What value does a college degree grant to a worker if everyone that didn't drop out has one? How will the job system work when people can't discriminate based on education, when everyone is a viable contender for the same position?
Because the point of a university education is specialisation. Guess what, if you're running a garage then a mechanical engineering graduate is going to be more useful to you than an English literature one.

How many worthwhile fields are there for the entire population of America to be employed? You'll still have the guy with his minimum wage job no matter what. It's a horrible cycle for the poor, but it's proven fruitful for the rich colleges, and so we've been forced to get used to it and mold our country around it. Maybe I'm too used to the present process.

, or is it weird that students are charged for college?
This one. Charging for education is stupid, the only possible result of that is lowering the total level of education among people, and there are no positive effects from that. It's shooting yourself in the foot in the long run.

The more I read about laws, the more I feel like I want to get into politics to try and stop the more retarded things from happening.

This is making me despair. I hate politics, but it's fucked up enough to make me want to get a career in it to try and unfuck it.

A good compromise leaves everyone mad.
Not sure things like ACTA are a good compromise so much as 'fuck yours, got mine'

The generalization of politics as 100% nutcase bureaucrats aiming for personal gain through shady tactics and public approval is a disgusting remark. It's only 90%.

ACTA sounds like a line of pure idiocy to us, but for the average content producer it seems solid for protecting intellectual property. It's handled oddly, but it's easy to see the target demographic (can you even call it a demographic? I'm neither a politician nor a statistician).

A shoddy attempt at a compromise also leaves everyone mad.

No compromise whatsoever still somehow leaves everyone mad.

Such is life in modern western politics.

You're right, that wasn't a good quote to insert.

WTF is a Luggage Lad?
Luggage lad is Mootles. Mootles hitched up with a SJW who got him to flood all the boards of 4chan with SJW mods doing it for free; everyone started calling Moot a cuck then found out he really was a cuck and a beta orbiter who was putting himself at the foot of a SJW cheating on him. One of the priceless bits is a facebook post where she's all about how helpful moot is carrying all the luggage for her right after she's just cucked him :^)
That and Benny also drew some cartoons of Luggage Lad, which sealed the deal and immortalized it.

Oh my goodness, that lingo. It hurts to read.

To be fair, they likely wont wage war on you just because of one dead merchant.  I've been murdering countless caravans to try and provoke the humans; still no luck  :(

+1, I'm pretty sure bridge attacks are just registered as accidents.

* Arx clears throat.

IF I WANTED TO TAKE A DESIGN COURSE I WOULD HAVE SIGNED UP FOR AN DESIGN COURSE YOU .

Things I do not expect to need a working knowledge of in biology: fluid dynamics, architecture, construction budgeting, effluent treatment.

I'm not angry about this at all.

How artistic.

The only way your BMI could not be 'ideal' in that scenario is if you were an eldritch abomination that messes with basic mathematics.

I like to think that they just hit the cleavage point.

Is diamond naturally tetrahedral? Or am I confusing that with another gem?

Had a dream in which a bunch of special ed students broke out of containment and unleashed this disease that caused humans to turn into cannibalistic unintelligent animals. Basically zombies except not dead. It brought on the zombie apocalypse. I was a stereotypical zombie apocalypse survivor living with other survivors in a crudely defended base in the middle of zombie territory. Hijinks ensue.

Yes, the plague was first spread by special ed students. Retards literally caused the zombie apocalypse. I remember commenting on it in dream for how absolutely ridiculous it is. My dreams are weird, man.
