Khaiden uses his aura sight to make sure the monster's unlife is over. If it is, then he tries to locate the other souls again.

Khaiden pulls out his gun and takes aim at center mass. He positions himself so a charge through the group is unlikely to hit him. He will fire when it is within range.

Khaiden keeps moving slowly backward and then tries to pull out as much of the creature's vital energy as possible, but not absorb it. (Arcanism/Necromancy/Soul 2)
