Mastodon FTW.

I just realized the likelihood of me actually hearing Christmas music at any point over the next 8 weeks is practically nil.
Tell me your secrets.

I probably won't be downloading the new versions until adventure mode gets added back because I suck at fort mode.
Yeah I honestly prefer adv mode. It's like playing DND but your GM is on some pretty hard drugs.

I meant Classic as in the current one with the shitty UI. Would be weird for Toady to just cut out a huge part of the game out of the new content updates.

In any case it's not forever, right?

275
Well since all I ever play is adventure mode, I will buy it to inflate the charts but keep playing ASCII.

Not sure if the new version's ASCII release will support Adventure Mode, either. Sounds like the menus were the prohibitive thing there. Just a heads up.
Won't the "Classic" version keep getting updates?

Honestly I don't care for the new UI etc if there's no adv mode. Once that's ported over to the Steam version I will abandon ASCII but for now nah it will sit in my library with 0 hours played.

When used as a tool e.g to inpaint, as the first stage before Photoshopping, or to teach drawing techniques, the copyright should indeed go to the user. What I think should be in public domain is stuff you just generated as-is with a prompt. Decent prompts take far less than hours to make in my experience, especially if you just modify an existing one, and thus would IMO devalue artists too much.

Though this law will get harder and harder to enforce.

To Elon defenders, this is what happens with your free speech in place. Enjoy.

If I was in power I would pass a law saying that AI art is always public domain. Solves this whole issue.

My CPU can't run it, good thing you can refund gifts. Will probably get it again once I upgrade.

Very interesting that this version has options working (as the other version had them disabled unfortunately), that's nice, there's even an "enhance" function once you generated an image to have the AI trying to improve it.
Also, you can put this in the negative prompt to instantly improve quality. "lowres, text, error, cropped, worst quality, low quality, jpeg artifacts, ugly, duplicate, morbid, mutilated, out of frame, extra fingers, mutated hands, poorly drawn hands, poorly drawn face, mutation, deformed, blurry, dehydrated, bad anatomy, bad proportions, extra limbs, cloned face, disfigured, gross proportions, malformed limbs, missing arms, missing legs, extra arms, extra legs, fused fingers, too many fingers, long neck"

Yes, all of it. Put it in and leave it there. Severely reduces the likelihood of body horror.
