Episode 8 - Nice and Steamy
Coming at you at the speed of 800 miles per hour! Or, I guess, 100 words per minute.

Quote from: JOEBob
I point out that That Other Guys discord name is The Superego, and was when he made the post of controlling egosomethingsomething. with the definitions defined, i go back to bootleg reality and grab a rock, then return to my pocket.
Discord? What’s that? You return to the pocket with a rock! Your pocket is still part of the main dimension as it occupies it, since you haven’t acquired the pocket yet. The rock doesn’t count.

Quote from: ThatOtherGuy
I add to JOE's post by saying that he's right. I then look through the store for something more useful than coffee. I'm already pretty awake now anyways. Unfortunate that that lady died. Oh well.
You find a gun in the store! God bless America. The Malefic Man does not seem happy! He steals the ammo from the gun. “That’ll cost your soul, pal!” he laughs, tossing the ammo in the air and catching it. It looks pretty cool.

Well after noting that down, I use my reality warping powers to send several giant bolts of electricity either into the water and at the girl with wings, knowing that everyone who's been soaked with water (which includes at least one of the Malefic Men)   get hurt by this attack, roof, or no roof.
The Second Malefic Man takes 1 damage! His skin is now slightly tanned.

I do an ass pull and pull out an oversized top hat, I follow this with a hat trick of pulling a dryer out of my hat, stuffing the water log'd Second Malefic Man in, and setting that dryer to "Its damper in the Sahara" Before threatening it on.
The Second Malefic Man is about to be dried out, but the power socket for the dryer gets wet and electrocutes both you and him! You fall into the water. The Malefic Man was already electrocuted from before, and thus has developed a resistance for electricity, if you will. Or if you won’t.

inspect the carving a bit more closely, but keep everybody else from looking at it per her request. Swim over to the 2nd malifc man, and quietly ask if her daughter is single.
You inspect the carving carefully! You feel something on the other side of the carving, something rough and bumpy. “Wait! Don’t look at the back! Please! And don’t show it to anyone!” the Malefic Girl yells out. You think patiently about what to do.

The Second Malefic Man looks at you in disgust. “You’ve got ten seconds to tell me what you’re insinuating, and if I don’t like it, I’ll make sure this knife goes through you enough times that your body memorizes every curve of it.” he says, smugly.

Everything is a creation of some reality, including The Malefic Man, I poke him with the needle while distracted by the flooding, I also poke the water because they are part of reality so poking them is like poking reality
You poke him with the needle! A hole inside him opens from unreality to reality. He turns inside out! Half of him appears in reality, the other half stays here. You poke the water and thus poke reality, causing a tear in it. Good job on ripping reality itself apart! Now all that’s left is pulling it out.

If anyone can figure out what the Malefic Girl’s weakness is, you should be able to defeat her easily.
Obliviously her weakness is fire, so I set everything including the water on fire again.
Fire is not her weakness in particular, but it’s everyone’s weakness to an extent. The water is set on fire! Everything feels nice and steamy. “Ooh… Nice and steamy! Looks like it’s just the time for a nice… And long… Nap…” the Malefic Man falls asleep on the roof tile.

Rise up into the sky, singing a heavenly eldritch melody in everyone's mind while spreading my birds out. Then, concentrate my power toward the first Malefic Man and mind rip him. Find out what is going on and why we are here.
Half of the First Malefic Man has been imposed into this dimension by Rockeater! You mind-rip that part, causing it to rip apart and explode. The book says, “You found the Malefic Man surrounding a body of corpses, and you decided to kill him. It’s just a simple case of trying to murder someone, really. As for why you’re here, well… Certain shady organizations need to dispose of their corpses somehow. Yes, it is quite a dishonorable task, but it must be done by someone. It seems as if you just got in there by error. Perhaps a reality error. Perhaps not”

If anyone can figure out what the Malefic Girl’s weakness is, you should be able to defeat her easily.
Obliviously her weakness is fire, so I set everything including the water on fire again.
No her weakness is criticism, tell her why her drawings are bad and she should take emotional damage.
Yell at everyone including the Girl and Myself, use the sheer power of sound to hurt their eardrums.
Her weakness is not necessarily criticism, although that’s a weakness of most artists! You are narrowing it down, though. Unfortunately, you can’t think of a reason why her drawings would be bad! They seem to be completely and entirely perfect. She does, however, find your sounds to be irritating, and accidentally slams into a building, taking 1 damage! A chunk of the building falls onto the water, and you can’t see it because of the steam (thanks to King Zultan setting the water on fire), splashing hot water all over you. Ouch. Your arm is covered in minor burns.

Get my own roof tile and stand on it a few feet from the second Malefic Man, thereby creating a who-can-stay-afloat-longest contest. Are you a contestant or a contender, Malefic Man? I know which one I am.
The Second Malefic Man fell asleep thanks to the steam! However, he suddenly stands up, still sleeping! It seems he’s dreamwalking. He accepts your challenge. It is a known fact that dreamwalkers are more adept than normal people at floating, which is seen when you throw a sleeping person into the ocean. This will be a tough battle.

I, while outside of my fleshy prison, crawl backstage.
You are very much still inside your fleshy prison! You attempt to walk, but your feet cannot move. The flies around you recognize your effort, and are intrigued by the odors of your decomposing body, and pick you up. You aren’t walking, but at least you’re flying! Too bad there’s no backstage anywhere in sight.

Contract Unreality again, and hit out the first Malefic Man.
You contract unreality and travel to the unreality goose chamber! You are showered with even more water, and you see Rockeater and half of the first Malefic Man standing there. “Hey, what happened to my other half?!” he says, realizing it has already been destroyed. You hit the first Malefic Man, but hit the part of him that is missing! He dodges, thanks to only having half of his previous mass.

The final stretch is here! Only half of the First Malefic Man remains. The Malefic Girl continues crashing into buildings with her wings, and dropping chunks of buildings on people, splashing them with hot water! It seems the key to her defeat lies with Dustan Hache’s carving. The Second Malefic Man is asleep, and currently in a floating contest with The_Two_Eternities.

Everything is very nice and steamy. So steamy, that you want to take a nap! Next turn, if an action is not done to prevent sleeping, you will most likely fall asleep automatically! Be wary of the steam.

Half of the Malefic Man: 1/5 HP. Still stuck in unreality!
Second Malefic Man: 1/10 HP. He’s taking a nap. Wow.
Malefic Girl: 3/5 HP. Winged rampage!

Granted. You learn of what lies beyond, but the realization is so powerful that it immediately kills you the moment you see it.

I wish my phone never ran out of charge.

World War... E.

After having an infinite amount of World Wars, humanity somehow reached ordinal numbers and decided to switch to letters.

Glorious Brexit. I think that's a good contender for one of the top facepalms of this thread.

Granted. You are given an insane amount of luck, and you recognize that you now don't have to study for any tests as you will pass them all regardless. However, at a certain point, once you have to apply your knowledge, you realize that the luck has worn out and you're left to starve without having any skills. Studying is important, kids.

I wish that I would get an infinite supply of ramen.

Carolina != Calorina
I understand that, I was just making a joke based off the typo I made.

I was gonna post this in the WTF thread but I guess it could fit in here too.
...Except I didn't facepalm, because then I woulda got blood all over my face. Basically, I sliced open my finger at work today whilst trying to open the flavour sachets for some instant noodles without the aid of scissors because I couldn't find any. Whoooops. Much bleeding was had. I blame overtiredness.
Sometimes, one has to suffer for noodles. It's just the price you have to pay.

South Calorina

Hah! On basis of this unfortunate typo I declare failure by technicality!

Hm...? I'm... not sure what you mean? Here, I even have a legitimate list of states to prove it.

The letter "M".

13 is a cursed number, M is the 13th letter, M is the most frequently appearing letter and appears in the vast majority of languages around the world. Coincidence? Most likely.

Sadly, my countrymen tend to have this elitist pathology that makes them unbearably thick.

It is one of the reasons I very much wish for an end to American Hegemony.  (the UK got over its raging "privilege boner" nearly a century ago. Us in the US? Not so much...)

That said, I can pretty much fill in all the spaces on a european map, and many/most of the spaces on an african or south american map.   Asia... Post USSR I just gave up. The area that was formerly Yugoslovia just changes borders too damn often to keep up with.
Funnily enough, I reside in a post-USSR country, although it isn't exactly close to any Southern Slavic countries. It's funny how you'd think people would care more to actually learn at the very least the names of every country considering that we as a human race only inhabit one planet and other countries are basically the only places around us that we can actually visit, and this extends to myself as well (I certainly couldn't name every country). It doesn't really make as much sense when I type it out this way, but if we view it from the eyes of someone who sees countries as an abstract concept they'd expect every human to know where each area is located. Maybe this is just incoherent babbling.

California, Florida, Texas, Alaska and Hawaii don't count. Now name and place five.
Just northward from Florida (which for arbitrary reasons we will exclude) you have Alabama on the west and Georgia on the east, Mississippi on the west of Alabama, South Calorina to the east of Georgia, North Carolina north-ward from South Carolina.

Kabbalah.

My friend loves to talk about obscure pseudo-Judaism schools of thought. He isn't even Jewish.

I know that perhaps people rag on Americans and their knowledge of European countries way too much, and it comes off as a bit hypocritical when said by someone like me, considering I'm not exactly a paragon of geographical memorization, but I was watching a video made by a certain creator (rather popular too, mind you), and it was honestly physically painful to endure him try to guess which country went where. And you know, to each his own, it's not a big deal in the first place and it's frankly none of my business, but the real kicker was when he announced that this was okay because non-Americans wouldn't be able to name five states. I mean, I'm not sure what bizarro world some people live in, but I'm fairly certain most of everyone could name you five states in the USA. I'm not sure why, but that really just made me actually facepalm.

So just to clarify, do we have to use our Bay12 name for our character, or are you just going to use it when referring to us instead of the character name in order to make it easier for yourself?
