Kaya, Stephanie

In yet another miraculous turn of fate, Reeve managed to lead the trio, including herself, to the library, quietly opening the doors as dramatically as she could as she stepped into the large hall of knowledge,

"And here we are, the grand library of Solrise. Our elusive noble should be somewhere here" Reeve commented as she strolled in, not taking any care for the volume of her voice as she immediately began searching the grounds for Steven. He was pretty easy to spot, so it shouldn't have been too hard to find him.

Monika

Instinctively, Monika let out a sigh of relief as the General composed herself. Things might've ended a bit more messy than she would've liked, and it was nice to see that things, in fact, didn't. Of course, her relief was quickly soured when Kirari turned to her and brought up the paperwork that they needed to do, causing the Major to groan slightly and rub the back of her neck. She didn't mind paperwork most of the time, but she had already gotten through a stack of them when she got back, and now she'd have to go through another, "Yeah yeah, I suppose we do. Send the transfer paperwork to my office as soon as you can General, I'll make sure it's done first so we can get that whole stuff sorted out" she stated, her tone barely hiding the fact that she wasn't excited to get through this part of procedure. But, it was procedure, and it was one of the things Monika couldn't actually ignore.

Astarte

It had taken several hours, but Astarte's patience won through as the Lady waited for Teya's arrival. She had a feeling that her comment would've spurred them to act, and it was pleasing to know that it did. It had even let her prepare the meeting ground ahead of time, thanks to the new captain of the guard, and now Astarte had her own backup, just out of sight and ready to strike as soon as she gave the word.

... But it was a last resort. Astarte could be civil, even if Teya didn't deserve that sort of treatment.

"Fine by me. Name your conditions" Astarte replied from her position, deigning to keep things as straightforward as possible. She knew she wasn't the best negotiator, but at the end of it all, she was willing to do whatever was needed to get the information she wanted. If it turned out she didn't need to force it out and instead make a deal? Then that was what she had to do.

Tsubasa, Osada

Instinctively, Osada let out a whistle once the girl told him, or at least gave an estimate, on how long she had been training, "Ten huh? That's pretty impressive for someone who looks as young as you. And as for why-" pausing for a short moment, Osada gave a little shrug, "Just a curiosity, and it's a conversation starter that I picked up from my own travels. Had to figure out some way to break the ice when meeting a fellow sword master."

Tsubasa, Osada

It had taken quite some time, that was for sure, but Osada had finally found something big to be a part of after years of wandering. The whole Trespasser situation sounded like something he could get behind, seeing as it kept with his fixation on seeing both new lands and new styles. His introduction to the Castle was the icing on the cake, the swordsman being visibly awed by the size and nature of the building. And naturally, when entering such a place for the first time, the only natural thing Osada could do was explore the place to get a lay of the land.

... Although, he didn't expect to find something to divert his attention early into his exploration, but as he stepped into what appeared to be a Throne Room, his eyes were immediately drawn to a figure going through various drills, the technique and discipline shown being the main thing to draw him in. For a few moments, he simply watched, remaining silent as the girl ahead of him continued their drills, but eventually he spoke up, hoping to get a conversation started with a fellow swordsman (or woman, in this case) like him, "I'm not familiar with that sort of style you're practicing, but I can tell from your stances that you know what you're doing. How long have you been practicing?"

"Tch, wonderful. Get the the boss and noble out of here, we'll handle these bandits" Cami stated as she drew her blade, immediately focusing on the closest bandit to her and advancing towards them. The forest would give her some maneuverability, but she had to avoid getting swarmed. This wasn't a sparring match.

No, this was a proper fight. One where death was a guarantee if she slipped up.

Astarte

Once Teya's knife drew blood, the only two reactions Astarte gave were a slight narrow of her eyes and a flex of her remaining hand, frost beginning to form on said hand as she instinctively activated her Holy Weapon. For a moment, the Lady of Hell was about to make good on her threat, properly forcing the information she wanted out of them. But as quickly as her rage grew, it dissipated as she took stock of her surroundings, mainly at the other patrons. In all likelyhood, some might jump to Teya's defense if a fight were to break out between the two. Astarte was in unfamiliar territory, and it would've been easy for Teya to have planted allies within the crowds. She could defeat Teya easily, without a doubt, but only in a 1-on-1 fight. Any backup would easily tip the balance.

Clearly, she wasn't going to get her information here. So the only way she was going to was to get Teya elsewhere for a proper talk.

"Fine then" Astarte started, letting out a heavy sigh before walking forward herself, making sure she kept up her pace to push past Teya despite their head start, "I'll just have to find someone with a bit more spine" she added as she passed, stepping out of the bar and immediately turning towards one of the side paths as she put the bar behind her. She'd stick around the area for some time at least, see if she couldn't find Teya again in a more secluded area, but as she did so, she'd have to make a call.

She still had her command over the guard, and if there was a possibility of her being jumped by Teya and a few other lackies, then Astarte would not be caught unaware.

Mordecai

For a moment, Reeve opened her mouth to continue her apology... Only to close it when the words she wanted to say came to her mind. If he was fine with it, then she had no reason to keep going. Though she had seen the suffering of many during her early years of travel, it was difficult for Reeve to properly relate to such a tragedy.

Thankfully, she didn't have to stay on that line of thought for long as the two made it to their second destination, the butcher shop, naturally taking a quick step to the side,

"Thank you for the offer. I'll stay out here for now, it's more of the smell that bothers me."

278
Freya, Lyra, Tim

"I'm doing fine, thanks. And she's from another group, I don't think she's planning on joining up with ours" Freya replied as the two approached Tim, falling silent as the spoke about what Tim was 'selling'. It was rather odd, seeing him already striking up a business, but she didn't comment on it. In fact, it was only when Lyra drew attention to her bracelet that Freya perked up leaning over to get a better look at it, "Oooh, that looks cool. What does it do?"

279
Mira, Utzi

"No. Just don't go screaming about your objective, and keep your focus on the goal. Our visits are temporary, best to wrap things up as soon as possible" Mira replied, turning away from Utzi and, without another word, marching off to continue her patrol. The conversation was practically over anyway, and Mira had been delayed enough. She had other places to inspect.

Naturally, something would've interrupted the pleasant talk Cami had found herself in. Unnaturally, that interruption came in the form of thunder, causing the Borderlander to glance up and see the dark clouds rolling in,

"A storm already?" she wondered aloud, ignoring the first sprinkles of rain that began to fall upon the camp. Instinctively, Camira narrowed her eyes... Not to protect them from the rain, but out of suspicion. Storms didn't tend to roll in that quickly,

"Hey, Sedai" Cami called out, turning back to Lydia, "I don't know a lot about the... What do you folk call it... Magic? Or was it the Power? Whatever it's called, your bound to be more familiar with it. Is it possible for someone like you to whip up a storm like this?"

281
Mordecai

"Don't worry about my family woes Mordecai. I'm certain that they will change their tune once I achieve something grand" Reeve said, bouncing back to he normal demeanor before Mordecai explained the incident,

"... I am sorry to hear about your father, however. He must have been a brave soul to do such a thing. I..." for a few moments, the noble mage paused, trying to find the right words, before ultimately shaking her head, "My apologies, I shouldn't have asked you about that, especially in public."

282
Mira, Utzi

At Utzi's confusion, Mira simply shrugged, "Beats me. Some are idiots who think that working with them will be beneficial, and some just want to destroy their worlds anyway. The Trespassers just give them an outlet to do so. I don't try to understand them, it's just a waste of my time. Far faster to eliminate them and be done with it than to try and comprehend their stupidity."

283
Monika

Naturally, Monika didn't budge from her position as the General took a step back, returning her gaze to Kirari as the latter explained herself. It was only when she brought up her superior officers that Monika moved, turning her head to look back at Mina, "Well General Mina, the decision ultimately comes down to you, considering you're a higher rank than I am. But as Kirari's current superior officer, I'm still willing to give her a shot. You already knew Aia was connected to Kirari, so this doesn't exactly change your plans, does it?" Monika questioned, hands finding themselves in her pant pockets as she looked back at Kirari, a slight smile present on her calm, business-like expression, "Besides, she's clearly telling the truth about wanting to change. If she wasn't, then I probably wouldn't be here. She had plenty of chances to off me while we were in Neridus."

284
Freya, Lyra, Tim

With Lyra's confirmation that she was okay with Freya's 'profession', the young Necromancer let out a sigh of relief, visibly deflating, "Phew. That's good to hear, and don't worry. I know a few people who also live like that. It's just how we find out worth. A lot of people I know just don't have a high opinion on Necromancy and such" she explained, before also shaking herself out of the bad topic they had found themselves in, "Sure thing though. I could use a bite of something myself. Come on, I'll introduce you to him."

And so, with a slight spring in her step, Freya led Lyra over to Tim's 'stand', "Hey Tim. How's everything going?"

285
Mira, Utzi

For another few moments, Mira fell silent as she thought about Utzi's new question, eyes flicking away and narrowing in contemplation, "... Truth be told, I don't actually have a way to properly explain that. It's more of a ethereal sense of unease that moves its way to your core, no matter how prepared you are for it. Of course it helps when people trying to work with them outright let you know that you're dealing with a Trespasser."
