I still want ECCM and ECM of my own. I know I can have bigger MFCs to counter it but I cannot for my BFCs because they are max size at the moment.

Will still be important for my stealth ships (okay right now stealth is simply 50% thermal sig with no active sensors but still) in the future.

Unfortunately the only missiles I have that I know outrange their AMMs are size 8 ASMs (193m km) all of my other missiles are 41m km or less. I guess I could try and make a 84m km anti-FAC missile.
But after removing their last ship and finding out what exactly they still have. Oh and they have rank 40 ECM, so I'll be researching ECCM before attacking their base.

Oh right. Yeah I know where that precursor base is and the freighter is going anywhere but inside that things range. Reckon I need something like 140~ shots per 5 seconds to have a chance of getting close (assuming it has ammo).

I know what CIWS is for and that its not for warships and such. That is a freighter and cannot use actual weapons yet it might come under fire if part of a convoy during actual wartime.

I do have a Gauss turret with similar capabilities as the CIWS turret that I put on actual warships instead.

Okay this is odd.
Code: [Select]
Hunt class Superfreighter    40 900 tons     158 Crew     869.6 BP      TCS 818  TH 1500  EM 0
1833 km/s     Armour 1-105     Shields 0-0     Sensors 1/1/0/0     Damage Control Rating 1     PPV 0
MSP 13    Max Repair 75 MSP
Intended Deployment Time: 36 months    Spare Berths 0
Cargo 25000

300 EP Commercial Ion Drive (5)    Power 300    Fuel Use 7.07%    Signature 300    Exp 5%
Fuel Capacity 1 250 000 Litres    Range 77.8 billion km   (491 days at full power)

Armstrong-Craig CIWS-120 (2x8)    Range 1000 km     TS: 12000 km/s     ROF 5       Base 50% To Hit
Active Search Sensor MR39-R100 (1)     GPS 3600     Range 39.6m km    Resolution 100

This design is classed as a Commercial Vessel for maintenance purposes

Why is it telling me that is a commercial active sensor? Not going to actually use an active sensor on a freighter of course but none of the others show when I click "commercial only".

Well Hopefully the 27750t wreck was the gauss one because the AMM platform is clearly still there. No contact other than a 9750t sensor ship (probably armed, passive contact only, also about twice as fast as their missile ships) and I plan on bringing a lot of AM weapons for the attack.

They might be out of ammo, I know they don't have any ASMs left (and just threw 5x as many AMMs instead) but whatever lobbed 71 strong AMM volleys did stop firing after about 3 minutes and their warships attempted to ram my destroyers instead of grab more missiles.

Well according to this page http://aurorawiki.pentarch.org/index.php?title=Sorium_Harvester they do get upgraded with technology. So I would assume yes.

Bioengineering would help buy some time too for cooling sun. While also making it easier to grab some of the other worlds.

Fuel woes are why I dislike military engines, but if you get lucky on the sorium its simply supplying the fleet rather than constantly looking for more sorium deposits.

How and why would one squeeze a liquid? I do have drinks if I want them still, would be in the sad thread if I had nothing to drink and no cheese.

As to the sleeping aliens thing, probably just kill each other some more. Probably whichever group refuses to surrender whatever it takes for diplomacy against those who did surrender it.

Pretty much dead center of the photo. Small brown furred rodent, Dormouse to be precise. Dormice being endangered in the UK.

You can see the vertical branch with graffiti behind? Look almost directly below that. Small round ball of fur.

Pretty sure it does actually have a bug whereby it only shows one page of results when searching the subforums, or at least I heard a while back that was the case.

Certainly doesn't show results chronologically. I searched for "Cat" and the first page of results randomly jumped back and forth from 2017 to 2014 then 2009 and back to 2016.

Or complain about slowdowns because "Its a low graphics game why is it slow on my rig with a 1080ti and an {insert really bad CPU here}?".

Well we do have some space marines, and the alpha legion might like them as tributes later. And we could just zerg rush the genestealers with lots of cultists, lack of skill doesn't matter with enough bodies thrown in.

We could also go with the old staple, Tentacles!, so long as the guys with them have loose clothing that can hide tentacles (and the other mutations that come with them) it should be okay. And besides, the ordos will at this rate still go after the genestealers before us.

Perhaps we could see if there are any Orgrin(sp?) around to recruit? while they stand out they also wouldn't draw other attention while still being tough enough to do something about a genestealer (or carry a heavy stubber on their own).

Or we could try and get something with better AP, runic blades might be within our abilities and would beef up cultists in HTH.

And then there is grenades/molotovs which may help dealing with groups of foes and hamper a genestealer too.

Well there is the bunzone (happy thread) thread a little further down the page. IIRC it used to be called the "things that made you happy today" thread.

And upon checking yep, it was indeed called that.
