Why won't toady unite with URR creators and UrW ones and some others to create the ultimate game? If they'll combine forces, they'll do wonders.

It's very easy now. Everything's automated, you literally don't have to move a finger. You'll have a huge fortress in no time.

After like 50 years in the game one 1 day turn takes about 8 minutes to resolve. How is one supposed to play this game??!

But that might have been (initially/more recently) different from the backstory I recollect. I can never keep track of these things.
I guess he might have been Bavarian, but was he born before WW1 or during it?

I want to play exactly like The Sims but with being able to actually do my job in the game, even if I am a farmer or a soldier or a clerk and its very repetitive, I still want it. And I want a small beer after work, to spend some time with my friends and colleagues from work, a date, a family, a home to build for me and my children to live in.
Personally, I don't mind if my work in DF is repetitive - even if I will play the clerk, I still want documents, procedures, to sign different documents, to send them, if I am collecting taxes I want tax tables to know how much to take etc. Might seem boring, but I like it.
That's my ultimate DF dream.

Professor was born in 1934. Anyone was born before? If its an austrian duke it has to be 1900s or 1910s. I remember a scene when he arrived in a car and was wearing a blue uniform, and was shocked that his baby was a monster. I can't remember who that was.

Will we ever get multi-tile creatures? It is a bit weird that dragon takes one tile like a bee does. And with ships, a leviathan that attacks it needs to have its multi-tile tentacles to destroy it.
