We're a skeleton. A bone-ified (Heeheehee) walking patch of death. We feel no pain (Probably) and are very strong (Compared to a human, anyway) and this is just one ROUS. Clearly, is should be a simple matter to

Honestly, I think we should fabricate robotic infantry on our next turn.

Equipment Revolution

With the advent of new industrial capability, over a dozen new pieces of equipment become available in a threateningly short amount of time: Bandages surgical kits, anesthetic(Really strong alcohol if nothing else), Shovels,  and the most important pieces of equipment: Landmines and grenades.

Simply put, the grenades are little more then simple explosives with a simple trigger that deonates around five seconds after thrown.

The landmines detonate when stepped on.

If we need to design the grenades on one turn I am okay with that.

To note, if we are gonna go with a method of increasing our ore income, I would rather do Collosial Strip mining projects before we go to synthesize metal.

One problem I have with Hephaestus in the creation of armor is that  it seems much more likely that Hephaestus wont be stable enough to act as a longterm material (Days/months/etc), Could we modify it so that instead of using it directly in armor, it acts as a catalyst to the nanoscale fabrication of said armor.

After the Hepaestus is synthesized,  it is emplaced in a standard Metallurigc system, and then in several dozen chemical changes, the end result is almost impossibly durable material/foam like metal alloy  that consists of twelve different elements,

We could try for some Metallic Hydrogen explosives, but that just seems a little to futuristic if nothing else for the fact that electrolyers are a bit high tech.

What was the page number that we murdered the dwarves? I'm curious.

I don't think that giving Athena a personality would make it more of a facsimile to an Artifical Intelligence. The only really effective method I can see  of making an Artifical Intelligence would
be specifically altering the Athena Network to make the equivalent of "Children" and letting those children take over the network ad infinitum Until the program is smart enough to act as an artificial intelligence.

This does put the entire network at risk unless said network incorporates the changes I had put toward in the substructuring changes.

If the intended goal is a general AI, shouldn't we first encompass and teach it things besides the running of war machines? I believe that if we are going to go with your current plan, then the very first thing we have to do is push it through our other systems. Make it continually learn and even let it self-modify itself as it over time automates portions of our society. Right now i feel like it hasnt had much in the way of continual learning.

Make the
CryoStat Tanks

A massive three-meter tall tank filled with liquid oxygen and an accompanying gas cooler, This system is the cutting edge of regeneration and even augmentation technology of the Aratam Nation.
A wounded soldier can be placed in the tank, and a special concoction of over half a dozen pharmaceuticals and otherwise exotic chemicals courtesy of the Refinery, A soldier can be brought from the brink of death in mere days to a full and robust health, and that same soldier can even be brought  beyond their current condition with the application of any type of chemical concoctions that  can be designed if spare time is brought. The Patient is given an IV of specialized Hydrogen-based coolants and then thrown into the oxygen fluid. They are immediately put into a comatose/Stasis type solution. They will immediately face long and short-term damage without the accompanying Pharma Chems being injected into the system to regenerate/augment the individual. Once the treatment has finished, they are dumped out and immediately thrown into a 40 C Furnace. The Coolants are slowly taken out by the Renal system and the individual wakes up around twelve hours later.  Although there are certain problems that would have to be corrected before the Cryo tank treatment (Bone Fractures, a pierced lung, and certain types of cancers in optimal conditions), This system can correct almost any wound or condition that is not hereditary in nature in its current designed standpoint. It is also designed with the intention of acting as a method towards the creation of meta or post-human individuals.

The overall goal that you claim is to stream line the personality so that it is expressed instead of an algorythm showing, but the Personality matrix could be encompessed into the  SubStructuring as well, wtih the added benefit of having any body of individuals/individual able to express a personality as well as the entirety of the Athena Network.

I assume its a non zero but statisticall insignificant chance of that type of operation occurring as of this moment.
