Hmmm so the DBZ route of healing light? Okay but powers are not instant/free move and someone competent with sniper rifle or uses a bazooka to get you out of cover will wreck you. And to everyone:

There will be leveling up points. Max is 5 points. Get a 1 even if done nothing. Helping get mission done is 3. 4 and 5 are for rewards by playing your character, like a real character and making it entertaining.


Also thinking of where to start.


Anyway decided to start this thing off.  Away we go! ( Keep in mind, fictional WW2. So there will be conflicts and operations/missions that did not happen in our history.)


- Paris Island, South Carolina, USA. 1940.


At the marine training island there were a convoy of trucks. Heading to main base. Along the way the drivers talked about their cargo as the day was wet with rain. “ Can you believe this Fubar!? The Krauts are smashing Europe, Japan thinks it is big time and our government is investing in these, these people!”

“ People Yeah, But Marty. These people seem to be exceptional and could be of great use should we get the call.”

“ Whatever Brown, the truth is the war has started in the Western Hemisphere, hush hush but we need them?! Yeah only reason that crazy Australian bastard is calm is the booze. Heard he blew up three of the good guys when he was “hired.” And that little girl gives me the creeps.”


Everything stops. Afterwards the truck doors open as the Marines escort the new blood out, them being you guys. Lead on into a building in which a man with a very nice suit was there. Brown sun kissed flesh, ocean blue eyes, built tall and broad as he looks them over.

“ About bloody time. Kidd  and Levin are having a field day. So then care to get started?!”

Claps his hands to gain more focus as he spoke up.

“ As of now you no longer exist to the outside world. You are with us now. We are a joint team of paranormal fighting unit that dates back to Ancient Rome. We are Black Book and we call the shots. You people will be working with us and sent around the world to silence hostile paranormals. We are mobilizing again because we fear certain things may or already have fallen into the hands of the enemy. So you must stop them dead in their tracks. Right now, what matters is you getting to know each other. Also work as a team. One can only live on your own power for so long.”


Makes a smile that is so white it shines. “ So, get to introductions. I am Brian Rosetira, current head of the Rosetira family and owner of Black Book.”

Cue two more men coming in. One man was blonde, white, green eyes, 5’ 6 and broad build. “ I cannot work with this heathen sack of scientific shat anymore! When will we be killing things?”

“ Oh I agree, cannot wait to be out of here, doing field research.” The last Man was tall and thin. Extremely so like a man made of sturdy branches. He was Freakken pale with red eyes and white hair in a dark uniform. He was the tallest at 7’1.

Brian speaks more. “ This tall Scholar is Levin, the man in white is Davey Kidd. The other agent, Danny O Hare is currently in the field. You may even get to meet him. That aside, we wil be doing training, boot camp, Weapons and seeing what makes you special. Note that just because you cannot do anything special, does not mean your limited. A man with a knife can gut a wizard by not believing the wizards bullshit. Keep that in mind.”

Hand gestures and exits the stage. Along with the two other note worthy npcs.

Just Marines now as a typical Sarge McNasty shows up.

“ How many have you killed!? Because it takes a hard heart to kill. We wil try to beat weakness outbof you, if that has bedennpurged then we will reshape younto do it at a better pace. Now then!”

Cue barracks. Not bothering the buzz cuts. They were to be trained, just not official army. Still, getting weapons training and work outs.

( Build your relationships my pretties and no worries, actions will happen)


Edit: Phantom Brigade is a Unit in Black Book org. There are four. Just a heads up.

Ducking college paper. Are up my evening. Well there are 4 npcs for Hero Side.

Names:

Danny O Hare: Irish Combat Magician.

Davey Kidd: The American he’ll raiser.

Tidus Levin: A Occultist, studies it and made books to detail super natural history of the world. Made a laughing joke of self in traditional sciences. Yet he learned a lot.

Brian Rosetira: English ass kicker. A knight of the times.

Depends on which part of the fighting you want to be in.

And yes I will be enemies and making up 8 ally npcs as we speak. Just to see how this goes.

Err T Levin can make his own shit up given the fact he had a idea of the resurrection with Fallas tools. He can always make his own shit up ( which he plans to do. In the New World.)

Plot post

As the he sailing off to North America, Levin gets talked by thevother prisoners, given his reputation and everything.

“ Gentlemen, we all have sinned and have blood in our hands. Back home we were scum, now we are off to a new land. If we play all our cards right, we can be heroes. We could wash the stains of Failure and make a difference.”

He notes to himself no more human experiments, unless he himself is the subject.

There are 10 Hunters of Darkness games, one here as a company manage Thing. The other is RTD the Occult War.

Was thinking of two more.

A Arms Race where two orders go out of their way to slay monsters and out compete the rival to get more funding.


The other a council game, 9 players max, be the actual board of directors managing the order.

Bob is just an ordinary army grunt. He was put in the squad by mistake and now he's seen too much and can't leave.

Stats:
Strength: 5
Speed: 6
Constitution: 6
Wits: 6
Will: 7
Intelligence: 5
Perception: 5
Power: 0

(Is this type of character okay? Or does it not fit in the canon?)

Works out fine for me. You can be “ Rambo” as in a highly trained killing machine armed to the teeth.

You gaining stats can mean you become a shredded mofo, not exactly super natural, but better than a normal grunt, in time.

Another note:

Characters reach zero they are knocked down, if struck while down, suffer from serious illness/disease or bleed out they die. Also can be killed out right if hot with serious fire power/force while not having defenses.


As for matter: You can have multiple characters as two fronts in the war, Incase you want back ups, and this game does not en until last missions are done or no more interest, or complete player kill in key events.

Because some of you have multiple characters in mind. So limit of created Agents is 4. If you can handle it, go for it.

Oh and I Ones people about power scaling. Will make it official here.

Powers work one of three ways.

1: Lots of tricks,  it limited charges: Each of The power tiers, 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, And 16-20. Well at 1-5 get one trick, 6 and such 2 added on ( becoming three.)  then get three ( total of six) and at 16-20. Becomes ten ( adding four to six) and so on until 30 ( add each number a power up, becomes insane.)anyway really useful in regards to broad ability, but limited stock charge like a d and d wizard. So stuff runs out rather fast if not careful.


2: The opposite of the above, just one trick, but evolved to be more useful to a extent and can spam the Hell our if it.

3: Only one trick each 5 levels for a total of six tricks.  Have to wait to recharge during turns in battle or rather cool down. So a middle ground between 1 and 2. Willing to help discuss stuff before the actual rpg mission starts.


Edited due to brain fart, 30 is max not 20. And phone kept saying 20.

I'm a little confused as to what "automatic safe success" means, by the way.

Basically since stat limit is 30.  It means auto success if 4 based on objective.

Rolls are divided up and the amount of successes add up. Though that depends on situation.

Someone with 8 in Strength hits a Nazi shoulder cia Punch.

Auto success and roll of six. Success + 4. Basically due to success, knocked the target down and wounded. It alive.


Now if Strength was 30 and connect with target, it looks like something out of Fist of the North Star ( Hyper bloody violence as poor bastard explodes in blood and meat fibs.)

Power stat is either to amp trick or get more tricks/improve trick every five levels.

So in Tria case with 8, two tricks, two tricks only, psi translator ( otherwise nuls how people understand.) while second trick should be nightmare monsters. ( though Mental Constructs, enchanted stuff and other supernatural stuff is just fine. Also ifba names enemy has high enough will, ignoring the damage.)

I haven't seen whatever it is you're referring to. What do you mean by "ghost mode"?


In Hellsing Ultimate, there is a mute werewolf Captain Nazi ( Despite the Nazi deal, the most decent/nice guy of that group.)
Among his attacks ( and a were wolf) he transforms into mist/ghost stuff and was still capable of attacking, Hellsing Abridged and regular Ulrinate Hellsing has this on display. ( as in turning into a dire wolf that can fly through bullets and chomp people up, or ghost war form.)

Then again “ True” supernaturals in that verse are basically demons.

Oh! And Japanese/Axis nation folk are well in for a interesting field day, co sidereing this is for Allies cause ( Tri is why mentioning this.)
