Most likely bumps. As the rules were not dumbed down or anything. Was fresh and interesting at designing units.

Tiaga Prime:

On the water world the Collective touch down. Having to use air regulators for breathing. Meanwhile the Grand Imperium have adaption. So they breath water and air just fine. Also apparently the natives of this planet heard a call to join the Imperium in exchange for technology and accepted. As the natives and simpering moced together.

However, the Collective using their new, bug sized drones tracked the movements for no fog of war effect. As in battle it was brutal. Gas powered harpoons, shrapnel and rocket power d bullets. Some injured. As Black Blood stops injury, but a good shot to throat, heart, or head would still do it. As for a Collective soldier. Cyber brain only real weakness.

In close combat chemical lasers fired. Photon walls went up to absorb the heat damage. As Collective meltor guns let loose atomic fire. Deflectors do not block background heat. Only direct impact. Many imperial zealots and those swuiddy allies got cooked. Though a laser blast manages to hit a drone hive. Disabling one. It made the little guys even angrier as they bore into them with vigor.

But the piece of note was melee combat. As the Collective got their cyber blades. Either blade or wolver claws. The Imperium dishes out their new secret weapon. Energized melee Weapons. Shock batons disrupted CPU by contact, heat blades melted flesh and metal. The kinetic stuff either bashed apart or cleaved right on through. It was glorious carnage. Not the whole regiment of Collective was there as it was a probe. But the remainder of the probe heads back to base to try to get heavy weapons started as the surviving Imperium, covered i. Ichor and oil made a stance on a main island. Being held as divine messengers to the locals. Despite them losing member in shoot out, they wrecked the cyber beings in melee. As the body count was obvious.

First exchange: Natives ally with Imperium by order. Collective Mind Fold collective now knows Energized weapons. Both have foot hold.

Galium 2

On a thick tropical world with radiation factors. The Collective their get buzz feed about Tiaga Prime. They know not to attempt melee combat except if absolutely necessary. During the match the Mud Hounds appear. Scaly, Slimes orc like Amphibians. They came in large numbered but mere bullets do not harm the collective. As their armor re enforces itself with each impact they instead go to melee with the natives. Cyber blades coating in green and gold gore of the savages as they took the hint. They fled and would return with a new plan. As the drones spot the Imperials. Quick and brutal fire fights with energy weapons left scorched Earth and bodies as the natives came back. Sheer numbers and threat of ensigns in melee has them pinned at the landing zone. Heavy gun encampments holding off the Mud Hounds. Gun fire picking off the Impetials until they took hint not to try to keep up in melee.

Fight: Due to experience if Tiaga Prime. They try to keep out of melee. The caution allows them to keep numbers. But cutting their mobility considering it's a freakken jungle and the natives are going to Zerg swarm at any moment. Imperials are the major losers here due to meltor gun spam. Which bulls jungle advantage and deflector field.

Arko 4

The desert was open and cast. As the two forces engage it was picking them off with projectile fire. The imperials decide to focus fire. Draining photon walls and over powering Collective one at a time. This tactic works as the natives arrive. To order the Inperials to bunker down. As they felled the drones detect what the deal is. A massive sand storm suddenly appears in skirmish zone. Many hive boxes are lost and some platoons are sucked up as rest go to a canyon.

Fight: Imperial tactic to over load wall worked and native advangte scored win. Though the Collective manage to survive thanks to drones.

Re enforcements from home world will appear after fleet battles.

Currently have two fleets per side. They are about to range

Sector 1

The fleets have a stand off. As the Imperium gets in range to soak their missiles and lasers. The Collective Dradboughts with Nacro cannons manage to blow several away. As the cruisers with point defense mentors pre debitate salvis. The Collective get shelling them piece by piece though a battle ship falls to too much missile spam. As in total both sides need more anmo hence stop. Collective have more numbers due to smart materials keeping ships together.

Sector 2

Here the Collective attempt same strategry due to their collective mind. But a particular brace and suicidal Captain has other plans on the Imperium side. Kitt Nyslo decides to fully deploy his nuke drive. Three beats off three bombs. Plowing right through range game as others took nacro shells. He rams the ship into local dreadnought. He the denitates every single bomb in ships drive.

The last. Is a epic chain of events to say the least as the dreadnought is utterly destroyed. Imperial too and several ships wrecked enough to be destroyed by laser fire. However both sides in end at half strength. Due to damages and need to recharge/ re arm armaments.

Next turn re enforcements via home world to hot zones. Gentlemen. Design time.

That's a good one and in my game no roll for revise. Only design phases and combat. With that. First combat will begin soon.

1986
Well I think both are dead, though I might be a little premature in saying that. A pity for the Wands Race game, it was fun while it lasted. The Clash Among The Stars game is just bad, little to no effort by the GM to describe things and poor spelling/grammar to boot.

So it's a good time to make that game, I'd definitely participate. Why no magic, though?

It's not dead. The Collective just need their revision phase and order. From there, first official combat begins.

And time is not my friend. I am a very busy man in real life. From charity work, finding my next pay check with odd jobs, or currently keeping my home clean by myself. But if I had time, I would have made the tech list have like sixty or so entries. Do not believe me? Gaze into the horror that's Inferum at Gamersblick. That's me with free time.

It's just very hard to manage everything significant, and so forth. Does not help this phone has no correction for grammar. Typos are my bad though.

But seriously I designed it that way so the two player sides can ultimately invent their own killing devices using their own imangiatiobs with no need of my input.
As this is a very smart crowd.

Not going to give reasons for my posting or challenge you to fill in my shoes, I got some form of pride and civility to maintain.

But yeah reason I could not update until like now was two charity events back to back. As well as start of spring cleaning. Just saying.

As for situation flipped a coin between chainsaw vibrio and three cheap blades. Three cheap blades won.

And as peace is not a option. The speaking to third party worlds works!!

Tools: Every field warrior now has a taelectric baton, flame weapon of choice, and kinetic weapon of choice. ( something as small as a knife to size if a claymore.)

Order: Conversion:

As you broad cast across the sectors. You discover three worlds with pre interstellar intelligence on them.

Tiago Prime: Celhpapods in a mostly aquatic world.

Galima 2: Has the mud hounds. Amphibians who reproduce quickly resulting in wars. Now. May start worshipping the God Empiress and follow her lead.

Arko foye: Desert planet with hobbit sized ant people. ( workers anyway. Queens more like horse +)

These fellows  listed all have I let based Weapons and fire power close to or at our current fire power ( as in us humans of now.) so can be helpful for distraction before you equip them with your toys ( the ones you willingly spare.)

1988
The glorious Imperium is ready. Awaiting Collective with their organic/cybertbic computers before first combat.

Energized Weapons: 17, 17, 10

" Glory to the Empiress! Your forces now have made energy field technology for your melee weapons. With enough time. Everyone can train in it as all can seem to afford one. As even knifes and batons are valid. The only glitch is only one energy type field a weapon. So pick. No converting. Meaning kinetic, electric, heat, and so forth must be one item at a time."

Next: Revise previous tech.

Advanced Helpers: 13,8,14

" You master the art of making AI Helpers without a mind uplink or up lift.  Even so the little guys still access your mind net work. So same benefits, on both ends. And as a side bonus they blend right in easily due to size. Easily mistaken for bugs. They scout, attack, and aid in repair."

Their one flaw is the energy needs in their battery cores. Needing a mobile hive ( which is like a trash can with legs.) to keep them juices and going on the clock.

Next: What do you revision or revise?
