I wasn't expecting to get 20FPS when I loaded the save, but I did! I've never played in a succession fort before, but I'd be happy to be added for a turn.

Edit: This fortress is insane. Heaps of rotting goblin corpses, dead werecreatures lying in the road with dwarves tripping over them on their way to make pots, arcane devices submerged in the ocean churning away for some unknown purpose...

I'm trying out an experiment: set the population cap to 7 and build an aboveground fort. The only stuff below ground is my storerooms. Petitions for residency ignore the population cap, so effectively I have a multicultural fort that is slowly growing as random drifters join the community. Fits the theme well since I'm in the middle of a desert several thousand miles from the mountainhomes.

Loving the tournament so far, it's awesome! Could I request that the initial equipment and skill "loadout" for each gladiator is quoted before each match? I think it'd give a better idea of the contestants.
