Aye. you should have dropped in some weapons for the colossus to use, being a [EQUIP] and all that, arena mode shows they scrub up pretty well using them with their natural strength sending things flying. Also hydras can be tamed and bred, so that was kind of a waste of a rare mega-beast.

He wouldn't necessarily get his hands on another one, or even one that was the opposite gender. Besides, I fully believe that taming the HFS is a worthy use for pretty much anything. Especially if you expend the very last megabeasts in the world to do so *whistles nonchalantly*

Decided to put the HFS to the test, since I had a Bronze Colossus and a Hydra in a pair of cages. The hydra didn't take too long for them to beat, and then the Bronze Colossus held his own for a long time, despite being covered in blood and amethyst chips and salt. Then I opened the drawbridges, letting loose 60 cave crocodiles. They cleaned up what was left of the weaker clowns, and then I let loose a constant volley of four ballistae for about ten minutes, cutting down the last of them. No dwarven blood was spilt in the combat against the HFS, though some do keep wandering into the slaughter chamber.

What happened to the colossus?

Just having a plain list of tokens like that is fairly useless[...]

thank you for your concern but how is your interjection related to the question at all? if you don't mind i would prefer answers to questions i actually ask, neither to questions you think i might encounter while doing whatever you presume nor in such a patronizing manner.

thank you very much.

How did you come even remotely close to this conclusion?

Hey... Would I be able to make giant bees, that can be milked for honey?

You won't be able to brew the honey, unless you make a reaction to put the honey in barrels, because dwarves milk into buckets, and need the reagent to be in a barrel to brew.

I was actually thinking of having them give me unrefined honey, then use a barrel at the farmers workshop to turn it into a barrel of honey.

Yeah that should work

This music comes to mind.
If DF had music I'd imagine that could be a boss theme for them, with this as their "lair" ambience.

Sorta wish there was a way to have more representations or descriptors of what a particular megabeast/night creature does to their victims, but I think the Lust creatures are disgusting enough - the reality of what they'd do to their captured prey is much worse than any word you could think of. Sorta like what happens to SCP-231-7, if you know what I'm referencing.

I'm pretty sure 110-Montauk is worse than whatever Bay12 could come up with, and that's saying something. We'd mercy kill elves so they wouldn't have to endure that.

Anyone know how to make a creature drop a porcelain mug on death?
I know it works like
Code: [Select]
[ITEMCORPSE:something:MUG:INORGANIC:PORCELAIN]but I don't know what that 'something' is.

Ok, it won't happen fast, it won't happen pretty, but by the power invested in me as a novice modder, I'm going to try my best!
