Sorry for the radio silence! For, uh, a few months.

Working on the turn right now, but between the holidays and ADHD, I forgot to mention anything. Expect something soon! :)

2
Alright, Failbird hasn't been on in a month or so, so I'm going to give them a day or two to see my DM.

Next turn soon.

"Thank Arceus," the Ninetales thinks, managing to have avoided every blow despite her fatigue. Taking a deep breath in, she decides to kill two Flying-types with one stone. Quickly, before the Snitchbug gets away fully, a Rock Throw + Pursuit towards either the General or his mount!

Super fun first turn! :)

Hmm, very nice start! Providence, 1928. Goblins, colors from out in space, a dumbass about to die. I like, I like.

"*fox chirp*" says the Alolan Ninetales, thrust into a new world at a new time. If the following battle is to be against people instead of Pokemon, so be it.
Alolan Ninetales, use Aurora Beam on Dr. Mercer and the five-meter tall Transformer! Then, attempt to leap to the other side of the Green River to take some cover.

Fimbulveltr
Deathmatch
Part VI: Deterrence and Deliverance
Somewhere in Iceland
Afternoon, Blizzard, 650 BCE

Despite his own ghastly blow, blocking all sight away from the right side of his face, Kai smirks proudly as Under World fades from his own view. "Hah...that should keep you from jumping around like a little cat," he gloats, "Fight's a bit harder when you can't just lob blades from the darkness, eh?" He looks to his brother, clutching a paddle like a true warrior wields a sword, and nods at him. "Keep him between us. Gehen Sie zur Wunde." Kevin nods back, and twirls the paddle slightly as he keeps his muscles loose. They aren't going for it right away, preparing a situational defense for Jon himself to fall into.

Jon, hearing Kai's grunted smack talk, takes a labored breath in and wraps a hand around the shaft of the arrow currently in his chest. Knowing, instinctively, that the arrow is currently plugging the wound and preventing a deluge of crimson essence from marking the snow like paint, he then simply unhands it. "Big...talk...f-for a guy hiding behind...your comrade, instead o-of facing me like a true warrior," he gasps back, watching as his breath casts a cloud into the dreary air. With one last backup plan before he rushes into the roaring blizzard, he suddenly lets out a harsh feline cry into the air. [Meow!: 1] Only to cut himself off halfway through to cough up a slight bit of blood. "...Nevermind!" he huffs back, before procuring one of his throwing knives and throwing it directly at Kai. [8 v 6] An invisible force punches it away from any of Kai's vitals, but not before it already cut his cheek just slightly. Jon then pulls out his stun gun and keeps his wrist blade unlatched before charging right towards the stones, and thus towards Kevin and Kai themselves. [Gymnastics and Acrobatics: 2+2] [10+2 (Warrior Stone) vs 10] Kevin charges forward, as well, and watches as Jon suddenly leaps over his shoulders, jumping right over him! Undeterred, Kevin swings back at Jon, clubbing him right across the back of the head with the paddle, seemingly knocking Jon onto his back. As he moves in to finish the job, Jon suddenly kips up and sparks his stun-gun. [1 v 1+2 (Warrior Stone)] Unfortunately, the blow from the impact was not fake, throwing off his impact as Kevin leans away from the melee taser. Kai's own preparation activates, as a spark of, well, sparks lights up in his hand. [6 v 9] Shooting a blast of lighting from his hands, Kai arcs them towards Jon, only for the ambassador to quickstep backwards just in time to avoid a blast of lightning. Still, this keep-away game seems to mostly be going well.

With a heaving, choked breath, Johnny Cash succumbs to the exhaustion of the encounter and topples over onto his back. His face is hot and blistering across it's left side, but he won. The motion, however, jostles the horrible blade lodged into his chest, and returns the knowledge that he is soon to succumb, also, to exsanguination to the forefront of his mind. Leaning back up onto his now cold rear, Cash retrieves his still-sheathed new blades and slides it deftly out of the scabbard. Steel, folded however many times. He goes towards Vavil's sleeves, and begins to cut away at them. As he does, he looks around the area for other Wiki-Warriors, but this damned blizzard is making it harder. [Perception: 7-2 (Blizzard)] The snow doesn't help at all, but the golden glint of that norse warrior woman shines through the white Christmas around him. Darting up onto his feet, he takes his new bandages and runs behind a nearby tree, and collapses to his knees as he sheathes the katana blade. [Medical: 9] Working quickly, he tears the Bleeder Dart out of his chest, and lifts his garments before wrapping the torn sleeves around the wound. Without anesthetic or disinfectants, this will have to do. At least he's not going to bleed out.

With her current battle finished, The Valkyrie breathes out a sigh of satisfaction, before her eyes invariably return to Jasper. He's very obviously dead, but no matter how quickly his life actually passed by, it still feels surreal for her steed to not be around. She walks towards his body, and kneels beside it as she places her hand upon his hide. "You were a good steed, Jasper. May we ride together someday..," she speaks softly, before her eyes open again and she stands upon her feet. The Wiki-War is still afoot. She sniffs in, and manages to find the scent of blood to the East. Walking towards it, she finds the destitute corpse of that elf from before, as well as a trail leading into the woodland. She cracks her neck, left and right, and begins marching towards the location of Johnny Cash, who has just now finished dressing his wound.

Surprisingly, in the first of many random events to come, a wolf's howl comes over the air around Jon and the Müller brothers. From within the snow, Kai can just barely see a trio of wolves across the river just nearby, watching them. Waiting for a chance to close in.

BSN: Nothing much to say, really! ADHD, updated on impulse, the works. Enjoy!

Holy shit, a new Wiki-Warfare! And right when I was finally going to update one of mine, too!

How lucky the timing is. IN, if you don't mind, :)

7
Didn't know you could combine two of the same critter, also kind of wild that you found the exact same kind of critter in a randomly generated world right off the bat.

Can you fuses things to a fusion or is that not allowed?

I know, right? That's crazy odds.

And no. Player fusions cannot receive a third piece to them.

8

"Golurk. I chose a Golurk. A strong Ground and Ghost-type about to assault anything that tries to hurt me. I named them Glug. I think I was confused to say anything better when this titan first appeared before me.

"Naturally, Gary grabbed the Galvantula and Vileplume and fused them before my very eyes. His cocky grin wavered as he saw his creation, but his quivering lip returned to a smirk as he turned and challenged me to a battle.

"I'm not running."

"The resulting fusion was a Viletula, a poisonous spider that skittered across the ground in zig-zags. Golurk, all on their lonesome, stood tall. Despite the dopiness of their name, I knew immediately that Glug was no idiot. They watched the fusion carefully."

"Viletula made the first move, sending out an electric shock that sent current through the clay body of my beast. Glug's limbs visibly tensed, but they were unwilling to surrender."

"They began laying a beat-down against the Viletula, pounding away at it's body with giant fists and letting out Astonishing yells the whole while. It was on the ropes in seconds."

"Before I could process it, it was over. Other than the aftershocks of the paralysis, Glug took no damage as they erased the Viletula's chances at victory, and Gary's smug face fell to a silent scowl. I could tell Glug's power was rising ever greater."

"Hah! Snooze, you lose, El Capitan!"

"Man, shut up! Gah, I'll just have to find better Pokémon!"

"Asshole."

"Like that, he was gone. Oh well. He had a lot to prove, I think. Not that I cared at the time."

"Before I left, Professor Oak stopped me and asked me, kindly, to pick something up from the next town over, Viridian City. I needed to go there anyway for Pokémon League business: there was a gym in that town that needed going to. I gave him a thumbs up and walked off on my way. First stop, Gary's house. Something I had to take care of."

"But before then, I checked on Glug. As I thought: powerful."

(What I'm showing off here are Moves, Natures, and Abilities! Moves are the obvious moveset of a 'Mon. In this case, Glug has Pound, Defense Curl, Astonish, and Mud Slap. Moves of the same type as a Pokémon's typing become STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) moves, dealing extra damage. So, Astonish and Mud-Slap do more damage with the Ghost/Ground-type Golurk than they would with, say, a Rock-type. Natures are randomly decided personality traits that affect stats, increasing one and decreasing another. Quirky is actually neutral, not affecting any stats. Finally, Abilities are bonus effects that differentiate Pokémon on an individual level. In this case, Glug has Klutz, a pretty shitty ability that disallows them from from holding Items in battle, like Berries or Leftovers for Healing.)

"I went to meet with Gary's sister. No, not to kiss her and run away laughing at his face. But I trust I was petty enough to have considered it once upon a time. No, instead, she passed me a spare town map that the old Captain Cunt didn't want me having. I thanked her, and moved on. The grass between Route 1 and the Viridian City Pokémart was dewey that morning, and it was in walking through the wet blades that I discovered my first Wild Pokémon.

"...What."

"Another Golurk. It seems whatever the Kanto government did to diversify the ecosystem worked a little too well. Luckily, I fought it off, without much trouble."

"Along my walk, I met a worker at the PokéMart who decided to pass along a free sample. A Potion, always appreciated."

"Just a little south from the city, I met a young girl also interesting in Pokémon training, and who asked for a battle. I smiled and nodded, now confident in Glug."

"Aww!"

"Anyway..."

"I found another Wild Pokémon in the grass just at the edge of Route 1, a new beastie known as Banette, a pure Ghost-type. Ghost-types are weak against eachother, so I'm grateful that Glug somehow managed to outspeed the creature and knock it out in one blow with Astonish. In doing so, they got just a bit stronger."

"And just like that, Viridian City. I didn't waste time, though. First-stop, the Pokémon Center. A non-profit organization dedicated to the safety and health of every Pokémon in the world.  They've actually reached a bit of celebrity status: most of their clerks, the pink-haired ones, are apparently related, all going by Nurse Joy. Their last name. Sisters or cousins. The sheer coincidence is so striking that it's half the reason they get enough donations to build bigger Centers. The Nurse Joy in Kanto wasn't in today, though, it seems, instead being a woman of around twenty-two with brown hair. She was nice."

"Then, the Viridian City Pokémart. Your one-stop shop for potions, Pokéballs, and as I'd come to find out, DNA Splicers. I retrieved Oak's package, no problem, and then the cashier threw a little extra something in on top of that: a free Splicer for the delivery. Not bad. I pocked it and began the run home. It was uneventful, save for another run-in with a Golurk or two just outside of Pallet Town."

"The Professor was delighted to see me again, asking how me and Glug were getting along. In all the excitement, I had kind of forgotten to figure. But if the thrum of spectral energy that seemed to gingerly wrap across my shoulder meant anything, they were clearly a little bonded to me. Battle tends to drag people together. I just smiled and said they were doing alright."

"The parcel contained some special, custom Pokéballs for Oak's collection."

'

"As a reward for my valiant efforts, Oak passed me a couple of things to help me on my journey. Firstly, a set of five Pokéballs, for catching new Pokémon. I clipped them right to my belt as soon as they rolled into my hands."

"And secondly, a fine invention. The Pokédex. A collection of scientific data on every Pokémon out in the wild. With how Fusion has affected the landscape, it'd be impossible to catch them all. But catching plenty was fine with me."

"A wide grin formed on my face as I practically sprinted into the grass, eager to catch the first thing I saw, which turned out to be yet another Golurk. I wasted no time. I had Glug pelt it with mud until it was weak, then hurled my Pokéball! In a flash of light, it was caught inside. One click...two...then three! I got him. In the process, Glug got a little stronger, and decided to forgo punching for now in favor of Rolling Out against their foes. I didn't mind. I didn't care. I needed to have my own fusion."

"Power. As soon as I got back to the PokéCenter, I hooked Glug and his fellow Golurk up to the DNA Splicer and flicked the switch. The previewer device showed me a titan. But I wasn't ready for the power within."

(The theme used for Fusion in-game.)

"My jaw dropped. My eyes forced themselves ever open. What was once a ghostly clay titan was now a merged duo, an iron-fisted warrior. Still Glug, but a Glug of two minds. I smiled. They were...perfect."

(Everytime we fuse two Pokémon together, we can select which Nickname they use of the two (if both have one, the other Golurk was not named), their Nature, their Ability, and either selecting one of their movesets or combining the two. While not every Fusion will have Audience Participation, you will be able to vote for how the fused Pokémon turns out for the ones that do! In this case, both Glug and the other Golurk only had Klutz, with Iron Fist being the other option for which Ability they would have randomly gotten. Iron Fist raises the power of Moves themed around punching, by the way. Quirky, which is what I went with, is Glug's. Jolly is the other Golurk's, and is +Speed and -Special Attack. It probably would have been better to go with Jolly than Quirky, since Golurks aren't special attackers and are slow, but I figured a neutral nature would keep things simple for the LP Explanation.)

"Just like that, my journey had truly started. A powerful Fusion to help kickstart things and nothing holding me back. But I still had to be careful. Danger was all around..."

Hope you enjoyed! :)

"If I had to pinpoint the day...no, no, that's not right! This isn't righ-!"

"-hell are you doing with these, gramps?!"

"Hey, that's my line!"

"I understand the confusion, but with DNA Splicers on the rise, there's been a growing movement to greatly diversify local ecosystems! Trust me, Tommy, it makes perfect sense!"

"He was grey before, HE WAS GREY BEFORE!"

"Stay calm, stay calm. Everything's foggy. Roll with it."

"You know damn well now that a piece of the world is missing."

"Think, what was really in those balls? Let me think...no, first was Golurk, right? A Ground/Ghost type. Immune to Normal, Fighting, and Electric Types. Strong against Poison, Rock, and Bug Types. But weak to other Ghost Types, as well as Water, Grass, Ice, and Dark Types. Physically strong, but slow."

"Next was Galvantula. Bug/Electric. Weak to Rock and Fire Types, but strong against Fighting, Steel, Grass, and other Electric Types. Incredibly speedy and a strong Special Attacker, but it doesn't start with great defensive options."

"Lastly, Vileplume. Grass/Poison Type. Weak to Flying, Fire, Psychic, and Ice Types. But resistant to the attacks of the Fighting, Water, Grass, Electric, and Fairy types. Fairly decent stats across the board, save for low speed."

"Every Pokémon can be viable. Which one did I go for, back then?"

Attempt 2 has started! Once again, pick our Starter and it's Nickname!

10
Why not just continue with attempt #1 then? Or did you delete the save already?

A few reasons, really. For one, I feel like this is a bad matchup for Attempt 1, Torterra vs. Lampent/Granbull.

For another, my last save was before picking Torterra, which would mean having to reselect and re-nickname Treeass every attempt.

And finally, I just really like randomization, and wanna re-roll to see what comes next.

11
These nuzlocke things seem really confusing, I should probably look into it at some point to give myself a better idea as to what the hell it is.

They're really not, though?

Once you begin your run by capturing Pokeballs, you just have to catch only the first Pokemon per route and nickname it. Once it faints, you can't use it anymore. That's it.

If there's anything else confusing, I can answer questions.

12
So, looked it up. Nuzlockes actually only start when you first obtain Pokeballs. I will still restart this run, but future runs will abide by this rule.

13

"Tommy! Calm down, it's-"

"CALM DOWN?! Every single one of these things is outside of Kanto, all of them are evolved at least once, how'd you even-GAH!"

"It was maddening. I could not believe it. Three Pokémon who had no business in Kanto, in Kanto. Professor Oak was either a genius, or there was something fishy afoot.[/i]"

"Dude, chill! Grandpa's just well-traveled."

"Well-traveled? To Unova? When'd he do that? I think we'd have fucking noticed!"

"It was like that for a good while, as I went back and forth between incredulity and excitement. Mostly incredulity."

"Once I had my fill of maddening confusion, I turned around and waltzed back to the table in a daze. Honestly, the choice was obvious. Too obvious. Should have known in hindsight that it was a disaster waiting to happen. Of course, at the time, I was just glad to hold power in my pocket. I knew I had to give it the most fitting name for a best friend, something I would be proud to introduce it as."

"...Close enough."

"But Gary, of course, had a better idea. Rather than just picking one and being done with it, he suddenly grabbed two and pulled one of the DNA Splicers out from his pocket! In a flash, he created...something, that's for sure, I still can't wrap my head behind what that thing even was. But he did it."

"GARY, WHAT THE HELL?"

"An understandable response."

"Ah...yes, well, DNA Splicers are used to combine the DNA of two Pokémon together to-"

"I know what it is! Why are you letting him do that? That's not fair at all!"

"Well, I would give you some as well, Tommy, but unfortunately? That was my last pair!"

"First gut-punch just that week. It was humiliating. What happened next, moreso."

"The second came when Gary waltzed up to me, Pokéball in hand, and declared that his fusion would fight my Torterra to determine how much stronger Fusions were to the basic Pokémon. I put up a brave face, but I was sweating bullets."

"What also scared me was the monstrosity he pulled out. Gran..ent? It looked like someone grafted Granbull's skin across a normal lantern. It was easily the most revolting thing he could have created. I sent "Treeass" out immediately. He could take it...right?"

(This is Treeass the Torterra! As you can see, he has the "Overgrow" ability, which powers up Grass-type moves, and the following moves: Tackle (a standard Normal attack), Absorb (a Grass-type move with low damage, but a drain life element), Razor Leaf (a stronger Grass-type move), and Withdraw (a Water-type move that buffs our Defense.)

"Treeass, use Razor Leaf!"

"A quartet of sharpened leaves sprouted from the bonsai on his back, slicing at Granent before it minimized to reduce it's chance at being struck."

"As soon as it could, it unleashed a poisonous Smog in the building. I was paralyzed as I watched Torterra begin choking on the gas, quivering on it's feet."

"I desperately tried to keep him going by calling for Absorption. It drained vitality from Granent, but the toxins in it's bloodstream were overpowering. Just like that..."

"...It was over. Torterra collapsed to the ground, unconscious and unable to support his own weight. I fell to my knees, heartbroken, but Gary paid it no mind. He ran off. My dreams of being a Pokémon master were already over. I was helpless, I..."

"Wait...no, that's not right. None of this is right? But everything's...foggy. I don't-wait, were those even the right Pokémon? Why can't I remember what really..."

"I ran into the horror on the beach that day. Ever since then...it's all been slipping from me..."

Decided to provide an in-universe reason for our now-unreliable narrator. I love storytelling. Anyway, Attempt 1 has sadly failed at the very first battle. Granent was too hard to hit and the Poison from Smog drained our low HP total quick. And I'm not wasting a mulligan, so, now we have to try again.

Should we keep Dr. Baker and Cpt. Cunt for a new telling of the story, or start a brand new adventure? If the latter, we again need a PC Gender, PC Name, and Rival Name.

14
That's a vote for Torterra! I'll leave this for a bit longer before I update again, so more votes are fine!

Also looking for a Nickname for our Starter!

15

Named after a good man with a giant nose.

And these are our settings! "Insane" randomization, as is shown, can be best described as any Pokémon popping up anywhere and at any time, as is shown here.
And with that, I believe our journey begins!

"If I had to pinpoint the day my life changed forever, it would have to be...that commercial.

"Silph Co's new invention revolutionized not just Pokémon, but society itself."

"It was convenient, but a little scary at first. Especially in my youth, when I got started on this wild ride. Soon after turning ten is when these things hit the market. Everyone was skeptical. Would it hurt them? Was it painful? Can I change them back? Silph Co. was quick to answer. No, no, and yes. They were easy to use, easy to reverse, and served solely to buff your companion's fighting prowess. Once all the big things were taken care of, they sold like hot cakes. Everyone had to have one. Within a week, I saw Weedles and Pidgeottos combined and fighting a cross between Geodudes and Mankeys. It was chaos, but it was chaos that sold well."

"But enough about time and supply and demand. I'm sure you're wondering who I am. My name's Tom, but as of this year, I'm Doctor Baker. Poké-Paleontologist. When it comes to reviving fossilized rock types or preserving the bones of every other form, I'm your man. But obviously, I wasn't always grown and ready to pursue a career of knowledge. Eleven years ago, I was little Tommy "Doctor" Baker of Pallet Town. I was called that because I would always hang around Professor Oak's place and study his books. Maybe that's got me interested in the whole thing."

"Pallet Town...I should probably head home and tell Mom and Leaf the good news. It's not the kind of place you'd expect to birth legendary trainers or renowned scientists. By the time I turned eleven, I was already the first one. It's basically a hole in the wall, not much around but a few houses, the backdoor of Kanto. But it's home."

"As I remember it, my journey really started the morning I got the acceptance letter. I had just seen the commercial again and had run to my computer to check on my stashed Potion when Mom called me downstairs. I was excited, it had to be today, it had to be!"

"I ran downstairs, and as soon as Mom smiled proudly and passed me the letter, I ripped the envelope open. I didn't care what it was. A rejection letter, an accepted application, another pamphlet for more DNA Splicers, it did not concern me! I got a write-back from the Indigo League, the Pokémon League branch here in Kanto! My eyes scanned the pen ink etched against the paper.

"I DID IT!"
"I cheered as much as my little lungs could carry me. Mom congratulated me, my sister Leaf congratulated me, I felt on top of the world! I was a licensed Trainer! I could buy Pokéballs with my own money, capture my own Wild Pokémon, travel anywhere my legs could carry me! Some kid want to be astronauts, or firemen, or doctors. Ironically, I ended up with a doctorate one way or another. But I got my dream job before I could even drive a car. Pokémon Trainer. I put my running shoes on, hugged my family, and raced out the door. Professor Oak had Pokémon waiting for me, I just had to go and grab one. But, as soon as I shut the door, I could hear footsteps from the left. Swaggering ones. It was him."

"I was...not...a mature child. I'm not even really a mature adult, but that's besides the point. His real name is Gary Oak, the Professor's grandson. Nowadays, we're actually really good friends. He's actually still an active trainer, traveling the world while I coop myself up in my office and look at bones. He still makes fun of me for it. But back then? We were bitter rivals, barely liked eachother enough to even both live in Pallet Town. Arrogant, egotistic, a showboat. I'd always call him the ugliest things and he'd shrug them off. Fucknose, Captain Cunt, Dr. Dick. Ugly things. Never in earshot of an adult, of course. My Mom didn't discipline with violence, but she didn't need to in order to be scary."

"As soon as he strolled up, I could feel my eyes roll so far that the muscles almost gave way. He was probably here to brag."

"Called it. Of course he got accepted, too. Gary was a prodigy."
"Yeah, so what? I got accepted, too!"
"I flourished my acceptance letter like it was a flag. He was thrown for a loop, I could see it. Even when he tried to save face, it didn't bother me one bit."

"I'm surprised they let you in! I assumed they had higher standards!"
"Clearly not, if you're also in it."
"Yeah, but you probably barely passed!"

"He checked over his shoulder for a parent. I could have done the same, but I didn't care if I got grounded when I was living an invincible morning out."

"I mean, that's some Bouffalant-shit! How'd you also make it in?"
"I studied. I bet you didn't, you Know-it-All Nutsack."
"Course I didn't! I know Pokémon better than you know your house!"

"He thumbed his nose at me, then. The cretin, I surely thought. It took all my willpower to ask where his grandfather was instead of insulting him again."

"Of course. He then told me, see ya! Like we weren't just in the middle of the adolescent equivalent of a roast session, he strolled off to the lab. Whatever. Viridian City wasn't that far, I thought I could make it before the Pokémon just outside our town noticed me."

"Before I could even make it onto the grass, though, there was Professor Oak, running through the grass like there were wild animals nipping at his ankles, and scolding me for even trying. Wild Pokémon love hiding in tall grass and bushes, so maybe I should have thought better of it, but I still thought I was invincible. Looking back, I'm glad he came back quick. I probably would have strolled my short lived life directly into a trash compacter for all the good I could have done to defend myself. As soon as he brought the Pokémon back up, my heart started racing, even as he took my little hand into his and walked me back into safety. The Professor's a good man."

"Gary was already there, as promised. He was antsy, one foot to another, but he stopped as soon as he saw me. If I wasn't blind by my pre-pubescent desire to punch him, I would have sympathized. We were both nervous and excited. Hearts racing, hands clammy. We were about to get a friend for life today."

"Professor Oak told us that I would get to pick first, which Gary was not having for a second. But Professor Oak shot him down."

"...He didn't actually call him that. But wow, would it have been hilarious if he did. Still, Gary seethed in the corner, and it was time to select my starter from the table. I remember thinking "Well, we're in Kanto, so it's gotta be...Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur!" It had to be, right? But as soon as I saw what was actually in the Pokéballs, and I remember this clearly, I was so baffled that it was the first time I had ever cussed in front of an adult."

"What-"

"-in-"

"-the FUCK?!"

So! There we have Update 1! I have two things to present.
First, we need to pick The Starter and it's Nickname.

Lampent is a Ghost/Fire type and the middle Evolution between Litwick and Chandelure, evolving into the latter when touched by a Dusk Stone. It's Immune to Fighting and Normal Type, resists Poison, Bug, Steel, Fire, Grass, Ice, and Fairy Types, and is Weak to Ground, Rock, Ghost, Water, and Dark Types.
Granbull is a full Fairy type. It's weak to Poison and Steel, Immune to Dragon, and resists Fighting, Bug, and Dark Types.
Torterra is the final Evolution of Gen IV starter Turtwig, and is a Grass/Ground type. It's Immune to Electric type, Resistant to Ground and Rock types, and weak to Flying, Bug, Fire, and Ice Types.

Lampent resists a lot, but what it's weak to can be matched by Torterra's Ground type moves. Torterra, in turn, is weak to Lampent's Fire-type moves back. Granbull has essentially no part in the triangle, aside from Lampent resisting Fairy. So, there is no wrong answer for what we pick.

Secondly, I am introducing three Mulligans! As this is my first Nuzlocke, I will be on training wheels. These can only be used once, each, in each full attempt/playthrough.
Spoiler: Mulligans (click to show/hide)
