I'm still here. I was making cool camouflage for the eventual tankening.

(From left to right)

Footfalls and clanking upon the top of the anti-air vehicle alert its crew to the presence of the Piratopians. With a heavy thud a hatch on top of the turret opens, and out pops the crew's iron lunged commander. With a menacing cock of his submachine gun he fires a barrage of angry questions towards the intruder. On the other side of the building the sounds of moving machinery, as well as the sudden clatter of a door being shattered alerts the rest of the Tatarstian bastion. The sounds of startled Tatarstian yelling, as well as the firing up of the APC's diesel engine serve to add to the noise.

In the apartment block the confusion continues. The last Tatarstian moving up the stairwell catches a glimpse of something alien, and horrible. Spinning around he manages to get it within his iron sights, but holds off from firing. He loudly questions the motives of the creature, though the sound of a machinegun firing away in the next room adds some difficulty to the task.

Battul have you gone yet? I can't really do anything until you do.

I'd play Twilight 2000. Or 2300 AD. Either or.

We could always just make cool guy playlists on Youtube for our specific factions.

I'm afraid not. The poor Tatarstian here is probably incredibly confused.

They're, uh, all standing right in front of an open driver's hatch, and the dirigible is also floating above a surface-to-air missile system. It's very likely they would've been spotted in some way or another by now.

I went ahead and expanded upwards a bit as well. I assume we'll need that.

The skies are suddenly laden with a descending Tatarstian ground assault group. Three re-entry barges make their way down towards the city, no doubt carrying heavy armor.

"Laze flash! Front building!"

The tank's hull machinegun begins to pepper the windows of the building in front of it. The tank's commander buttons up, sliding back down into the turret. He takes the fire from the Imperial forces personally.

"Unacceptable! Firing at us? Gunner, load HEAT, teach them a lesson!"

The vodnik of the group, understanding some of the fairy's own neo-slavic, gives a slow and cautious nod. He himself pantomimes back, attempting to make out that the Tatarstians are there to shoot at the people who are shooting at her.

Towards the rear the rest of the Tatarstian ground element takes caution. Something big has appeared on the radar screen of the missile system they were originally setting up. The crew flips the arming switches on the launchers, awaiting a clearer tone in their headphones.

(I should probably note, the vodnik's the guy in the doorway to the apartment, a sergeant. Further down the hall the guy in that doorway is the desetar, a corporal.)

I'm not. Feel free to declare on that, as confusing as it'd probably get.

I definitely totally have a new thing I'm making for my army to make the Leman Russ less scary.

Also declare.

KillerHP. I see now he'd crossed out his go.

The vodnik scrunches up his face a bit, confused by the response he's gotten out of the fairy. While some Tatarstians would easily respond in broken English, this particular Tatarstian isn't one of them. His troop has the misfortune of hailing from an out of the way planet under the Confederacy, and the education there isn't as great as the rest. All he can manage to do is give a half-hearted shrug whilst attempting to slowly respond in bastardized space Serbo-Croatian.

The rest of the squad continues its advance, rushing past the fairy already in the hallway. Their desetar reaches the doorway first, continuing to order the rest of the Tatarstians up the stairwell.

We still declaring/dibbing? It's been a while for what's his face to have a go so I guess I'll go ahead with one.

Congratulations you are using a older map! Way to go!

Shit happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A mess of Tatarstian militsiya come to the aid of the fairies, no doubt remembering the past alliances between the two factions. The squad rushes on towards the sounds of battle, ushered on by the voice of their corporal.

"Potez! Potez! I want that machinegun up so we can keep advancing!"

Their squad's leader, stopped in the doorway, faces a fairy to make an attempt at finding their own leader.
