(( awaiting life story from periw.))

6422
If It's alright, I wanted to get to know you better. you know, where did you come from, what your life is like..

6423
He would nod in acknowledgement.
It is, yes. I did place it so I would know when you emerged. I have plenty of questions to ask you.

6424
ENG stumbles back upon bumping into her.
Sorry Periw! I didn't mean to do that!
If she fell over, ENG would offer to help her up.

6425
Noting the alarm, he would turn and leave to intercept periw before she moved too far to find easily. He really wanted to ask her those questions. On the way, he would retrieve and de-activate the motion detector.

6426
He would look at Ian like he was slightly crazy, but nod.
Whatever you say, sir.
With little more than a quick thought, The nanites would deactivate, leaving a brief tingling sensation around his scar.

6427
He would nod to Ian, and grin.
You're clean Ian. No traces of phazon in you, and the nanites will hopefully get rid of that scar most of the way.

ENG would nod, and apply one of his healing kits to Ian. He would then use his Nanocomm headset to connect to the nanites and get a basic sensory reading of his innards, displayed as a overlay on Ian's body. Any Phazon particles would show up as a patch of red on his body.

6430
Like I said Dackly, even if you were to extract the nanites from their container, the results would be harmless gray sand. The nanites themselves might not be durable, but the containers can stand up to a load of punishment. they were built to last the rigors of constant combat.

Ian raises an eyebrow.
"Again?"
Ian purrs at being pet.
Yeah. they're first taken from my armor, which generates a nanoshield. They're then programmed and stored by my ACE tool, and finally used in whatever device I create with it. The healing kits I use do this more directly, reprogramming them into a inactive state like the ACE tool, then Immediately afterwards into healing nanites.
The only time I would be concerned is if someone damaged my ACE tool, which is rather difficult as they are meant to withstand being dropped from the stratosphere of auraxis and being hit with superheated irradiated plasma that even a nuclear warhead cannot generate. and even if it managed to be cracked open, all it would yield is harmless metallic dust, as it requires the ACE tool to activate them again. It's all rather technical, but the chances of the nanites going "Grey goo" are zero.

6432
One, they're pre programed to de-activate after roughly a minute. two, they're programmed to remove forign contaminants and repair organics. Three, i'll be in direct control of their motion via my new nanocomm headset, meaning that they're responding to my commands. Four, they alredy have a set program that dictates that they can't be reprogrammed into "grey goo" a second time.

6433
ENG walks in, and looks at the group, still wearing the goggles from his nanocomm helmet.
would you prefer a human controlling a dose of healing nanites then? I could do that for you.

6434
He would put on his new Nanocomm headset, rig up the motion detector in the hallway, and program it to send an alert to his headset if something moved before heading off to look for dackly.

6435
profile updated, AGAIN, with the new piece of gear. Sanure or elf, if you could decide a good chance for it to break during combat and inform me via PM, I will add that onto it's listing.
