Added by Jane:State anime:Madoka magica.

If we are going to do a state anime, we do Cory In The Horse

Regarding this, I'm going to have to go with my girl Fluttershy on this one.

#2: The International Society of Renowned Explorers

Travellers, first and foremost. The Renowned Explorers are a nomadic collective of men and women who live in large vehicles, seeing the sights, trading, learning and sharing knowledge. When they pack up and head for new swaths of open countryside, you'll know it, as their trademark rollerhomes and miles-long convoy will likely be keeping traffic in your lane crawling at a suicide-inducing speed.

Their vehicles are an impressive product of sophisticated engineering and long-lost, old-school knowledge handed down through generations. They wear rugged safari and traveller gear (hunting hats and canvas shorts, etc), always seen with a large bag on their backs. For a group that stresses travelling light, they have more than enough supplies -- including an armoury, just in case -- to see them through.

Renowned Explorers are also very fraternal, and treat other members as if they were blood. They tend to be neutral, only getting involved in conflicts that directly involve them. But, they are loyal to their friends. A friend in the Renowned Explorers is a friend to be sure.

Why didn't winter come last year? We should have felt weather dropping to the point of water freezing. So did all the mystics gather around the oasis to watch it freeze?

I'm assuming we can at least create fire?
Let's not. K? ^^

YEAR 02

With the Surveyors on their journey back to the Northern Forest, with the mission of entering its vastness and going as deep as possible, you figure that improving the settlement in the meantime is a wise course of action. You use what little palm trees you can find to build a palisade around the perimeter, which is successfully constructed. It's flimsy and delicate, but it's a start in the right direction, and it puts the people at ease ... for now. The spare wood that doesn't go to the palisade instead goes to making simple tools. Nothing worth discussing in the Meeting Circle, but it's a step in the right direction.

The winter comes and freezes the oasis. Your people were unable to get water from it, being unable to consume ice and not having anything to convert ice into its liquid form. This causes dehydration and eventual death. A little more than half your tribe remains, with morale dropping to a horrible low. Needing something to lift the tribe's spirits, you pray that the Surveyors return with good news. Or distracting news.

The group you charged with scouting out caves and looking for anything useful returns with nothing to say in the way of spirits or spiritual energy, but a decent amount to say in regards to writing and past civilizations. A cave with a supply of sandstone contains drawings and scribe which, at this moment, cannot be deciphered due to a lack of systemic education and, dare say, intelligence in your tribe. But they are sure mysteries and other gifts lie in their comprehension. This is, potentially, one of the greatest finds yet.

Turning to the Surveyors who have trekked for the Northern Forest, they return in summer, with even more news. They share this news in the Meeting Circle after the annual speech is given.

Makashin, Surveyor Pioneer: "O', Wise One. I stand before the people an apprentice no longer, and have earned the title 'Pioneer'. In our trek to the Northern Forest I was tasked with leading the group. Under my sharp watch, we have found that the forest is a spirit wild! Yes, spirits abound deep in the thicket. The very heart of the forest sings with spirits, with energy deposits found in the area as well. Alas . . ." Now, his tone develops a rather dark edge. "We have also found signs of struggle. No proof, but evidence in the form of footprints and blood, with two feathers. Both ivory in manner (colour). The forest is our reward, this is certain. But our people might be in danger if the next trek is not carried out with applied wisdom."

+ Found ancient cave with writing.
+ Found spirit wells in Northern Forest.
+ Found sapient spirits in Northern Forest.

- Lost half of tribe to lack of water.
- Morale lowered.

Don't Kill the Human Resistor, he might have some kind of Zombie Plague, let's leave him alive to spread Chaos!

Us: Rampage and knock down a large building, and Corrupt any Mortals we see!
Our Minions: Rampage and kill Humans!

+Chaos

Good point. Decade and DiEnd were kind of rivals that were jocking each other at first. Especially DiEnd who basically gave no 'F's about the city until shit got real.

OOO is another good choice.

Funny thing is, I don't even know what we are yet. What is a Bloodthirster?
I see you are loyalist scum. You worship the Emperor of Mankind, don't you? Bah! Be gone! Your false god is nothing compared to Chaos!

Not familiar with Dawn of War? A Bloodthirster is some kind of Chaos demon that posses a Chaos Lord or Aspiring Champion. I think I'll stop talking now. :/

> Leave and find a place to convert into your/our lair. Or fortress. We must plan and train. FOR CHAOS!

YEAR 01

First thing's first: make the settlement a proper one. You instruct your kin to make camp around the oasis. Not a bad call, as nothing can really sneak up on you, forcing any hostile lifeforms to meet you face to face, giving you the defensive edge. Hopefully it won't come to that, and it's not as though you are expecting any trouble. But you've learned to expect the unexpected when it comes to running a tribe. After all, no one saw the Great Threat coming, not even the seers! With the camp settled, you move on to more logistical affairs.

You make note of your supplies. You feed on spiritual energy and water. You've found no spirit sources, but the oasis has more than enough for your tribe of about 100. Especially given that you don't go through water like, well, water. You reckon it won't come to a matter of exhaustion of the oasis, but your advisers and elders will make note of the water supply and alert you should it become dangerously scarce. With your people secure and 'fed', you can find something else to manage.

Your scouts converge in the Meeting Circle, the largest yurt in the settlement, coming to you with a desire to survey the world beyond. You, of course, give the OK, as expansion can't hurt in what seems like a nigh-empty world. They tell you that there isn't much variety of plant life worth noting, and even less animal life. Only the random palm tree and desert grass. Whilst journeying, one scout group finds a cactus plant (or this world's equivalent). They avoid it, due to its aggressive spikes telegraphing a desire to be left alone. Still, such an odd-looking plant in this desert gives the scouts the idea to properly study it some time in the near future.

It is the second scout team that has the most interesting discoveries to report. They've trekked the farthest from the settlement, and have found the desert's edge, where a lush forest that expands for miles with trees as tall as titans sits and stretches beyond the edge. Now, they haven't entered it, as they had to carry their own gear and dealt with several encumbrances. But, nonetheless, their report is one worth mulling on.

Makashin, Journeyman Apprentice of the Surveyors: "Wise One, we have found a dense and beautiful forest a day's journey north. We have travelled by sun and by star, touching the desert's edge. Alas, we have yet to penetrate this forest, but it is far to lush and green for it to be unworthy of survey. Who knows what great rewards await us beyond the leaves and wood?"

+ 'Surveyors' created! Experienced pioneers who live for exploration.
+ Found Northern Forest.

((I know you're curious as to what the camp looks like. Right now, picture a bunch of yurts, all varying in size and design, dotted around a lake, with the occasional palm tree here and there.))

Phew! That took a bit. Here you go!

Spoiler:  The New Rider! (click to show/hide)
Banana Arms: Knight of Spear! I was expecting you to go for Decade or DiEnd for obvious reasons.

So, we have one Imp and one Aspiring Champion.

Chaos confirmed! We are a Chaos Lord, clearly. Any Bloodthirsters on deck?
