Levitate myself and the crate to the top of my tower. Bubble the crate, and set it to float above the next country over's capital. Then have the bubble pop. Watch the mayhem through my magic mirror while eating dragon pepper flavored popcorn.

Use Telekinesis. Carefully place a few bottles at a time into a sturdy cabinet with magic resistant runes carved within. Alphabetize the potions based on power and lethality.

Yes, you are right, thanks for clearing that up. So if we get a hardholder, we'll set up our adventure there. Other than that, everything else should be good.

If we get a hard holder, then we can start in the hardhold. As for the Maestro D, she could provide a nice tavern area, or have a more mobile base, like a series of buses or a tavern on a train. Just some ideas. I encourage people with gangs to RP as their gang members even if their main character isn't around. They can get more involved in the story, and cause more drama. Drama is good!

I'm thinking for our first outing, I should have the mysterious Master of Ceremonies group you all up in one location, in one way or another. Afterwards, I think we should go with the classic Magnificent Seven story type. Just for this first mission, to warm up my MCing. What do you think?

Let's, uh, give this a shot.

I think I did it right. Dunno what the basic moves are, though. Never mind, found 'em.

Real question time: what exactly is the roll? d10? d12? d20?
If there are a few experienced people you can pick the game up quick from watching them.  It is very narrative focused so if you want your character to grab the bar stool and smash it over Joey's head because he is being an ass, just say so.

Also the character sheets reference has basic moves common to all characters near the end.

2d6 for all rolls. 7-9 is partial success, 10+ is success.

The beginning tag to it says it's not beginner friendly, but go ahead and give it a shot. It's not like I'm any more experienced :)

FNIFF HAS TAKEN A "SHARP" CHARACTER. NO OTHER "SHARP" CHARACTER CAN BE CHOSEN. ONLY ONE PERSON CAN CHOOSE A "COLD" CHARACTER,  AND ONLY ONE PERSON CAN CHOOSE A "HOT" CHARACTER. SAME APPLIES TO "HARD" AND "WEIRD" CHARACTERS, ALSO, BUT THEY HAVE A 2 PLAYER LIMIT.

Lovely to make your acquaintance. My sheet's done; does it meet your standards?

Yep, looks good, you are in.

Hello, newb Master of Ceremonies here, looking for some players who'd be interested in some Apocalypse World, a fairly rules light, narrative heavy RPG. I don't think a Rulebook is necessary to play, all you need is a playbook and a love for all the classic apocalyptic tropes! Anyways, here are the books, if you'd like to read them, just click on the links.

If you're on mobile you can find a free zip viewer in the App Store.

And now, the characters! The 1 player/2 player thing means that only 1/2 players can pick from that column. I noticed that the characters are built with a certain stat in mind, and I'd like to have a more balanced group.

Cool: 1 player

The setting will be built by us, but in general, nuclear war broke out in 1992, and it ravaged the world, destroying life and corrupting all things with nuclear fallout. We begin 34 years later, in 2036.

You are trapped in the orang-ish area, trapped by a thick, purplish orange super storm that refuses to let you leave. Whenever you try, the storm becomes violent, and things are hard to see. Afterwards, you just end up somewhere within its borders, along with other, weirder happenings. Other than that, there's not much else to say until the characters are made.
