Greetings comrades! Soviet Bear here today to teach you about enemy. Of course, enemy is filthy capitalist spy seeking to overthrow glorious communist regime.

Devil secret of capitalism is initially learned in worldgen and engraved upon a slab. Subsequent said dwarves become filthy capitalist spy who seek to overthrow fortress from within. How can greedy devils threaten might of glorious communism I hear you say?

Well, first, they murder you in sleep. Second, capitalist spy try to seduce weak communist dwarf to become capitalist spy as well. Only way to strengthen mind of weak communist is to perform loyal duty to Party and shout 'Glory to Mother Mountainhome!' in dining room every day. Third, when the number of capitalist spy is too many, they hatch secret plot to overthrow glorious communist regime. This is why capitalist suspects cannot be allowed to congregate together in proximity, and capitalist spy suspect must be eliminated immediately.

You guys are great. XD And more reason to have melee guards patrolling the halls where suspect dorfs can interact with non-suspect. It will be funny though, because every single dorf will have armor and a weapon at some point due to all must have military training, but if the capitalists are new arrivals, they might not have such and get slaughtered when they try to start attacking and get fifty armored and armed and trained communists attacking them right back. XD Ok. I need to go and edit the first post with the new rules and the addition of the (incompleteish) mod. I WILL make the stalinium reaction work! Although, should I increase the chance to something higher than 50%?

Riding animals is a thing that doesn't really work well at all. Dwarves can't ride them no matter what, and even when invaders ride them in they're kinda bugged.

A grizzly bear petvalue is 500, 200 more than a black bear.

Grizzly bears are trainable, and mount exotic, unlilke the black bear who are just natural.
Grizzly bears are less roaming value at 2 while black bears are 5.

Both are found in biome taiga and temperate forest, curious beast eater and guzzler.

Grizzly bears have body size baby of 20k, child at 1 year of 100k, and adult at 2 year of 200k.
Black bears have body size baby of 12k, child at 1 year of 60k, and adult at 2 year of 120k.

Grizzly bears has a multiply value of x3 where as black bears have x2.

Polar bears has a pet value of 750, 250 more than grizzly bears.
Polar bears are also trainable, mount exotic, curious beast eater and guzzler.
Polar bears are found in glacier and tundra biomes.
Polar bears are tagged as BORNCARV meaning carnivorous? unlike the grizzly bear.
Polar bears have body size baby of 40k, child at 1 year of 200k, and adult at 2 year of 400k.

Hmm, Polar bears has a tag of CHILD:1 unlike grizzly and black bears.  Does this mean grizzly and black bears go from baby to adult? While polar bears to go though baby, child then adult in size?

Gallop, Canter, and Trot, swim, and Crawl speed increase from black to grizzly to polar bear.

Grizzly have Stance Climber at Climbing skill of 15.  Polar bears do not have climbing skills.

Both grizzly and polar bear have innate swimming.

Polar bears has a multiply value of x3


Giant Black Bear is basically 904% body size increase: 108k, 542k, 1.08m
Giant Grizzly Bear is basically 850% body size increase: 170k, 850k, 1.7m

I think there was "realistic art" in USSR, it involved farmers working and such. So art is still allowed, but it should be about labor.

Easy. Any named dwarf with incidental skills in Writing, Reading, Art or Poetry is automatically classified an Intellectual and considered Suspect. The only way to prove their dwarf's loyalty to the Party is to write a freeform passage, poem, song, drawing or stanza praising the Glorious Party and Mother Mountainhome. Failure to comply would of course lead to the suspected dwarf being sent to the GULAG. Upon complying with their Duty to the State, said named dwarf will be permitted to continue their existence as an Party Intellectual, albeit under the tight scrutiny by the Party and its related members for the production of materials or speech considered Seditious and Harmful to the Greater Good of the People. In the case of such reports, the named dwarf is once again required to perform their Duty to the State to prove their unwavering loyalty to the Glorious Cause.

That would be good, but we would also have to make them a common domestic, or set dwarves to tame anything in the area. I forget exactly what the tag is, but it's the things that elves have. We would need to do this so that the Mountain home has access to bears for us to bring. Then we can mess around with the descriptions and such to have it say that they are "fighting for communism" and such.

Muwahahaha. I'll go poke around in it when the update comes out.

By Comrade Armok! It iz brilliant comerade! The Kit-1 LIVEAMMO Fortress Defense System shall be made! (Living Intelligent Vehicular Ejected Animals Maiming Motherhome Opponents). Also probably going to be useful in executing the Enemies of State by hurling them at sieges to give one last fight. If they survive 12 sieges, they may be allowed in to fight with actual weapons and armor as simply Suspect. It shall be placed to activate just ahead of the entrance to the Parade Grounds.

I think that they'll be fine, as long as we don't have too many vermin eaters. I had a dwarf stuck in on a patch of land between a river and the border for like half a year, and he was fine. There was a lot of "job canceled:hunting vermin", but he made it through with no problems. They're much more likely to die of thirst than starvation. We should do some experimentation first though, to see how far we can string them along before they start to have problems.

No clue. It'd be hard to keep track of though, or is there an automatic way in the vanilla game to forbid food without needing to check every five seconds? Like a 'forbid everything in this stockpile' hot-key.

Why not use DFHack? There's all sorts of useful commands in it.

I'm going to be doing the update the moment it's out. So no DFHack. That's why I'm asking about vanilla.
