Local King drives back undead menace threatening his mines, but is unable to locate their source. Soldiers sent to investigate the mountains from whence the undead came return empty handed, if they return at all. The survivors of the expeditions report growing feelings of unease as they traveled, and a strange malevolent presence that prevented them from sleeping.
Seriously, how is that NOT the bulletin that gets every adventurer within a dozen leagues hot and bothered twixt the nethers?

Although we think we didn't exploded a bulk of them in the first volley, just a bulk of the mine itself.

That's weird. the beginning of the phrase said fire don't work against them.
Our siege stuff is based on fire and the chaos that can't be extinguished easily (Quote from last game)
I think Firepower can mean others things like stupid amounts of arrows, rocks falling, bullets from ak-47 or shit that can be thrown.
steel does not work against their dead bodies, nor fire is able to lick and consume their permafrozen flesh. Only by sheer numbers or awesome firepower, one can fell the Frostlings, your scholars say.

-1 warriors-monks (if we buy)

I didn't put the silver mine in the math. They will arrive somewhere in the end of the year. i think.
