Bernard notices you return, "Ah, done already? I'll set ya up then" He snaps his fingers, the note flashes for a second and then he pins it to a board behind him labeled "Active Quests", "Yer tome should track it now, just find the page inside and it should be copied there, once it's dun, it should have a green tick, come back when you get it done. Oh, and the directions should be there too. If you dont mind piling up your debt a little, i can set ya up with some rations and water skins."

From what Lawrence can read, the dungeon clear reward is five silver, the owner of the quest is calling for the clear of a dungeon near his farmhouse before it becomes a problem. The hobgoblin quest seems to come from someone who was driven from their home by three hobgoblins and is paying six silver for their house back. The final quest is by the mayor of Gremia, who has had complaints about giant rats in the sewer, he's paying three silver for the pest control.

Thaddeus knows that hobgoblins are large orc-goblin crossbreeds, hulking muscle and little brainpower.

Bernard nods with satisfaction at your choice of weapon before moving onto the board on the far end of the wall, "'Ere we have the bounty board, where the folk of this area put their troubles and woes to steel. I'd recommend taking a look at quests at your rank, if ya need some extra hands just take a look at the roster board, although if you stick as this group you are now, ya shouldn't have any problems. And with that, i leave you to your own devices." Bernard gives you all a nod and leaves back to the main section of the inn. The board in front of you is plastered with notes, although chaotic, with notes being pinned covering eachother, they seem to be sorted into rank, with F quests being at the bottom and S-SSS at the top, although these are few and far between. F quests seem to range between anything such as minor basement clearing of overgrown pests to join assaults on bandit forts, if there's anything in particular you want to search for.

Bernard leans against a weapons rack "So as a welcome gift we'll let ya select some gear to take with you, although not armor ya can take a mace with a shield, a staff, a bow with a quiver and a handful of arrows, a sword or two daggers. Of course if we just let adventurers to walk out with their tome just to die horribly, once you've decided just follow me over to the board." He says before walking off again.

The room you enter is a lot bigger than you expected, the vast area in front of you is filled with adventurers, weapon and armor racks, tables and chairs with parties of adventurers conversing in front of tankards, maps and notes. The room even has a indented area in the middle with folk sparring, the level of skill being shown ranges from partners to partners, and at the end of the room is a large cork board covered in notes pinned to it. Bernard waves you over to the area with armor and weapons.

Bernard returns after tending to some other customers, still polishing a glass, "If you're done with your skills i'll be waiting for ya in the next room". He leaves the bar and enters through a door on the far side of the room while another member of the Inn's staff takes his place.

When each of you select a skill the words seem to fizzle before a few strands of what you guess is blood attatches to you from the words, it merges with your body and fades from the page. For a couple of seconds nothing seemed to have changed before a mild burning sensation begins to spread through your body from where the strand touched.
