There's something called "skinny master" and at this point I'm not sure what the actual fuck I'm attempting to kill. :o

It's just a description assigned to someone with the title master.

Meanwhile...fuck it. Conquered all the local towns and retired. Might see how well it fares as another adventurer.

No, uhm. I think it's a demon as it's some sort of a fox in a human form. I can only bruise it's muscles and seems to be far worse than a dragon or a hydra. It has a '&' symbol.

EDIT: Yeah it's about a body size 10,000,000 fucking demon. holy fuckballs.. I'm either outta here or change my own body size.

Seems like that hydra needed some undead rat skins applied to its heads.

Meanwhile in the goblin lands: !!FUN!!

Quite realistic actually, in this case it all comes crashing down to the governments and their leaders deciding stupid stuff. Well, leaders in my DF world have one or more thing coming their way if they try to pull something on my Kobolth and those he holds dear. My character is an outsider.. an ancient Kobolthian warrior hermit older than time itself and disdains all laws. He sees only his willpower mightier than any law or power ever created.

He should fight for him, the good fight. Which may be bad for others. Some can wave tiny flags.

Fight for who? Oh, I think that he already does seeing as I just ambushed a kobold camp slaughtered six of 'em and got my gauntlets from their camp which I turned into exceptional quality adamantine ones. Since he has long forgotten the Kobold utterances due to their primitivity.. well, his excuse is "it was inevitable" and those killed kobold names on the shield and the greatsword are rather fitting start. In a few moments I'll be at the goblin doorsteps.

Continuing on in my adventure, ended the simulation mode and decided to stay nice and polite with the bandit commander lass.. I just don't have the heart to kill either her or her comrades besides that warrior gal has a husband and a child waiting for her at home. For all I know she and her group could be fellow vikings so no. Moving on to a goblin settlement and unleash evil on evil and hopefully get my own guild in black speech goblin speech and ruin the day for them while at it.

Indeed, once you see any two creatures just talking about their day, you know really it's time to slowly back out the door. Goblins and many other common "enemies" in Bim's world aren't anymore driven to evil than elves, dwarves or humans. It's mostly about swinging first.

So I'm currently playing as a murloc axeman, and one thing I noticed is that the naga who gives me orders so far has given 3 orders to kill murloc lords of naga hamlets. I can only suspect a destabilization plot.

Gonna go kill a swamp titan as thats another order. I'm sorta trying to piece together a story for all this so far.

Murlocks, nagas? *has flashbacks of fond memories playing Warcraft 3*

Okay so I went to a nearest bandit camp a dwarf in that fortress I crafted my stuff at told me about, turns out it has humans from some other human settlement. Am now in a testing mode to figure out how to get that human female commander to force join my character as an hearthperson. Trying different methods to get her for !!SCIENCE!!.

Don't really need a companion but I am curious about of evil ways to get somebody no matter what their rank is. Besides it seems I need to visit a goblin site first to have my organization in goblin language.

The NPC AI always needs to be monitored it seems. While you can play with holding mechanics to get an NPC to hold more than they should in their hand(s), strapping-weapon-to-body mechanics and combat escalation mechanics will upend your best intentions:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
When this happened, though knowing it would likely end badly, I decided to let things play out organically instead of micromanaging (trade/re-trade) what was held.

Later, Bim finally sourced out a non-webbing/non-fire titan for the group to train on:

Naturally things went awry, despite the constant wrestling:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Cerol's freakish elven disease resistance should take care of this. And if it doesn't, well, it doesn't.

Ouch, poor Cerol. Hope his arm heals somewhat.

In my adventure I crafted my mastercraft iron adamantine mail shirt then found out that I can craft either a wooden or bone shield so I crafted a mastercraft hoary marmot wooden shield and did a switcharoo with that too so it's a mastercrafted platinum shield. Finally all of the mastercrafted gear has my adventurer's name on them in the description! I left all the clothing at exceptional quality as I'm unable to craft those parts and have his name on them (unless leather armor IS the clothing here, IDK).

Well, time to get off me crafting arse and finally go and do battle!

okay so lesson learn when you have duck barons and nobles who give you mandates you can't even CHECK.
it's time to start thinking about cramming them into a cage and selling them back to dwarves.
also capture the mallard-chameleon who did turn into a werechameleon so uhh gonna see if I can sell these 2 off and work on building a nice home for this goblin noble because sometimes in life you can't cage and or butcher your problems. also my duck adventurer got stuck in a tree.
It's like a Penny cartoon on acid.

All of it seems like being on acid to me. :D

In my own adventure I did the opposite of not talking and also decided to see what happens when I turn my mastercrafted bone armor to adamantine: Adamantine armor gear with my character's name on them! Am missing gauntlets and chainmail bits though, chainmail I can craft but gauntlets are absent from crafting, bummer but onwards with crafting that mastercraft iron adamantine chainmail!

I mistakenly put some of my masterwork feather wood cups into the feather wood cup of booze I had intended to give a companion. I wasn't laughing when I saw her drink them.

Ouch, that's something even more painful to drink, let alone EAT. :o

I hurt myself laughing until I cried over the guy I handed a mug with hundreds of coins in it.

He had a lot of chances to stop and ask "hey, does this beer look funny to you?" or "does your beer jingle?" but no. He just kept chugging down coin after coin, got through the first two hundred some-odd copper... starts in on the 80 or so silver, downs the 5 or 6 gold... and then starts in on the second stack of a few hundred copper coins and at this point I'm just sobbing.

*has painful sides* I wonder if you had killed him afterward would the coins be in his guts or just like that, vanished? I'm surprised that one can make them drink their own money, WILLINGLY.. I wonder what else crazy can be done that hasn't or has yet to be done.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking of just skipping from doing much ingame talking with my character and will head straight to some goblin land and see what I can do there.

So, I discovered something...interesting. It seems that NPCs are bad about not drinking from mugs unless they're either in a tavern, OR if they can't immediately put the item away in a pouch or backpack. So I decided to wait until night, steal the local law-giver's pouch so he'd have nowhere to store a little present I'd give him in the morning...

Why. Would. You. CHUG that shit?

Ramstom: *wakes up* "Ughhh, another crappy day. Better get drunk *gets the mug* ..what piss did got this time? Bleagh, fuck my life! *drinks the shoggoth slime from the mug*"

I literally just woke up, read that and laughed while thinking of ingame reasons why he did that.

isn't the background for adventurers is that your possessing a character who had a life and friends and you're forcing them to do murder?
Speak for yourself.
I mean toady did mention the whole crying bit as the unit themselves emoting over events they seen. Then there's the whole body swap with modding resurrection where if you bring your adventurer back to life you are suck right out of the now living body and jump into a random unit in the area while your old adventurer is alive and free from your control... up until you fast travel with them in your party.
that said I was quick to say do murder, as now you could just make them perform for people and craft sculptures.

Alright. Started off as a goblin language speaking Kobolth demigod (all skills L+5) outsider near a dwarven hillock from where I ran north to the fortress to get all the useful equipment and clothes especially for me flapping bare willy. I stole and put on some pig tail pants, socks, shoes, cape then once I switched the cape and socks with non-blue ones (as to fit with the bone gear I later on crafted) my character starts crying, however I was too busy going through dwarven shopkeepers belongings that I wasn't paying attention if my character did cry or not so they could be tears of joy. He didn't cry before when spawning bare nude with only a copper spear and a copper dagger.

Anyway it took a while to craft stuff from hoary marmots (backpack, waterskin, mastercrafted full bone armor and a mastercrafted amulet) and then I did some more iron weapon stealing and exchanged my failed exceptional bone carved armor pieces with a dwarven guard for a copper shield and copper cap. Cheated the shield to artifact platinum one later on after finally crafting my mastercraft iron two-handed sword which I turned into adamantine but not artifact as I want my character's name on the weapon to stay besides a kobolth like him is already in the "What in the name of Armok!" area with a copper halberd or a spear. :o

Now it's time for Drog Arstrukzudöl Tormuk Uzet to start killing something, those dwarves ought to have some info about nearby bandits and whatnot.

Negative stress is worse, then? I had 0 stress until I swapped bodies with a companion for 3 days, and now it stays at -6728 while everyone else is falling 5 figures into negs. I thought every adventurer's stress level was frozen, yet they always have tears.

If it really bothers you, Droggoth, maybe you can mod your character to cry tears of magma instead.

Well, that's not something I've seen before, having a victim skipping across the surface.

*is having trouble maintaining his breathing and laughter* Ow! My sides! This thread, no the whole site is a goldmine of hilarity.. so is the game. Tears of magma, I can already imagine it all... my character: "I shall use my tears to burn your lands to ash!" NPC1: "It is terrifying." NPC2: "I yield! I yield!" *later* NPC3: "It was inevitable."

I don't believe these characters are crying, there's no supporting evidence or expression for it. I believe it's just natural coat of basal tears, and anyone alive will have it.

I'll be sure to keep a lookout, gonna turn the greed to off too this time around just incase which may be a big factor.
