For what it was worth, Camira was confident in her ability to handle foes that tried to fight her within her own range. As far as arrows went, however, she didn't have as much practice, leading to two scoring glancing blows on her side. Nonfatal, but not at all pleasant either. Regardless, giving a silent nod to Lydia, Camira broke into a sprint, weaving around the bandit's side in order to strike at one of the archers.

Cami moves to A7 and attempts to double Archer A

Following closely behind Steven, Reeve quickly made her way to where the so called 'invaders' were, practically skidding to a stop once they arrived. She didn't pay much attention to the scene itself or what they were talking about, aside from taking note who looked like a classmate and who looked unfamiliar... Which, obviously, was the group of men facing down Joel. It didn't get much more obvious then that.

"Aha! So the rumors were true, a group of fiends in human clothing have infiltrated our beloved school, seeking to further their own nefarious plans," Reeve shouted as she straightened herself up, her two arms flying out from underneath her cloak, one holding onto her tome and the other pointing at the group of 'fiends',

"Unless you wish to face the grand might of the Angel of Flames, I would suggest making yourself scarce. Our academy has no need for those who seek to disrupt the peace."

Tsubasa, Osada

Giving Tsubasa a slight nod, Osada stayed in his spot, giving the demon slayer a few moments to prepare. He had gotten his warmup out of the way, so with any luck, the next few trades would be something to write home about. At the very least, by the end of this, he would have a good grasp on how this "Lightning Breath" style worked. Possibly.

Regardless, letting out another deep breath, Osada took a single step forward, shifting his stance so that his left arm was held out, a standard block by all accounts, while his right sword was held by his left hip, almost as if he was holding a sheathed blade. Once he was in position, he took another step forward, now aware of Tsubasa's 'range', inching closer as he gazed at Tsubasa's stance, as if trying to read what her next move would be.

Monika

Giving each of the members a nod once they were introduced, Monika placed a hand on her hip, turning to address the room again, "Well, it's a pleasure to be working alongside you all. We'll have time to all get properly acquainted later, once we-" she began, only to be cut off by Emmery's suddenly speaking, causing the Major's words to die in her throat as her attention was turned to the unseeing woman. Instinctively, Monika knew that Emmery was talking to her specifically, yet she couldn't quite grasp what she meant by calling her 'Fate' and whatever 'the Master' was supposed to be. The later probably was referring to Cay, but what did that Fate mean?

Then she remembered the list of oddities the General had shown her. The way things seemed to go her way for no explainable reason. Perhaps that was what Emmery was referring to?

"Well, with any luck, this war won't last that long. So, Captain-" Monika finally continued, ignoring her idealistic comment as she turned back to Cay, "Any intel on Neridus' forces?"

Kaya, Stephanie, Steven

"Aha! Here he is, one Steven-" Reeve began, loudly announcing her find for a few moments before Steven's stern expression was finally registered, causing the young noble to pause long enough for Kaya and Stephanie to arrive, followed shortly by Steven explaining why he was in such a hurry, earning him a slightly confused look from Reeve,

"... Wait, invaders? How is this the first time I've heard of such a thing?" she asked, giving only a moment for someone to answer before she shook her head,

"Ah well, I suppose it doesn't matter. They must have been quite cunning to slip under my notice. If there are those who wish to disrupt the lives of our fellow students here at the academy, then rest assured then I shall do whatever is in my power to assist in their premature departure."

Tsubasa, Osada

Instinctively, Osada nodded in response, recognizing the phrase Tsubasa threw at him as one of Musashi's, "Indeed, I can tell. 'You can only fight the way you practice.'" he threw back, rolling his shoulders as he spaced his feet out again, getting ready for another exchange, "Up for a bit more? I've still got plenty of time to kill."

Tsubasa, Osada

For most conventional fighters, Tsubasa's maneuver would've easily caught them flat footed, with a sloppy response all but guaranteed. For Osada, however, already seemed prepared for this outcome, stopping his backward motion before pushing back once again. But instead of meeting Tsubasa's attack, he chose instead to avoid it all together, leaping over Tsubasa as the Slayer dived into the ground, all while he landed back on his feet, ready for more.

... Yet, despite the opening that had been presented, Osada didn't rush to take advantage of it, instead giving Tsubasa time to recover from the attack, arms loose at his side, "Damn, it really feels like you weren't kidding about the ten years. You haven't changed your breathing pattern once this entire time."

264
Tsubasa, Osada

With his sword failing to meet any resistance, Osada refrained from thrusting forward, especially with the fact that Tsubasa had moved even further out of his range. Readjusting to his opponent's movements, Osada took another step forward, turning his body so that his right sword could be raised against Tsubasa's strike, a loud clang erupting as the two blades met, if only for a moment before Osada pushed Tsubasa's sword to the side, the swordsman using the chance to take a step back this time, swiping upwards with his left sword to cover his momentary retreat.

Monika

"Right, it certainly seems like we'll be called up at any given moment" Monika agreed with a short nod, "As you all know, I am Major Monika Sydow, and with me is First Lieutenant Kirari" she began, using her free hand to gesture to Kirari, breaking eye contact with the dark haired woman for a moment to glance at her partner before returning her gaze to them, waiting for their round of introductions. She needed to put faces to the names she knew, so this shared introduction was a benefit to the whole squad.

Tsubasa, Osada

As soon as Tsubasa made her move, Osada did as well, his eyes instinctively flicking to the drawing sword coming straight for his neck. She wasn't pulling her punches, that was for sure, and he appreciated that. An instant after he recognized the swing, Osada's natural instinct took over, the swordsman turning his body and leaning back, the blade aimed for his throat harmlessly passing above his face. What would've been an ample opening, however, was quickly covered up as Osada used the movement of his turn to spin back around, his left sword swinging at Tsubasa's midsection, his right sword pulled back in preparation for a thrust should Tsubasa block his attack.

Astarte

... Well, that was a slight bit more problematic. She didn't care much about being in someone's debt, she was fairly used to it by now, and the fact that Teya was part of the underworld didn't matter either. What was a problem was the fact that she was asking for information, while Astarte herself had no idea how large Teya's network was. It was hard to offer something when there was a chance the recipient already had it.

"Fine. Alexander Ritter. Soldier of Hell's Military, and one that I personally trained for five months, along with ten others, back when I was a captain. Fought in and survived the first engagement between Tyran and Katria, before being reassigned out of my personal unit" Astarte explained. Of anything she could say, the name of one of her troops was likely something Teya herself wouldn't know. After all, why care about a nobody destined to bleed for their country?

Tsubasa, Osada

Though he had no doubts, Osada was relieved to see that Tsubasa got his message, flashing the lady a small grin as he drew his own swords, shifting himself into his own proper stance. He wasn't concerned about winning a little duel like this, more so hoping that he could pick up a thing or two from this "Lightning Style". And thus, Osada let out a held breath, right before his casual expression hardened, the swordsman taking the first step, lifting his sword off of his shoulder as he advanced.

It was time to put on a better performance than his last duel.

Tsubasa, Osada

"... Ah. That makes my more sense. Regardless, it's good to know that your style is based off of Niten Ichi-Ryū. Gives us a bit more room to find common ground, no?" Osada asked, tilting his head as well as if to help further his point before quickly returning it to its normal position, "Still, not too familiar with these Breathing styles. I'd ask how it works, but I'm more of an on hands learner myself."

270
Tsubasa, Osada

"Founder of a style and a member of a Demon Slaying group? That's a pretty high bar. But name's Osada Tsuneo, a..." Osada began trailing off for a moment as he thought about something, "Hrm... Can't say I founded the Niten Ichi-ryū style, but I am an advanced practitioner of it" he commented before ultimately shrugging yet again, "Eh, not that it matters much. Onto more important things though, Lightning Breath? I'm sincerely hoping that actually incorporates, ya know, breathing lightning into your fighting style."
