Lliuk: I'm going to address the issue of becoming some sort of leader for these guys, and learning about their past, later. I'll address the fact that as a demon, I have insane resistance to fire, pretty much immunity actually. I could just waltz through a forest fire no problem. And my memories are still intact. I'm going to take a while to check up on the history of these demons.... it's rather odd...

Edit2: How did they determine that Erin Lliuk was a human-turned-demon? Did he tell them, or did they read his journal, or what? Is there a distinguishing detail about demons that originated as other types of sentients, or do demons have the ability to see the past?


Mix of journal peeking and a reaction to the transformation ritual. I've been playing a lot of masterwork recently, But i'm going back to axosepindas.

Also, Lliuk becoming a ruler wasn't even intended. It just happened randomly to be honest.

Question: Can we... NOT allow firey things to show up as diplomats or caravan members? Because my fledgling succubus fort just died because the caravan from home brought a fire imp. Like, I can't even play past summer, because every damn time something sets the whole map on fire and kills half my fort. Half the time the ambassador herself is firey and walks straight in, immolating everything on her way to the office.

Micare II,"Rule Oppressor" : It has been revealed that our Lliuk is, or at least WAS, a human. They were transformed in the experimental transformation to "See if this things working". Oddly enough, due to their efficiency, their contribution, and the fact that they're Likely to know more about the world than they seem... They won the election for the Spire "Matriach". Or in truth, the Spire prime minister. Out Dungeon matron's logs have been passed down to Lliuk, along with the truth about our journey, as it has been passed on to me as well. I shall defend Lliuk with my life, until someone new is elected.

THats my errorlog. I'm using the most recent version, Dfhack on. default tileset, and I changed a few settings, as in putting all the random creatures on.

I only know of crashes that happen at the moment you press 'e' to embark. Reembarking fixes it. I know that some people have crashes on long worldgens, but thats because there are so many civs. Reducing the number of civs, the size or the world or making a shorter history fixes that as well.

I'm not aware of any ingame crashes. It has been a long time since I saw any reports about them, and in the test-forts I play I dont have any.

How Do I re-embark?

Mine is catching scum, lynching or by action (although I can't kill and while I can inspect/random-other-action-that-is-nonkill), and in general have fun while going all power-silly and having a lighthearted approach in the daygame while in the same aiming to forward my wincondition. :P

Achive whatever Wincon I have. That's how you win, of course.
And that wincon is obviously not town, since if it was you would have told us. So what is it?

I would like to note, for future reference, that this looks like a bandwagon on me. Mainly because hector's voting me because reasons(which seems reasonable), but the other two are only going with "I agree with hector". I'd bet at least one of the three people voting me are scum.
Seriously, I think this absolute avoidance of bandwagoning (and taking bandwagoning as the highest level of scumtell) actually hurts town play. People see someone agree with someone else and automatically go "bandwagoning scum!" Sometimes you just see a case and agree with it, and that's totally okay.

FoU, Tiruin, UXLZ, TBF, TDS, fillipk: Y'all know how to play. Why aren't you voting for anyone?

If I said that wincon, someone would assume i'd be lying anyways.
