I'm not good with understanding code stuff entirely. Currently I'm trying to use the full-heal command to resurrect a dead being in the arena. I just lack the info of how to put the creature's ID after full-heal command.

I went and killed those criminals in the town 'Taxlove' along with three priests, a marksmandwarf in the fortress, a human planter in the marketplace. Went back to the hamlet to the west and told two npcs that the criminal threat is over basically.

So is this playthrough for now as I kind of feel sick from it. As in I just don't have the heart to kill innocents for no reason and yet will give bugger all when I'm furious.
Point is. It seems ZM5 has fixed whatever problem he had with the Draenei and off-shoots of them crashing the game so I'll be genning a fresh new world with the Draenei and Lost Ones in it sometime later. Hopefully no crashes happen and I can have my 7th incarnation of good Dhorna start amongst the Draenei along with peaceful dance forms, music and poems. A world with npcs I can feel affection towards.

You realize that most roguelikes either don't have detailed adventurer graphics, or let you drawn your own, right?

I was thinking of majority of mainstream games. Also the roguelikes I've tried previously aren't my cup of tea either as majority of them tend to lack many things to keep my interest.

There's tons of stuff that aren't yet implemented or only half done for Adventure mode according to the dev page anyways so we'll have to wait and see if that get to its potential.

Aye, hopefully it does.

^Missed that.

HOLY CRAPBASKETS! You haven't played .42.06 yet?
snip.

That was my reaction aswell. hehe

And mine. Almost posted a rage-fueled post here explaining why DF is the only game now-a-days I play because in no other game can I play as something beast like or at least a muscular warrior woman but nooo, mainstream gaming likes their warrior females to look like thin super models with barely a muscle on them and I'm beyond sick of it!

Only in DF I can create and play as a muscular (custom modded-in race) female and NPCs would actually react to my character's name, race, title and profession and what she has done. Can I do an in-depth DF combat in any of the RPG games ever? Can I do all of that in Skyrim, (insert many other RPGs here)? Can I play as a Minotaur or a Gnoll character in Neverwinter Nights' story? Can I play as an Orc in Gothic 2's story? Can I play as that tall warrior Goblin or a Rat Man in Arx Fatalis' story? Can I play as a Lizard Man in Divine Divinity's story? No of course not, it's ALWAYS human this or human that and I am beyond sick of it.

That's why I finally broke a nerve after one disappointing new release after another and finally turned to playing DF instead, to get something I need from a game. Good thing I happen to have a naturally strong imagination ability as it allows me to better play DF and imagine its creatures. Plus I don't have to put up with my room heating up due to my Gigabyte's GTX 980 working at full power producing a whopping 70+ degrees celsius when trying to run ARK Survival Evolved for example, plus the damn loud noise of the fans making me eye-twitch and paranoid about running my computer to the ground, like it's gonna catch fire at any moment or get a blue screen of death I used to get on the older machines.

Nice, this reminds of me testing out harpoon launchers and shredders by putting 4 squads of 10 or so dwarves with 100 ammo for their respective weapons in the arena and watching them plink away at each other.

Heh, painfully way to go with getting hit by those, which reminds me that I still haven't tried one of those harpoon launchers yet and they're something I'll probably add along with the Draenei to my own modded DF install. Just means about an hour or two of setting up but for now my focus is on the current world.

Very, uhh, confident dwarf.

Went and did some arena mayhem as a godess Ischrotaur with 5000 in abilities and all skills at legendary, Using only her ischronite two-handed sword. Ischronite is my own custom demonic take on adamantine and slightly better from it.
Anyhow, I killed an average+unskilled Eliminator, an average+grandmaster Elminator and finally a max(5000)+legendary Eliminator and slightly after that a max(5000)+legendary Magma Giant, all from ZM5's modpack (except the Ischrotaur of mine).

Eliminators were able to make my Ischrotaur propel away by charging at her, even the unskilled one was able to do that to my surprise but they all died shortly after I severed some of their limbs or got a clean cut to their head. Also what surprised me the most was my Ischrotaur able to sprint-jump-slam into the average+grandmaster Eliminator making him skid and fly away a few squares, I literally had to press the 'one tick forward' a few times until the beast slammed onto the ground where I slashed his head off, he gave into pain after slamming IIRC. Biggest joke was with that max+legendary Magma Giant, lashed one of it's feet with the platinum whip and some other areas but it was rather quick as this is what happened:

I honestly did not expect that. I thought it would crack or fracture it's crust or something but like the Magma Man. Rather easily severed from the lower body by the tools I use.

Here's the horrible aftermath:

As ye can see, the Magma Giant's magma is burning the max+legendary Eliminator's (the only one with the most severed off limbs too, bled to death) remains there. The Eliminator on the top right corner was the one unskilled, can't remember what I severed off to make her (first one was a female) bleed like that.

Quote from: Toady
Looking through the lens of someone who plays RPGs, it’s terrible, because you don’t feel like you’re inhabiting a person with an overarching life path or quest path. Not that you want to force a story down someone’s throat but just that you felt like you’ve changed the world.

THIS! Exactly the main reason why I don't play fort mode!

DF's Adventure Mode is the only place where I can play as something I thought up and created. For me personally, fortress mode is a sideshow as I'm just not that kind of player. Rather have my custom adventuring creature build stuff, craft stuff and whatnot.

Huehuehue. More reason to mod bronze colossi or even dragons to be playable, and ideally intelligent. Megabeast flag means the whole town will be eager to fight, too. X3

Well, my female Ischrotaur doesn't look all that more menacing with just chestnut skin and golden yellow eyes, just means warp/demonic/hellish powers are in the works and in DF realm with all the different creatures she'd be just another oddity to them at first until it's too late. Ischronite is now in vermilion color in that particular world.

All things check except a backpack and info about the areas now, an easy thing to fix.

EDIT: Nice, two criminal pests to massacre and this time the other one is in the exact place the previous good incarnation of Dhorna started off in.
EDIT2: Neat, backpack (blazing cloth, how fitting) and some info about the local area, check! I can now freely do whatever I want from evil to good without going in a simulation mode to kill some npc who pisses me off or something of the sort!

EDIT3: By the way, I do apologize if I seem chaotic with a "screw off" attitude with this as I'm once again been up for far too long and I just couldn't get any rest until I boot up DF again and did what I needed to do to calm down and know for sure that I have a new adventure rolling. A playthrough where I can well and truly express the amount of evil I didn't even do as a Drog the kobolth and this evil version of Dhorna is my first ever official semi-evil female character. It's also her first incarnation where the feminine take on the name 'Khorne' will be put to use properly.
And when I talk of killing humans in the game or calling them humies I'm of course relieving my frustrations and hate. Nothing to do with you guys in this forum (you've been the best forum folk I've met!). Just the ones who've managed to piss me off to no end in the past or in far past or some other recent farce in real life. I hope you understand. Plus I have to live up to my avatar of pixelated Khorne icon at some point by playing DF in such a horrible way that it is worthy both of Khorne and Armok. :)

Ughhh. Y'know what folks. I just realized something once again. I keep trying to take a break from DF but I just can't for the life of me get any rest because I need one thing.. ONE thing from DF for a few days now and that is: A secondary adventure mode playthrough where I play as an evil version of Dhorna.

To put it short: I just need to unleash my dark impulses in that secondary playthrough. To be the Khorne incarnate and rain hate and terror down onto everything ingame that I just wanna hack and stab and mutilate, punch and kick, gore and bite to tear them apart! Drolth sword wasn't made to be something you keep strapped on back 90% of the time.

Eh, I'm just tired of dealing with NPCs and reading for the time being, I'm dying for some action so I'd rather kill and hack things and get some proper Warhammer 40k chaos mayhem done to relax. First victims will be that human civ I originally spawned in, or better yet: the town with a criminal problem. Slaughter them all and no problem! :D

*an hour later* Alright, 'Dhorna Demonborn the Queen of Rage' has been created, now to change her alternative azure eyes and mahogany skin to something evil and some DFhack warp sorcery and I shall have my fill of massacre. To quote the chaos dreadnought: "I WILL MASSACRE ALL I FIND!" Heh, this will be fun for me and will help me relive my sorrows and pains and intense anger and frustration. Ischronite metal will also be painted some form of red in this alternate version of 'Gatalsil'.

I saw him rant at Random_Dragon in a disappeared thread a few nights ago, and pointed out that I cheat WAY the hell harder than our chaotic dragon!

I laughed a bit too much at reading that info. It's just good to know I'm not the only one called a wizard/witch/sorcerer whatever!

Anyhow my current adventuring is on hold as the civ I started off in wasn't to my liking and I've made meanwhile a few (possibly semi-final) polishing to my Ischrotaur raw.
So It depends on when I get back to DF and if ZM5 has fixed the issues by then with his newly modded-in creatures.

Planning either re-creating my character in a different civ in the current default world or when ZM5 has fixed the issues with the Draenei I'll be just having them as a civ in a fresh new world as my DF experience needs a peaceful race and a civ to start off in (peaceful dance forms!).
Quite fed up actually with having to choose humans every time in the default game as they happen to have the most convenient npcs and easy to find buildings for all things adventure-wise.

Hahaha, tbh I wanted you to check out the magma giants since the regular magma men are actually in vanilla, but this is still pretty cool - shame there's no "arena mode fights" thread.

Wait, have I just derped big time (I was quite sleepy, so in the abstract)? *quickly checks the game* Whoops. :-[ Magam Giant is just above the Magma Man in the creature selection but I swear I did not see 'magma giant' anywhere as at the time only 'giant magpie' was above the 'magma man' to select.
It's not the first time something like that has happened though, in few instances I couldn't even find 'giant' and 'giantess' including when 'ischrotaur' was still a 'minothar'.

It's an odd bug. Actually in this case I fought a default thing, I opened DF with dfhack and that folder didn't have the mod installed. *facepalm slap*

EDIT: Alright, killed the unskilled magma giant in the arena with the ischronite two-handed sword, both me and it had average abilities but me being grand master in the skills area and I gotta say it took a lot more heck of an effort to kill it than an unskilled magma man. There was a lot more fire involved too. Further testings will have to have my drolth sword in and DFhack installed due to inability maxing stats in default game as both three tiers of difficulty are important (average+unskilled, average+grandmaster, max+legendary). Huh, I should add fourth difficulty tier one too, that being: max+unskilled.

Alright, ZM5 wanted to know how my Ischrotaur would fare against one of his OP creatures or vice-versa, Magma Man was my first choice. Mind you the new polished Ischrotaur is a lot broader and previously the female Ischrotaur was at BROADNESS 112 and now its 122 to fit the facial descriptions of this:

My lass had attributes at 5000 and everything skill-wise at legendary, so did the third/last magma man.

Anyhow first I killed an unskilled magma man with average attributes (hacked his head off), then I killed a magma man who had average attributes but grand master everything else, this one managed to block some of my drolth sword and platinum whip attacks with his own ischronite drolth and a platinum whip but in a few ticks, he dead (severed from the lower body).

But the last one, that was trying to wiggle out of it's doom with dodging and parrying like no other, here's a few initial damages I did to him:

Took a while to get a few serious damages in but then again my concept of time is a bit on the fritz right now, here's the final blow:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And here's the aftermath of essentially a field of death sentence:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As ye can see only the unarmed one was without the preferred weapons of mine and both the magma man and my ischrotaur at full muscle buff weigh about the same but then again Ischrotaur has much denser muscles and bones and is 122 broad with default body size at 125,000 and height at 109, no length modifier so that's a 100 probably.
It's safe to say that a magma man is much bigger from my creature, 240 something was it's dead weight while a fully buffed (5000 in abilities) female Iscrotaur weighs about 230 (233 for males).

That was about the size of it and to be honest. It was fun, being this godess figure able to take on these things bare nude with only weapons in her hands.
Even though the ischrotaur was just called 'Ischrotaur 1' in the arena.. to me it might as well been 'Shatah' in the form of an ischrotaur getting her revenge.

I've tried a few tricks over the course of few weeks and so far I've found out that without the BODY_APPEARANCE_MODIFIER:LENGTH the 'gigantic' tag disappeared completely. The wiki seriously should have more in-depth info about the numbers and what they do.

I personally told you why that happens just last month. And the month before that.

Doh! Of course! Good grief, sorry. I've managed to completely forgot about the bug meanwhile. Oih, well at least now I'm properly aware of it. *keeps facepalming*

EDIT: Still, I can't wrap my head around why I can't get the broadness tag to show up even with broadness of 195 and height at 109 (just checked). Damn, arse-backwards math indeed and I still suck at math mainly due to being forced into it almost every day during school-slavery-time and I still can't properly approach to math without blowing a fuse or two and have PTSD moments of mine of school.

At the very least I know that the broadness and height ingame do work (mind you my Ischrotaur has no length modifier, just like the default minotaur).. just the damn descriptions don't as adding more broadness numbers increases the weight and the same deal with height.

But what about 'low clear voice' or 'deep clear voice' tag?

EDIT2: Nevermind:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Makes males have a 'very deep voice' and females have a 'low clear voice' tags. Success! Means I don't have to waste time pressing the "randomize" button for like 10+ minutes
