Shef aware of the power of the summoners commands already, found this development quite unnerving. She'd been commanded to hunt him down, what tools did she have for the job? Teleports, for the approach, but the wouldn't help to locate him. Disembodied swings, immunity, white phosphorus--could she track that? Perhaps, perhaps. But if she could, she'd have known about him exiting the building. The cough, maybe. But his illusion, in covering his voice, should cover that as well. Well, she'd probably be on alert for any sounds, any sights.

For now, if he could help Yuki with her target, he'd be able to heal, and that might be enough. And to do that. . . no, he'd not be attacking directly. Magnum von Chainsaw--what kind of godforsaken name--seemed supremely resilient. It would be better to let Yuki do the heavy lifting, and just give that little push. He put his pistol down into one of the seats, yet another layer of sound dampening, and began charging a requiem bullet. It would be portaled out of the barrel of the gun, a few seats down, and then into the air towards Magnum. Shef was alert for any approach, every single cached portal ready to be used, and tensed to close the portal behind his bullet as quickly as possible. But beyond that, the command.

Manipulator[5], disguise the location the bullet is shot from, portals on the way to avoid interference and approach from a blind spot, and finally, portal the round into Magnums stomach, if possible. Otherwise the bullet might crumple against Magnum's abs. The command is to smash his own head with the upcoming attack

Yeah, this seems pretty cut and dry. No need for something more fancy, seems like a solid move.

What was even the point of the anthrax really, just double up the warcrimes? Not that it was actually that big a deal in awakened fights. But Shef was fairly certain that white phosphorus would already cause lung irritation, just through the oxide fumes and being breathed in. Well, it wasn't the worst to be honest. Painful and irritating, but he'd escaped the cloud early so his dosage might be low.

Shef once again entered the theater, finding a location near the middle where he could inconspicuously fire the grenade launcher. A portal in the floor, connecting to a spot a few rows forward, seats ideally camouflaging his attack. Loading the recursive grenade (double checking to be certain it was the right one), Shef took aim at the summoner's form.

Use the grenade launcher and the quad recursion grenade, aim for the summoner. Imbue the grenade with Expulser[3] properties, for hopefully added oomph. If the adversaries notice before the grenade impact, use portals to bypass their defenses as best as possible.

Binding, would that perhaps bypass the novelists restrictions? Shef guessed yes, grabbed one, and then two other grenades. Given that this was a training exercise, mixing it up and experimenting was probably something he should give a bit more of a shot.

Untethered retrieval unit, one frag, one recursion, and one phantasmal chain grenade, and of course the launcher please. Make the purchases as quickly as possible, and smack the retrieval unit on Shef's knife and exoarm. Head back again to theater.

Shef, having done what he wanted, made his way back to the entrance to the theatre, relying on the cover of his illusion. One down, three to go. He'd go for the summoner next, to give Yuki a better chance against her adversary. But, before that, he'd need a few things.

Exit the theatre, make sure to not be followed, then jog over to the explosives store right next door. Search for and purchase a mountable retrieval unit, that, when activated will pull two items together with substantial force. This is to be mounted on his exo arm, and knife. Search also for a fold-out disposable grenade launcher (limited use, attempt to find something that he could jury rig the hollywood silencer onto), and three rounds. Fragmentary preferred, but willing to switch things up if something interesting is noticed.

Shef, after checking to make sure he wasn't followed out, reinitiated his illusion. Who needed a shirt with an illusion like this. With luck, this group wouldn't know of that--he didn't recall Ignis' social media feed mentioning it, that stuff had been strictly combat--and he'd have yet another element of surprise on his side. He made his way to the entrance. Quickly, of course he didn't want to leave Yuki alone too long, but taking enough time to remove his combat knife from his arm. For now, he kept it the same hand, hopefully providing enough semblance to being mounted that his opponents wouldn't notice, once the illusion was broken of course.

Reactivate illusion. Remove knife, hold it in the same hand. Change out ammo type. Head to the front of the theater, enter. Shef will keep his gun behind his back, and use a series of portals starting from the muzzle for Rapid Fire [4] on the novelist, so that it appears to come from an angle other than the entrance and Shef's illusion.

Tank the hit, attempt to catch it on the exoarm, at the base of the dagger. If it breaks, yay. If possible, use the phosphorus cover to drop down below the stage. Snap the portal closed as quickly as possible to prevent anyone knowing exactly where Shef went. Then portal out of the building. If no one has appeared to follow, potion up, switch rounds, and head around to the front door.

For a moment after the shot, Shef was as confused as his adversary. When had he loaded those, and why? As his opponent teleported forward with the strike, Shef quietly mumbled, <"I'm sorry, please believe me when I say that was an accident.">. The statement was sincere, in English, and, in complete contradiction to the fact that he was already pulling the trigger to let loose two more rounds.

Shef, by now, felt there was no other option. Taking the time to swap out the ammo would put him at a terrible disadvantage, and, his regular rounds wouldn't do much even if he loaded them.

He'd try to portal back away from the wide, white phosphorus enhanced swing, cached portals opening to catch the possibly disconnected strike, and to guide his knife arm to a position near the handle of the outstretched cleaver. Unlikely that it would catch her in a teleport, but it might make her hesitate. He needed to stall until he could come up with a way to actually get the knife strike in.

Shef fires off two more rounds at his adversary, while backing up through a portal to open a little more distance. Portal to get his knife hand near the cleaver's handle to catch the teleport, cached portals ready to get the next disconnected slash.

Like the mortar, shore bombardment is great for landings, and there's plenty of utility in other areas as well. I'd personally prefer not getting the chemical warfare trait, as I'm not really that interested in maximum warcrimes. Of course, if other people want it, I'm fine with it.

Basic PT boat proposal, could probably be spiced up.

Saraita I Patrol Boat

The recent encounter in the maelstrom, along with the attempted insertion by the Initharians into the mudflats, has solidified the need for increased military intelligence and a possibility for rapid response in the seas between our territories. The Saraita I torpedo armed patrol boat serves as an adaptable rapid response and scouting force in these waters. At a proposed speed of 45 knots, these will not necessarily be able to outrun Initharian destroyers, but will still be able to provide rapid strikes on landing craft and small vessels, determine and radio out enemy positions, and maneuver above most deep mines layed by Initharian destroyers.

The vehicle is approximately 20 m in length, crewed by 12 men, and is only lightly armored, at 20 mm plating most of the hull of the ship, with a slight increase to 30 mm for the driver's section. Classic wellsap construction is intended to make this speed boat mostly silent save for the splashing of the water, and a 30 degree cone behind the vessel.

Armament consists of two torpedo tubes mounted on each side, and 2x2 20 mm dual purpose guns, a set mounted fore and aft of the ship. It is equipped with the same basic radio and electronic equipment as other vessels.

The purpose of this vehicle is to be a cheap, easily produced vehicle capable of rapid scouting and response to enemy landers and isolated targets.

Shef flinched further at the boy's broken Spanish. He'd have to use his knife though, to defeat the girl with the swords. It would be difficult, but he had two major inroads as far as he could see. One, his regalia wouldn't be damaging, and could probably still work, and two, the woman seemed to teleport only to her swords. While the causality manipulation would be troublesome, he at least had a target by which to predict her teleportation. Oh, and he wasn't sure whether she was straight up invincible, or if she could be hit, sliced up, but wouldn't suffer in any way from it.

With that in mind, Shef fired off on of his manipulator rounds at the adventurer, while turning himself to keep the sword a foot or two in front of him. Twin tests, to ferret out more about her abilities.

Manipulator [5] on the adventuress, if she teleports to avoid, send it past, on to the summoner. A single portal to redirect the arrow heading for Yuki towards the summoner as well. Regarding the adventuress, if she teleports directly to the sword, a few tentative jabs with the knife. If not, cached portal behind to hopefully block.

Yuki could dodge a truck. Shef hoped. He knew what he wanted to do, pulling his left arm up to intercept the projectile. He could just portal it away, but he was a little curious about what it would do. It didn't seem terribly threatening, and so he wondered if there was some other effect. Better to take it, and push through for now, he could portal repeat attempts later. For now, his attention was on Sebastien at the back. Given that he'd not done anything, Shef's suspicion was that his abilities were more defensive in nature, or more niche, and niche abilities tended to be quite dangerous if the opportunity to use them was set up.

With that in mind, Shef fired one of his new knockback rounds towards the boy, and prepared to open a portal to catch wherever he flew, and deposit him under the platform, in the water.

Expulser [3] round towards the novelist, and a portal to catch wherever he flies, drop him under the platform.

This was an awful position. Good bait maybe, but a bad enough position that it might not be worth it. Thus Shef's first move would be to open a series of portals to strafe to the side, and hopefully open the distance.
