So I just have to say - I don't understand the appeal of this series. The fights are lauded - but they seem to be endurance matches of pattern recognition, unforgiving timing, and "if you screw up just a few times, you lose." I can see the endocrine effects being a bit part of this, when an area is finally completed but...Being useless there, as i do not properly understand neither what is that i like or why you describe impressions from a game in chemicals.
Am I missing something, or is there more to it than that? Is it really just about the adrenaline and dopamine?
Can say that for me appeal is best melee combat out of pretty much everything i played (particularly in DS2), but can't say what makes me think it is the best. It is not learning patterns, that's for sure. One thing, at least, is precise control over a character, compared to, say, Witcher 3. Also, huge variety of weapons and builds together with combat make me keep coming back and clock hundreds of hours in those games.
How deep are you into the RPG maker horror fandom if I may ask? Dreaming Mary's one of the big classics so I'm surprised to hear that you haven't heard of it.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then boy are you in for a treat. There's a whole host of games like Dreaming Mary that you'll get to discover. I personally recommend Lilly's Well. Don't google it cause of spoilerific images, you can just download it for free on steam.
Though they, after a 5 years long hiatus, apparently announced a third one. Commenters estimate that it will appear somewhere or another in 1-2 years.
:Our Admin is in Ukraine, which is currently being invaded by Russia.Internet not down yet, not really have anything better to do yet, which may change by the evening for all i know. I'll switch turn interval to few days and give somebody else admin password so that game wouldn't hang up in the air in case something happens. To you, actually.
I don't want to speculate or put words in anyone's mouth. Hopefully MCreeper will be able to update us.
But the internet might be down, and they may have more important things to do.
Chernobyl has been seized and the powerplant staff taken hostage. Russia has also formally demanded what is effectively unconditional surrender from Ukraine, as Ukraine officially confirms they've taken the Antonov Airport that's relatively close to Ukraine. Russia is in the process of landing further forces there for an assault on Kiev in the hours to come.Oh boy. And i thought this will take three months at least. Looks like my thoughts of warfare are late by a century.

No death run completed on fourth try. Two tries ended in Iron Citadel, one at Earthen Peak. Still have trouble making a female character that looks like female rather than trap wannabe, altough this one is relatively decent. Behold, a tank!
More than that, yar-harred Warhammer 2 comes in one big package, all dlcs, Mortal Empires campaign and all. Update time to add new dlcs varies, up to few months. You asked for this.I'd be pretty interested to see what pirating 3 games worth of inter-linked DLCs looks like. Pirate the base game, sure, no sweat. Pirating the complete Total Warhammer experience? Is that even possible?Dunno why it wouldn't be, yar-haring DLC isn't exactly a new practice even when there's a pile of it. If someone can get the game data and crack/share it, that's all it takes. Most DLC isn't exactly some kind of magic devil trinket, pirating it works just like pirating any other sort of data.

It defines how the universe works. It is made up of various "runes" i.e. rules or laws. Various factions spring up around the Elden Ring, with different opinions on it.Kinda curious about that one, but don't want to watch the video for fear of spoiling myself too much. Probably i read too much into the phrase, but it reminded me of Sunless Skies. In it there is a revolutionary society who view stars, who created and uphold most of universe's laws, as most terrible of tyrants and wish for an end of them all along with end of all laws. Nothing so radical there, i suppose?
) and telling people to not do drugs on subscriber count celebration streams (like hell they are worth it, raising mental darkness so high). And the ending was her quitting streaming and fucking me all day.
Thought the project was dead in the water, but some searching turned up a semi-active twitter and appearance of active work on patreon (most posts paywalled there). And they have a hour-long demonstration video from ye olde 2020. I poked around in it for a bit and very much like what i see. However janky gameplay turns out again, it will be worth it for art alone.
). Original game hardly lacked in art department, so much so that this thing appears to barely change anything without comparing side to side, besides new cutscenes, of course. And new music? By the way, i feel like i heard something strikingly similiar to first 10 seconds of the trailer not too long ago, but where was it? Umineko? Touhou? This, perhaps
I know just the man for the job, but there is no chance in hell he will make a playtrough of this particular game, of course.

Fuuuck. What's with those hordes of indies everywhere? Have they been set to higher strength than the default?I swear it ain't so! And they look normal to me too.
