I know that we've mostly dropped the statue subject, but...
I heard someone in my house tell me that they're replacing it with a statue of Lenin, but I cannot for the life of me found a source for this. Please, oh please, tell me that they got trolled and this isn't a thing.
I'm honestly surprised you guys never heard of Pokemon sprites before (those were what we called those mashups). They were a large part of my childhood and I would often watch YouTube videos where artists would show off their work. There was some pretty impressive stuff actually. I made a couple myself but I lost them when my old computer died.
I didn't know spriting was still a thing btw. I thought it died when Aquablade11 quit. I remember seeing a lot of other sprinters quit at that point too such as Jcool, and Prima. (It didn't help that Pokemon eventually shifted to 3D)

I just want to say that this is literally what cobalt means. Like, literally literally.
Update on the Openxcom thing:I just reread the original file (I kept backup) and yes, you can get it from engineers. The problem is, catching them alive.
Trollium was created to prevent the player from immediately researching the alien electronics. Capture aliens and eventually you'll get the research from interrogating an engineer, leader, or commander.
Same goes for alien codes, too, which are also required to research the Data Slate.
