P4 made this almost painfully obvious. Pretty sure they straight out said it.

Nodded and then kept typing on the pad.

"I'm pretty sure wwe could use some time to think about it. At least, I could." She smiled softly. She was always happy to help. But they were asking for something rather dangerous and bizarre.

"For now?" She went on, typing along as an addition. "I could go for some grub. Anyone want to tag along?"

...no?
Personas are manifestations of your psyche, if Robin, as Robin's reincarnation, has Grima as his, then that implies... things.
Like that he's a masochist.

Actually, technically the games say that a persona is "The mask you wear to face hardships and interract with the world around you."
So it's more a manifestation of the person you appear to be to others and the side of you present to those around you. Rather than any deep-seated issues or secrets. That's your shadow.

Sass looked to the newly woken up, and understandably frazzled, Daniel. And to the rest of everyone, before she began typing again.

"Unless there was anything else we need to go over, maybe we should all meet up here later. Say, tomorrow. Most of us are a bit winded. Cactus-chan is out cold. And she's not the only one feeling bloodied."

With that, she folded the computer pack into it's pad-like shape and lifted her bag from her steat.

Val looked kinda thoughtful, looking Mutou over.

"Dunno. You seem like you might run away with it, cackling maniacally. Just sayin'." She might be joking. Hard to tell with text to speech.

((Last I checked, 21 is when you're no longer considered under aged in japan. At least when you get to drive and drink at that point. Might've been 20. Could check with my friends.))

"I bought it. And yeah. But I don't want to. Yours work fine in rifts anyway."

((No, you are right. But Japan has strict, strict gun laws that require more then you being an adult (Or less, in some cases). Technically you can be 18 when buying some, or as young as 14 if you are a good sports shooter with special permission. You need ten years of experience with guns to get some other guns, meaning you would have to at least be 28 to get some weapons. For handguns, the age is technically only 18, but again in a nation with millions, they probably have less handguns then my small town in America. Motou knows all of this, of course  :P. No idea why it is 18 instead of 20.))

"It isn't the same! We aren't going to keep using model weapons forever, and I wanna real gun! Can I at least hold yours for a little? It doesn't even have to have ammunition in it!"

((Oh, yeah. She's just being evasive since he claimed she was under age. Even though she is 18, so technically eligeble.))

Val jsust kind of tilted her head at him. Type type:

"It's a gun. it shoots bullets. What's the diffrence?" after all, he'd clearly shot Gluttony just like she had.

Unlimited Rain Works?

No. Don't beat the joke untill it's a dead horse.

283
Yes.

Rain, I say!

Just for the record, here is a PDF copy of Japan's main gun laws. I am sure everyone is bored of the characters debating weather it is possible, and I didn't want to accuse Mistwing OOC of not knowing it. Motou was asking questions because Motou's character spouts firearms facts and nothing more  :P. If he was correct IC or not doesn't matter  :P.

Didn't see it so much as them debating weather it possible-- it obviously is or she wouldn't have one (if it's legal is a diffrent matter though)-- so much as Val answering questions.

Albeit somewhat uncomfortably.
