Experiment with applying more breath-weapon to an already undead ant.

you call an ant out of the hill and breathe on it again. unfortunately, all it does is kill it.

try to command the anthill to continue nourishing the hopefully still alive queen and have them start the process of digging out an underground lair for you. this will likely take a year, but oh well.

1 mm³ chunks of dirt moved by each ant would mean they would need to move 1.000.000.000 chunks of dirt for one cubic meter. there are 20-600k ants in an anthill let's say we have a small to average one with 60000 zombified , and they would be moving the chunks in about 5 minutes each, which would take on average 57 days for one cubic meter. we need more ants.
How about we assign ants to dig around in the soil and look for odd materials such as metal and ore. Essentially, they would be looking for treasure underground. Might not be effective unless we find somewhere distinct to look for stuff, like a roadside or the remains of a campfire.

You attempt to zombify the foal again and succeed tremendously. You breathe out your breath, covering the foal in necromantic energies, and transforming it totally. +self aware zombie +2 breath weapon skill.

This time, try building up your breath weapon in your chest explicitly before expelling it. Actually, try to build it up stronger each breath over several normal breaths before expelling it as an attack.
