So how about a little minigame while we let these rules percolate?

Since the gladiator thing is getting some support, here is a demo thread, of how I might host battles. We can also do team or pve battles.

I do not support TTE's new draft of the OP Inactivity law, because it auto demotes them, rather than making them vulnerable to demotion, if desired. After the 3 day limit.

Proposal: All characters must be aligned with an entity of their choice. This entity may be an individual (see clause B), a specimen of flora or fauna, an organization, or a deity (see clause C).

Clause B: The individual may be the character itself.

Clause C: The deity must be from a pre-existing (see clause C.A) religion or fictional work.

Clause C.A: Pre-existing, for the sake of this rule, means before the character was made.

Reason: This is to give characters an allegiance or motivation for acting.

Thoughts on my rule tier proposal?

Also, proposal: If a player does not post to the thread for three days then it is to be assumed to have left the game.

Proposal: There are two classes of rules: Alpha rules, which govern the Nomic; and Beta rules, which govern any in-game games. Alpha rules are to be listed under an Alpha header. Beta rules are to be listed under a Beta header. Alpha rules are to be referred to as Alpha-1, Alpha-2, and so on. Beta rules are to be referred to in a similar way.

Alpha rules overrule Beta rules.

Reason for proposal: This is to give the Nomic distinctive tiers to make it easier to understand. That way Nomic stuff is in one place and in-game stuff is in another.

I think this should be elaborated on. What is this for?

When this happens the new OP must link to the previous thread in their OP and to the next thread in their last post in the old thread. OP is assumed to have left the game.
