<<Sorry for the delay, busy moving across town :/>>

Sneak into the king's chambers.

[14]You get past the guards to the stairs, and get to what appears to be the king's chambers, but are almost caught by some guards, and barely hide in a random room. There appears to be someone else in the room...

If I smacked a few, they should be dead, no?

Leave the carcasses as bait to attract something bigger. I want to fight them in the light if at all possible.

<<Yep, they're dead. Or at least very dazed.>>

You leave what you assume to be the carcasses of some bats on the ground, in the hopes that something more interesting might come and want to fight you.

(oh, sorry.)

Jeremmy gives a "hmm." of interest, puts the ring on, and evokes its power in a random direction.

You wave your hand about in a random direction, and before you know it everyone and everything in the vacinity feels a great surge of power as the very stone of the cave comes to life in what appears to be a large, sentient humanoid stone golem.

"Why can't these insane scientist-type people ever control their creations?"

Apply poison to my sword, keep prepared for all hell to break loose. Keep watch and warn everyone when the androids are destroyed, if neccesary.

Go to one of the ancient gates on a planet-you should be able to find one somewhere. Go to the Outpost, open one of the teleporters, It'll have you go through the whole "name me" thing again, then you're done. I've done the same thing before; if you're clearing out a bunch of old flag bookmarks, you've got to be careful or else you'll clear that one as well.

Really want to learn Spanish. Always been interested. Thought I'd take it as an elective this year. Nope, required study hall, and I'm not quitting band to learn Spanish. Stupid school. I lied to myself when I said I'd teach myself; I won't, don't have enough motivation from just myself. I need to stop thinking about stuff. No wonder I don't do anything I want to do. I always psyche myself out.

Don't forget you can also safely store poison and food in that thing, with little to no negative side effects.

The GM agrees. They will now continue the story.

Try using the electricity powers of the ring.  Attempt to shoot lightning at any stables or hay bales in the castle courtyard.  Try and remain undetected.

You attempt to use the electrical powers provided by the ring, but instead get a small spark that causes your hair to stand slightly, and nothing else. You also manage to stay unnoticed, although going too far into the castle might prove difficult.

Jeremmy walks in and examines the shiny object.

As you examine the shiny thing in the wall, you begin to notice the earth around it somehow....shifting. The ring has a fairly basic design of mountains and valleys on it, although some of them seem to shift if you look closely. It falls into your hand, seemingly of your own accord, and by merely touching it you feel a great power stored within the ring.

Have the Squire investigate the darkness, sword ready to assist him.

[6] The squire, upon being told to investigate the darkness, stumbles and alerts the bats. Although they appear mostly harmless, you swing your sword and do nothing but smack a few, causing them to squeak in alarm and fly off.

What exactly is Cyberpunk? Is it essentially an environment with very developed systems for stuff like hologram, AI, VR, and tons of virtual stuffs?

A good example of a cyberpunk game that's free (don't own any paid-for cyberpunk games) is Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. While a lot of the lore's centered around the zombies and other things infesting the world, the few glimpses of the rest of the world paint a disturbingly realistic picture of what could be, if we ever get that technology.

To actually answer the question though, there's a lot of ways to go about it. There's the fun, fuck-everything variant that I've seen in a few places, which is basically a less sci-fi, slighty less serious version of Border Lands. There's an actual guess at what could be, where the rich are rich for reasons possibly tied to being able to afford cybernetics and keeping them from the poor, and is much more dystopian and serious. There's an intentionally beyond-reality dystopian version of the world, where the general public can get cybernetics, but the government/other equivalent is corrupt/generally malevolent. And so much more, I could go on all day. Generally though, they all tend to be more dystopian than anything, cybernetics tends to play a big part of the plot, and there's some part of society that generally needs to be fought.

Stay out of the way.

"Are we sure this thing won't decide to kill us or anything?"

It's a definite difference, but they're still not the most impressive things, I will admit. My favorite part of the whole things is having a room full of friendly robots or whatever else. I literally just make a zoo, and that's it. If I want someone to fight with me, and my friends aren't on, I've got a crew for that.

The GM stares intensely at Mai, who has seemingly frozen in time.
