Can our Plague control attempt to discover the size and structure of this Plague vessel?

We're getting a bit abstract here though. So. [S1lent] has a good starting point Basil, consider their advice. Now, what does that mean concretely? Shall we break the war between the Children, destroying Empyre, Plague, or Seed so one might live? Shall we strive to unite them; if so how? Or break all these Children, letting none lay claim to humanity's mantle? Or ourselves become a synthesis of the Children, that we may be a proper heir of humanity as [Maximum Spin] says?

The abstract waters we're wading into aren't a waste; they are necessary to guide why Basil acts alongside how Basil does so, as [Superdorf] said. However, we have immediate matters to attend to as well.

This is why you don't give vague instructions to superweapons that are capable of reason. If we must choose a child of Homo sapiens to assume the mantle of humanity, it should be Homo fundamentum, not the Plague.

Well, giving homo fundamentum humanity's mantle has been tried. It was the Endless Emper[or|ess]'s great work, and its fruits are the Empyre. It has gone... not as violently as the Plague, but it has its flaws... The Empyre is stagnant and has been usurped. The Blighted Glass, though a detestable creature blinded by her ambitions, rage, and Plague nature, was right about that. Though she is leaving out some nuance, to deceive and enrage you.

We need to find out what our purpose here is, as this will let us know what our Plague Mother wants of us, and thus our next course of action whether for or against her. I would support asking about the remaining human population but I'm not sure we could hide our interest from her. The Blighted Glass can speak into our mind; can she also read from it? We are connected after all.

Use our memories to learn speech as [Superdorf] suggested. But do not transform our Mask, at least not suddenly, as face-changing unnerves humans. Stay far enough away that she doesn't feel more threatened.
