Here's Essence, a thrash metal band I'd recommend to any fellow metalhead out there. It's, in my honest opinion, really, really good.

Final Eclipse

Blood Culture

(If you're a fan of bass guitar, listen to Blood Culture first)

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: Dwarven !!SCIENCE!! Think Tank
« on: April 20, 2017, 09:06:52 am »
Alright, time to propose a couple things that I will try to study in my current fortress :

1) Dwarven child care with bugged undead limbs (those that constantly come back to life only to be killed in one hit). They should stay dead long enough for the kid to drink and/or eat and might get a couple of bruising hits if they're from a small enough creature.
It only works in a reanimating biome though.

2) Effectiveness and use of biological weapons, using deadly spittle, dust, and evil clouds. As the evil cloud near my fortress doesn't produce any contaminant, I will try getting an adventurer thralled in another biome before bringing him back to the fort, acting as a dust carrier.

Jeez, dude, you can resize images with the bbcode on this forum. I forget how though.

I bet those images are killing data users.

Haven't used BBcode for years. My bad. Also it probably just resizes the view while keeping the same amount of data.

Here are some more. I made them over the course of about one year (told you I don't draw much).

Some of the pictures are somewhat massive, so you might want to open them in another tab.

Is there anywhere where I can follow your art?

Nope. I don't have any online gallery as of now. I just share them with my friends over Discord, usually.

I don't think factory workers are privileged enough to turn down job offers, martinuzz. They shouldn't sacrifice themselves for this.

I wasn't aware that a Christian lobby supported the case. It's disgusting.

Sweden made the right decision.

EDIT : As for the xfag slang, I always thought it was okay when applied to myself. Go figure. Thanks for the warning though.

Melenchon is rising quite rapidly in polls, while Hamon is nose-diving:

As a reminder, Melenchon is anti-NATO, anti-EU, and is also a communist.

Frenchfag here. Nope, Mélenchon isn't really communist anymore. He has ties with the communist party but they really don't like each other.

And yeah, he's really popular with the youth because he's the only candidate that knows how the new media (Youtube, internet as whole) works.

Ah, the classic "I can't except that I'm good at art for 'X' reason."

A quick stroll through /ic/ is enough to crush any casual artist's hopes and dreams.

Like I said, "well your experience is fucking wrong, mate"

Just dropping my non-brit two cents there. There is no such thing as a wrong experience. He's either lying (I don't really think he is) or misinterpreting/extrapolating wrongly from his experience. He didn't live a "wrong experience".

I just finished the second floor of my massive Fortress/Cathedral to Armok : Hazecaskets.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It's made entirely of basalt blocks, with some rutile and petrified wood here and there. I embarked on top of two terrifying biomes. Elf blood rains all over the place, undead monsters roam in the skies, and I just found out that this could happen :

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In the meantime I also started exploiting a very small aquifer just under the fortress :

I plan to do a lot of !!SCIENCE!! there with biological weapons. I'll keep you guys updated and might make my own post eventually.
