Pfft. Elves probably only use thermonuclear missiles made out of wood.

Let's turn around and accelerate straight for the missiles. Then they will all clump together and we can dodge them ALL with one roll. Also some of them might run into each other. Also then we can lead them back toward the moon base.

Can [I_SOURCE:ATTACK] do anything other than add a syndrome?

People have made CE_SPECIAL_ATTACK_INTERACTION work, right?
The following test isn't working for me when I start with [SPECIALATTACK_INTERACTION:BITE] on the bite.
The first bite transforms, but a third creature bitten by the now-human doesn't get the syndrome.
Code: [Select]
[INTERACTION:BITE]

[I_SOURCE:ATTACK]
    [IS_HIST_STRING_1: bit ]
[IS_HIST_STRING_2:, passing on the werebeast curse]
[I_TARGET:A:CREATURE]
    [IT_LOCATION:CONTEXT_CREATURE]
    [IT_REQUIRES:CAN_LEARN]
    [IT_REQUIRES:HAS_BLOOD]
    [IT_FORBIDDEN:NOT_LIVING]
    [IT_FORBIDDEN:SUPERNATURAL]
    [IT_CANNOT_HAVE_SYNDROME_CLASS:WERECURSE]
    [IT_CANNOT_HAVE_SYNDROME_CLASS:VAMPCURSE]
    [IT_CANNOT_HAVE_SYNDROME_CLASS:DISTURBANCE_CURSE]
[I_EFFECT:ADD_SYNDROME]
    [IE_TARGET:A]
    [IE_IMMEDIATE]
    [SYNDROME]
    [SYN_CLASS:WERECURSE]
            [CE_DISPLAY_TILE:TILE:165:5:0:1:START:0]
            [CE_DISPLAY_NAME:NAME:necromancer:necromancers:necromantic:START:0]
[CE_SPECIAL_ATTACK_INTERACTION:INTERACTION:BITE:BP:BY_CATEGORY:TOOTH:START:1:ABRUPT]
    [CE_BODY_TRANSFORMATION:START:0]
        [CE:CREATURE:HUMAN:MALE]

I hate it when a webcomic doesn't have table of contents, and the url for a specific comic isn't just a number, so you can't easily find your place at all if you didn't save it.

Or there's the reverse-centaur.

Wouldn't a reverse centaur have hooves for hands?

Now that specialattack_interactions can be granted by secrets, Kisat Dur can become a lot more fun. Special attacks only take effect if the attack breaks a tissue, so if you add interactions to punches and kicks, they will only take effect if you manage to break a bone with an unarmed attack.

I made a secret that causes a compounding temporary force multiplier on the victim each time you break a bone with a punch or a kick. Basically each time you break an enemy's bone, as long as you attack quickly enough subsequent attacks do increasingly more damage until you're exploding limbs with every blow.
I thought that special attacks like that work when you break the skin, not when you break a bone? Nothing about CE_SPECIAL_ATTACK_INTERACTION makes me think that you choose what layer it works on.

We dodgeroll, and shoot space mantis jerky on peak arcs of the dodgeroll to maximize velocity, while aiming near the projectile's rear thrusters.

So I wanted to post a finding about the new healing syndromes here, since they seem to be fairly interesting

So, as far as regrowing limbs goes, it doesn't appear to function properly in adventurer. You regrow the limb, then the next time you sleep/wait/travel, you lose the limb again. You can always heal it back given that you still have access to the interaction, but you will lose it again upon [T] traveling or [Z] waiting, it seems.

If anyone else has a solution to this issue that they would like to share, don't hesitate to do so! I'd love to get a more permanent healing effect to the regrowing limbs syndrome.
Is this on the bugtracker?

Yeah, unless it's a matter of life and death, don't lie to your spouse.
A marriage where you feel the need to lie to your spouse is probably not a healthy one.

Apparently, there's surgery to unbreak the hymen of women so that they can count as a virgin again.
Do people not understand having an unbroken hymen and being a virgin are a correlation, not an equation?

I suppose you could say the same thing about breast implants (or any other kind of cosmetic surgery) in the pursuit for greater attractiveness. That the physical portion being modified is correlated to attractiveness, but ultimately not the cause.
Do people go around glancing at other people's hymens, because otherwise I'm not getting the similarity.

Granted. You can visualize the idea of 5 of the 9 worlds of the world tree Yggdrasil in your mind, which you probably already could do.
I wish one of my earlier wishes were granted again.

Isn't Bumble also (one of) the site(s) that matches expire after 24 hours? Seems like some good design when it's not a daily-use app.
It is! The lady gets a notification about the match, and then they have 24 hours to send a message otherwise it goes bye-bye.

Of course, generally speaking they're going to have more than enough matches to work with at any given time, so the idea of time pressure kinda falls a bit flat.

Speaking of, I got a match just yesterday! First out of 100 or so profiles swiped through. I don't think anything's going to happen on that front, but the interaction was at least polite and cordial, which is a refreshing change!

EDIT: Someone tried inviting me into some closed group on Facebook, but you're supposed to answer some questions before your "membership" can be approved by the page admins. The first question (and the only one I saw, because I am generally entirely uninterested in joining random groups that nobody's talked to me about previously) was "Do you believe in making a difference for climate change" (with far worse grammar in the original Norwegian), with the options "Yes, I think it's real and we can do a better job for the environment" and "No, it's all just hysteria".

The question allowed for selecting multiple answers.
Was the group Multiple Personality Disordered Unite?

Apparently, some anti-vaxxers are having pox parties to deliberately give their children chicken pox, because actually getting the disease is somehow better than vaccines.
