Or at least care so little that it doesnt make a difference? They already care so little that it doesn't make a difference. Severity of the art defacement bad thought is inversely proportional to the number of masterworks already produced.
What specific starting attributes & skills do you recommend then?I think you misunderstood me. I don't get killed by wildlife and recruits, I kill them, but get virtually no experience from it. Consequently, I get aced by an average goblin spearman although I have full set of iron armor, an iron shield, and the starting attributes recommended by the quick start guide. The quickstart guide is out of date and short on helpful information. High strength is only an edge at the start, by giving more carrying capacity and higher early damage, but strength above agility will reduce your maximum speed, which is far more critical. You want higher agility, and good endurance so you can get the attack rate benefit of staying in jog mode with less stamina loss.
If you're getting killed by cats, crabs, random wildlife and recruits, then you aren't fighting smart.I think you misunderstood me. Several years ago I decided to kill a mummy with my swordsman. I was aware of the curse, so i had a plan to wake him up using my companion. But before that i wanted to make sure that there were no other corpses in the room so they could not be raised. So i hauled all of them one by one, while i was sneaking, and it took me at least half an hour. Everything was ready, companion came close to a dead mummy, disturbing its sleep, got a curse and then... I remembered one thing. Whenever I decapitated someone i took their head as a trophy. And suddenly, all of those heads of bandits, vampires, trolls, night creatures and so on began to move. I took one step and my character was already exhausted from all of the blocked, parried and connected hits. Next thing i know, he fell unconscious and died. So much time was wasted on preparation just to be killed by his trophies.I'm imagining all the hundreds of heads climbing out of his backpack, swarming over his body, and devouring him alive.
