Took a bit. But soon enough she turned the laptop around with the right text displayed. Basically, the gist of it was that under Japanese firearm law, a citizen was allowed forbidden from owning a handgun or hunting gun as well as military rifles, machine guns, gunpowder charged firearms, certain air guns and specific imitation firearms without specific circumstantial approval.

With the added comment:
"Assuming you even care about the law."

"I know. I also know that those 'special circumstances' don't apply to you. You would have to be a police officer, in the Self Defense Force, Imperial Guard, or an expert sports shooter. Owning one for self defense, no matter how justified, is explicitly forbidden and there are under two hundred legal handguns in all of Japan. And I would bet my bottom dollar that isn't one of them. Even if you where all of the above, you are still not a Japanese Citizen, as far as I know. And are under age."
((Not something you can necissarily know without knowing how much I did look up. Don't write off others' knowledge simply on the premise that it's not yours.))
Sass turned the laptop back around while he talked. Didn't take her a lot of typing to answer:
"Actually. I'm a citizen. And as long as I finish the obligatory education I get to stay one. And no, I am not 21."

Sass, meanwhile. Stood back up and sat herself down, leaning against the wall with a exhale. She hadn't actually done much but fire a gun and summon. She she was holding togather a little better than others. Still, though. It wasn't a pleasant experience. For now, she didn't bother writing or 'speaking'.

Naw. I'm saying the reason I got pissy when you accused me of having bad RP manners was that your post completely overshadowed and didn't even mention the fact that Val allready caught her.
In fact, I didn't even realize you'd read that since it seemed a tad wierd to just walk up to someone who's allready caught someone and lift them out of their grip just because. And because your post sounded as if he just caught and lifted her.
