Not sure why the aggressive and accusatory tone of your post is necessary, but I guess if Toady and Threetoe took the time to create these threads for player feedback then they're obviously ignoring people as you say.

I'm quite impressed at how this comic has gotten so epic in its scope. To think it all started with an adorable kobold's humble dreams of stealing an artifact dagger. :P

Of course, I suppose that's the nature of writing most stories. You start small, and just keep building from there.

This can spell disaster for your fort if, say, a dwarf needs to spell something with a capital "D" or use an ampersand.

Indeed. Even months before the Steam announcement, Toady was already expressing frustration at the degree to which he was dragging this cycle out. Don't think Kitfox has much (if anything) to do with it.

Dance lines can also be initiated by players in adventure mode. Cue megaprojects of dance lines sprawling across entire continents and composed of dwarves, elves, humans, goblins, kobolds, and animal people alike.
