Whenever I watch/read/play something and someone says that it drove them to tears by the end, I have an internal crisis, because the only media that ever legitimately drove me to tears were Up and that story about the doll and the tin soldier. I feel like I might have some kind of problem.

Not including all the other problems I have, of course.

Well I guess Darwin would have wanted it this way...

After some thought, I’ll settle for world 3.

664
Sign me up in fourth place, if it’s possible.

Aa fof the maps... I’m not sure. Map 2 is probably the coolest in terms of design, but it’ll be hard to play if the Dwarves are nearing extinction. Map 1 looks more compressed and easily navigable, but there’s stuff everywhere, and it seems very crowded. Map 3 is less crowded, but overall, it has less stuff.

I genuinely don’t know.

Have They ever delvered on a promise? No. No they haven’t, they just stand around with pages torn from the book of all the answers to all the world’s unsolved mysteries up their noses while the guy in charge desperately tries to remind them that they’re the secret world order even as the Guy beside Him starts munching at his cape.

Yeah I did my best to avoid being horny for a bug as much as possible

All the pharmacies in my area have run out of hand sanitizer, and have started stocking medical masks. People are buying up a lot of food. There are plans to go to the army and Navy surplus shop in Limerick to buy gas masks radiating around the Village. Things are very tense.

Ii is indeed in Ireland.

I’m not confident that our healthcare system is robust enough to deal with this.

Any news on if it’s getting faster or slower or both or neither or no-one knows?

A School in Dublin’s been closed after someone got sick with the virus, so that’s fun.

Now that 47.04’s been released, we could probably start organizing this properly. We won’t be getting another release for what I believe the scientific community refers to as a ‘Yonk’.

It’s probably for compression’s sake. If there’s lots of time shown in which nothing happens, that’s not very interesting unless you know how to write relly relly well. I never really noticed that People emote constantly in those works myself until now, but I am a weirdo.

"Its uh, the royal 'We'. Because we are our own king now or something. Yeah sounds legit."

"Right, you ask a random hobo to help you save the town and I'm the idiot. I'll just go get my hobo shank and start stabbing necks. How rude of them, interrupting my chat with the nice kitty god..."

Stand up, brush ourselves off, and look for someone who is injured. They can explain what is going on while we dance-heal them.
We can figure out what's going on later. People need help now.

Spring to our feet. Drop the crazy act for once. "My methods are unorthodox sir, but I've some talent in the closing of wounds. Have we any injured in the building?"

You jump off the plinth.

The Man shakes his head as his hands fidget, seemingly without him noticing.

“No! They aren’t here yet, you ne-‘

Outside, clearly visible through the wide open doors, a vast, dark shape begins to form on the horizon beyond the distant rooftops, twisting, splitting, merging, swarming. Someone screams. For just a moment, he freezes up, a look pf pure terror in his eyes. He turns to you, white as a sheet, and grabs you by the shoulder, dragging you out of the builsing, into the small courtyard, and through it into the larger one with the shrines and the twin stone buildings, to a group of three Greencloaks carrying massive longbows and intricately detailed arrows. The courtyard has about five people piloting massive kites; whenever one stabilizes in the air, it starts producing a high-pitched whistling. As you catch looks over the tall buildings, you spot more kites, in every direction, high above the city, in constant whistling chorus. The vast black shape beyond them is getting bigger.

The Man regains the use of his tongue finally, to the relief of the anxious Greencloaks, and starts spluttering out words.

‘She’s a healer I think I don’t know please gods help me...’

The Greencloaks make audible thinking sounds for an instant before one speaks.

‘If you can heal people, stick here or head down to the Arch at the Market Square, then brace for impact. Can you do that? If you can’t, then grap a kite, we need all hands working on this, and we need it now!’

The wind is strong, the ground is wet, and the air is cold. You feel groggy after waking up, but you’ve felt worse.
