Mafia / POLICE LINEUP!!

Sign up by posting a silly crime.

This can be something like "You are Spartacus." or "You farted in the elevator." or "You typed LOL but didn't really laugh." Once we have enough players (and a multiple of 3) these crimes will be collected and randomly sent to each player---it is possible, though unlikely that you will get the crime you submitted.

Once the game starts, I will state 3 player names, and a crime one of them committed. Ask them anything you want, and when a majority vote has been reached I will reveal the true criminal. The guessing team all gets a point if they are right(even if an individual did not vote with the majority, they still get credit). If they get it wrong, the criminal and the innocents each get a point. If I decide one of the line-up was lurking and not participating, I may revoke their point. Once all players have been called up then the final score will be tallied!

PMs are forbidden. Make all votes and vote changes in bold red font. (I'm a little slow reading, so any player made "votebox/list" will be appreciated!)
Once everyone has voted, the majority will decide who's GUILTY!

MAP KEY
Center doors are ARMORIES, the rest are AIRLOCKS. Arrowed tiles are TELEPORTERS.
Units from left to right(or top to bottom) are ENGINEER, SOLDIER, and FIREBAT.


Turns:
    • Please save all map changes in '.png' format for best quality.
    • Up to 4 players simultaneously. Choose an army color (distinct from white, black, red, and other armies) and claim an unowned (red) airlock by making the background your color. Joining only counts as one of your 2 moves.
    • Once per hour you can take a turn and perform 2 moves. Post "dibs". Then update the image with your actions and edit it into your post.
    • If you take longer than 15 minutes to do this, you can be skipped. (Same for joining players)
    • You can't take a turn twice in a row.
    • Your timer starts from the edit time of your last turn.
    • Units only move to adjacent spaces (up, down, left, right), and not diagonally. Units cannot move through other units or doors, or through walls and floors.
    • If the owner of an armory has no more airlocks or units, these doors become unowned.
    • If you were eliminated you can rejoin if there are any unowned (red) airlocks. Anyone can replace you before you get back!
    • If you eliminated a player, clear their pallet. Replace their units with the default red ones, clear their doodle pad, and make the background red. (They can easily copy everything back)

Special Rules:
    • Units may not be created until 1 hour after the 2nd player joins.
    • Capturing/disowning doors if they are behind floors or walls you don't own, is forbidden.
    • Units can't be created on the opposite side of a barrier as the door they came from. (Except your own)
    • If you spot an error from the last turn, feel free to correct it. If it would negativity effect them (like removing an action), 15 minutes is sufficient notice.

Engineer Moves:
    • Deploy up to 1 engineer per airlock you own, placing each on an empty space adjacent to a different one of your airlocks. When training engineers, you cannot increase your total army population(engineers, soldiers, and firebats) to more than 2 per airlock you own.
    • (once per unit) Choose an engineer that hasn't moved, you can move your engineer 1 space through a wall or floor.
    • (once per unit) Choose an engineer that hasn't moved. Build a wall in your army color. Your army can move through it. Do not build more walls than Airlocks you own.
    • (once per unit) Choose an engineer, change an adjacent enemy door into an unowned door.
    • (sacrifice unit) Choose an engineer, capture an adjacent unowned door. Remove your engineer.
    • (free action)(once per unit) Choose an engineer, destroy an adjacent unit or placed wall.
    • (replace unit) Choose an engineer who is adjacent to an armory you've captured, replace your engineer with either a soldier or firebat.

Soldier Moves:
    • Choose a soldier, move your soldier 1 space. If you had an adjacent soldier it can be moved to the 1st's former space, and if you had a 3rd soldier that was adjacent to the 2nd, it can be moved to its' former space, and so on.
    • (once per unit) Choose a soldier, change an adjacent enemy door into an unowned door.
    • (sacrifice unit) Choose a soldier, capture an adjacent unowned door. Remove your soldier.
    • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a soldier, destroy the first unit or enemy wall in a straight line to either the left or right. Hits your units and allies.
    • (replace unit) Choose a soldier who is adjacent to an armory you've captured, replace your soldier with either an engineer or firebat.

Firebat Moves:
    • Choose a firebat, move your soldier 1 space.
    • (sacrifice unit) Choose a firebat, capture an adjacent unowned door. Remove your firebat.
    • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a firebat, destroy all units and enemy walls on and between the adjacent 3 space to either the left or right. Hits your units and allies. Changes an enemy door into an unowned door.
    • (replace unit) Choose a firebat who is adjacent to an armory you've captured, replace your firebat with either an engineer or soldier.

Teleporter: When moving on a teleporter, move the unit to the opposite side of any other teleporter, but not the same one. A unit can't move after teleporting.

Unit Customization: Your army pallet can be edited. The wide box is also your private doodle pad. The ones in the map are shared(above planet). SFX and terrain damage are allowed, but either fix it in a second image or leave the game grid unchanged. Players may ignore/erase lingering effects when moving onto the tile.

I found a bird nest. I wanted to hatch and raise a pet bird. When I tried to get the nest, I knocked it down.

Just having various crushes on people that found me weird, even if I didn't 'do anything' bad, it just somehow makes you feel guilty. There was always at least 1 girl per school I hoped the cosmos would put us together, and I was just quiet as a mouse. Never tried, first girlfriend was literally someone who their bestfriend told me bluntly they liked me. Pleasantly found myself developing a crush on my own GF.

Not wanting to get diagnosed for obvious mental illness until I was 30.


Wow, thought this list would be long, but it turns out most of the bad stuff in my life I don't have guilt about. Nice.

H&H?
A 'Hurt & Heal' is a type of game where you typically take no more than one turn an hour, and perform two actions (Heal or Hurt 2 points, or do 1 point of each) to a list until all but one item is eliminated. In this game your two actions will be troop movements whether creating more, moving them, or attacking with them(or some combination).

Picture Wars?
In a Picture Wars game, you control a pixel art army and move them across a map to conquer land and defeat other armies. It is an informal game where storytelling is prioritized over competitiveness. Here what you can do is standardized to be competitive. Though units may still be customized and standard actions can be embellished with nonstandard flare.

Join:

  • Post, 'IN' and choose a unowned city with a red background to make your army color, the color you'll also use for any units you create in the future. Your army color should be distinct from red, white, or any chosen. Joining counts as 1 move.

  • There is a limit of 8 players, if there are no unowned cities then the game is currently full.

  • If you were eliminated you can rejoin in the same way.

  • At the start of the game, units may not be created until 1 hour after the 4th player joins.

Embellishment: (Optional)

  • You can customize the sprites of your units and buildings for your army. Please keep the same general silhouette as the default sprites to the left of the map for recognizably(should still atleast vaguely resemble them).

  • Units of the same type should be identical. You can flip, rotate, or slightly alter them to show facing and attacking.

  • You can add artistic flare, like explosions and gunfire, just do not modify others' sprites (or the space containing them) unless you are destroying them.

  • Do not modify the gridlines, or negative spaces. Do not modify the default sprites to the left of the map.

  • You may add terrain damage but players that move into those spaces can ignore/delete it.

Turns:

  • (sacrifice unit) Choose a soldier, capture an adjacent unowned building. Remove your soldier.

  • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a soldier, destroy an adjacent soldier.

  • (once per unit) Choose a soldier, destroy an adjacent jet.

  • Choose a soldier, destroy an adjacent tank; you must have another soldier adjacent to the tank.

  • (replace unit)(announce) Choose a soldier who is adjacent to an airport you've captured, replace your soldier with a jet. 48 hours must have passed, since this airport last produced a jet regardless of owner. There is no population limit for your jets! State that you created a jet and at which airport in bold red font.

  • (replace unit)(announce) Choose a soldier who is adjacent to a factory you've captured, replace your soldier with a tank. 48 hours must have passed, since this factory last produced a tank regardless of owner. There is no population limit for your tanks! State that you created a tank and at which factory in bold red font.

Tank Moves:

  • Choose a tank, move your tank 1 space. If you had an adjacent tank it can be moved to the 1st's former space, and if you had a 3rd tank that was adjacent to the 2nd, it can be moved to its' former space, and so on.

  • (free action) Choose a tank, change an adjacent owned building into an unowned building.

  • (free action) Choose a tank, capture an adjacent unowned building. Remove your tank.

  • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a tank, destroy an adjacent soldier aswell as all soldiers adjacent to that soldier even if they are allies or yours.

  • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a tank, destroy an adjacent tank.

  • (free action)(sacrifice unit) Choose a tank. While adjacent to a factory, regardless of owner, replace your tank with a soldier. The factory can produce the next tank immediately(starting next turn).

Jet Moves:

  • Choose a jet, you can move your jet aswell as any of your jets adjacent to them in a straight line in the same direction up to 2 spaces. You can use the 2 spaces to jump across soldiers, tanks, and buildings.

  • (free action) Destroy a soldier or tank that your jet passed over.

  • (free action) Make a building unowned that your jet passed over.

  • (free action)(once per unit) Choose a jet. Your jet destroys a jet that is adjacent in the same direction your jet moved if it moved. If your jet moves afterward you must move in the direction of the destroyed jet.

  • (free action)(sacrifice unit) Choose a jet. While adjacent to an airport, regardless of owner, replace your jet with a soldier. The airport can produce the next jet immediately(starting next turn).

Goal:

  • Victory Method 1: Capture every city!

  • Victory Method 2 & 3: Offer peace, or just bluff. By default each player is set to bluff. To update the Truce Intentions for your army, send me a PM with either the word 'peace' or 'bluff', in the event that 48 hours passes without activity the Truce Intentions for each remaining army will decide who wins. If anyone is set to bluff then a random bluffer will win! If no one is, then everybody wins! If you rejoin the battle after being eliminated your status will still be whatever you told me last.

Mewtwo:

> Stone Evolution: Permanently become Arcanine if Growlith lands a finishing blow. This evolution is optional, and the decision can be made again after each enemy KO Growlith makes.

Arcanine:

Articuno:

(Passive) You also win if you get to 30 HP.

Pichu:
(Passive) Volt Tackle: (After 1 hour) Can go a second time, even if no one else posted. If you go a second time, take 1 damage.
(Passive) Charm: If there are at least 3 surviving Pokemon, the Pokemon with the most health cannot use a move that would hurt you.
(Passive) Evolution: Permanently become Pikachu at 20 health.
Pikachu:

The Poke Doll cannot be frozen or burned. Ditto loses any transformation upon their return. (Poke Doll cannot gain more than 1 HP, Ditto is cured of Burn or Freeze when Poke Doll is used)

Meowth:

Persian:
Fury Swipes: Hurt 4 the last Pokemon to act, if they hurt you on their turn.

That's a long list, most of them I didn't know, but several I did. All those names have a red mark, ban.

It works! A lot racist crap, a lot of violent threats, that shit is gone, good! But I...think we can do better. I have said and done some stupid shit in my past, held on to some ugly ideas that effected how I behaved. I've even been "canceled" which seemed like a big deal at the time, but time moved on. People change, James Gunn has probably tweeted shit 100x worse than what many or most, of these posters said. Whether you agree or not with him getting rehired by Disney and Marvel, his sense of humor has evolved more tact, his behavior has changed with time.

Isn't it time we give some of these guys another shot? I know at least one that wishes they could return, I bet they are not the only one that would do a lot with another opportunity.

The forces of men waged war endlessly among themselves. High above, storm clouds darkened the sky. Above their fury was the calm sky. The cloud carpet was penetrated by mighty Mount Olympus, where the fury below was echoed in its' halls. Zeus had decided to destroy mankind, abandon their failures and start anew. Poseidon demanded they be left, but changed to sea folk, as the oceans cover the land. Hades wanted slaves, let them toil and build monuments of worship. Aphrodite demanded everyone stop arguing, surely there could be a compromise. Hermes suggested they continue to be left alone, to let them decide their own fate. Hercules demanded they intervene, they only needed guidance. Zeus had had enough, and when they continued to argue he grew angry. And yet they didn't back down. Order gave way to chaos, and soon The War of the Gods would be started over something so trivial, as The Fate of Man.

Rules
1) If a unit would gain more than their starting health, stop at their starting health. Units with no health are removed permanently.
2) A unit with a hurt power cannot use it on themself.
3) You can't go again until someone else has posted.
4) Please support less popular units to make things more interesting.

Unit powers:

• Poseidon: Heal self 3
• Hades: add '(Disabled)' after a unit's name
• Aphrodite: Auto-win at post #100 if still alive

My focus has shifted to running cross-forum games, simply games that have players on multiple forums at once. This has some difficulties but also some benefits, one of which is to facilitate the ability to meet and interact with people you normally wouldn't. I'll keep my SUMMER schedule updated here, and let me know if you might want to participate in one.

Panic Race 2021 - TBA (0/2+)

Game info:

• The Grid: A boardgame RPG where you become a random unit from many different grid based boardgames, videogames, and more! PvP and sometimes PvE. Hall of fame.

• Panic Race: A racing boardgame where you must choose at what speed to handle corners and dodge attacks.  Modify your vehicle and attack. PvP and Pv(Audience). Hall of fame.

• Panic Arena: A card game/boardgame RPG that permits very customizable actions that are restricted to specific color coded cards. PvP and Pv(Audience). Hall of fame(via Champion card added to deck permanently).

• Iron Gladiator: A card game that sees you build and battle with your own towering mech in 1v1 battles. PvP. Hall of fame.

• SquadCraft: An RTS inspired boardgame that let's you design your own units, then recruit them in battle to defend your portal. You must harvest resources with workers to summon them. PvP. Hall of fame.

Sage Preston was an avid Pokemon GO player, often being told to be more careful. He almost had collected every Pokemon, he only needed one more. It was something that hikers had occasionally spotted in the hills nearby on Route 46. He impressed himself by how much more physical that playing this game had made him, he never could have imagined himself out in nature like this. Yet here he was, and there it was. His battery was low, he needed to swap for another powerpack. He had to be fast before he missed his chance, but he fumbled the pack into the wet leaves.

As he dug around frantically for it, he was totally oblivious to the ledge nearby. His mud soaked sneakers kept slipping and still he didn't notice the ledge while he searched for the battery. Until he saw where it was, and reaching for it, disaster struck as the ground beneath him gave way completely. His last conscious observation was of falling...

She was tough as nails to everyone under her command, but underneath her tough-guy facade she was full of pride, watching them become everything she always knew they could. She was obsessive with their well-being, always controlling the missions beyond her station. She spent countless hours in the simulations, going over worst-case scenarios. The AI began to adapt to her in order to increase the challenge, and even began including human opponents. There seemed to be one that was reoccurring, the file name for the entity was Aisha Welch, and she was fierce.

Contreras would often pull off the simulation goggles in a sweat, breathing laboriously. She took a break from the sims for a time. More and more the sirens went off, space had managed to once again produced some new kind of terror. One day while her squad was responding to an abduction, she had an encounter like nothing that had come before. With grim efficiency, the fighting was quickly over---she had finally given into her teammates' protests and gave them the space they deserved, and the results showed. But after everyone had reported in and were making their way back to the dropship, Contreras found herself alone. She found she had lost all communication with her team. The air was thick in the Bayous. The fog danced around the weird vegetation, and more and more Contreras became certain that the mist concealed one more invader. She called out to her squadmates, again and again. She grew more and more desperate...her pistol rapidly seeking a mark that surely eluded her. Then she saw it, and her heart sank...the limp bodies of her squadmates, and standing beside them was...was...

Was it a trick? No. It was her! It was pure spine crawling horror...Brought to life by some unfathomable dark magic, made flesh and blood. It was Riya Contreras! And by her feet was Aisha's beloved squadmates, forever still. The strange alien plants felt like they were closing in, and she couldn't breath. Then, in a blinding green pulse everything became nothing.

Hugo Everett was a common thief. His friend Jimmy always said that he had no sense for his own safety. One day a gypsy came to town, and danced in the market like a pink pixie. She floated and swayed in her foreign dress, and she seemed to be dancing just for him. She was devastatingly beautiful, but more important to Hugo was that she was covered from head to toe in jewelry.

Later that night under a full moon he snuck in to her carriage. The threshold was marked by odors of exotic perfumes and incense. She was fast asleep, and he would not make a sound. As he hastily lined his pockets he took notice of the gypsy's many strange objects and talismans. He was just as surprised at how stupid his distracted state was: Of course a wondering gypsy would accumulate such baubles, it's in their nature to do so. Yet still his eyes lingered on them, especially a crystal ball. The last thing he saw was the gypsy's reflection...

Two equestrians made their way through a valley. King Izabelle Horne and Madame Trinity Chandler, her ace knight number one, and monster hunting specialist. Among the sun bathed hills, they took in the rich air of the fields surrounding them, now far and away from the harsh desert where they had met. The desert where they had encountered the giant snake that had designed to make a meal of them. Instead, thanks to a hurried alliance, they overcame the beast, and escaped the slain serpent's domain. Then, they had traveled across the land together, crossing paths with wizards and merchants. They had continued on towards the lush mountains where they prepared themselves for whatever this cruel land had in store for them next...

As quickly as the thunderstorm had rolled in, the floods were upon them like a raging bull. The riders raced to higher elevation, but in the wind and the rain and confusion they had gotten separated...
