I see beast soldiers as the way of the future. We updated magic and gear. Might as well do the soldier too. With marine mammals can have swim teams to ambush their boats. Alsoo could make things really interesting innjungle melee. With time and more combinations can have even more interesting soldiers.

As for the styles in game with that techblust.

1: Alliances so two teams of three nations. They design/ fund/ redo their country efforts and die rolls for results in theatres of war.

2: The original version. Each player controls one whole country in a alliance. And development points are earned by game play on a weekly basis.

Cost issues: Depends. As both have logistics so can afford more stuff. In general the more powerful something is. More expensive. Like only three super units a theatre pre nation at a time ( if you could afford that anyway.)

My attempt at another board. Those guys not really into war games. But list is there yeah.

Doing progranda to support need for magic is good. I say we should in future make spybfamiiars to spy on tech heads. And make magic more utility/ easy to use so more will turn to it.

Now advanced Helpers have stronger melee options like repair beams now cut flesh, bone, and their armor. Combat phase two in future.

So instead of killing each other it's all politics. What a lovely spin.

Thatbor I could post in chunks.

Technology: Advancing field of technology in kilingbyour enemies.

Logistics: Some must be picked atvstart. But it shows how much resource you can support to your war effort.

Tactics: How your fightingbforces work outside the box despite tech to keep fighting interesting.

Society: How your government runs people. Affects things like how obviously good or bad you are and certain units. As well as bonus towards things like more research or morale or more productions

Magic: Throw science aside and stick to magic. Not as detailed as technology and has a weakness to certain picks. Butbstill awesome.

Super Powers: Totakly made up to spice things up. Funding research and employing special people for war effort. In time even creating your own.

Anti magic charms sounds good to me. Hope they work.

Had a war game that can be arms race style or a style in which each player (fm included) Rod as said nation ( as it invokes alliances so multiple nations and can be up to three in hand going at it.)

The period is WW2. But it's fictional we2. Meaning super science and magic exist. Also made a logistics system in investing in it. In terms of how many units can have made and where to put them. Also units themselves are on power lecvels based on how much cost to unlock and what you add on to them.

Only reason have not updated list here is it breaks word count per post. So thinking its too complicated to be worth a damn.

Improved metals: 12,13,2.

Well it is done. You can enhance your armor further to meet survival standards of coming conflict and such success "everything." Also goes up. Ship and drones too. Sadly a glitch in system makes it so it adapts and shifts to repel certain energy signals. Meaning it is a match game to decide which armor is best against what type. Or Rock Paper Scissors.

Order: You send drones with a mission. Giving data and video holo displays telling the warp. Your people's intentions for a collective, of free willed beings enjoying technology. And the truth that the imperials seek power and reliogonoys dominion. That if they had not attempted conversion would have just kill them too.

This sends waves among the Mud Hounds. Given they are not a centralized people yet anyway, but factions working to power. Will be interesting to see.

Warp Bubble: 4,9,17

Well you did it. Managed to make ships Teleport. That's the good news. The bad news is it is really unpredictable as to where you will end up though and sometimes it attracts "things." That exist on the "other" side. A handy glitch in system is that the bubbles with local barriers can make brief sling shot worm holes. Maybe even tunnel/drill dimensional energy out of it.

Revise time.
