Seeing that less than half the squad is listening to him Dexter I said no magic use, why Ratodx stops in his hustling and does some real quick thinking and speaking to try to salvage the situation.

"Reserti, Vhan, step to the sides and fall back to rear guard, make sure that you're not in the firing line."

"Dexter, I'd say drop that magic but you already made the things so just throw them at the target and then fire on the target using your firearms. The rest of Center, hold your positions and fire on the hostile using Firearms."

"Danh, make sure you have a clear firing line and light em up. Let loose with the boom if it's still moving after the first hail of bullets."

"Regon stay on stand by and be prepared to administer aid as you left your dakka at home."

After giving his orders, Ratodx makes sure that none of the squad is in his firing line and then does short bursts of fire on the Hostile using the SMG.

Seeing as it's one of the two that Ratodx had directed to himself, Danh, and Regon, he has Danh and himself carefully fire on the Lizard while it's still a good 15 meters out, trying to just hit the Darkness and not the Lizard by winging the Lizard, using single fire shots out of his SMG.
