Granted but this special gun cannot stake vampires at point blank range and not in cover. On the plus side, Dracula is now sated tonight.

I wish that these haters don't corrupt my wishes.

(I understand, Paris. Take you time)

"The suit of armor seems to be in pristine condition," Napoleon muttered to himself. "However, I do not want to weight myself down in metal unless absolutely necessary, not to mention that using a spear and a shield will be cumbersome without additional training. The gentleman's suit look disheveled and bloody as if someone took it off a murdered man but didn't bothered cleaning it before putting it on a mannequin. Lastly, the strange costume is too flamboyant for even my taste. Hmm..."

Standing up, Napoleon guided the dolls back to him as he eyed the queenly warrior standing before him, particularly at the scabbard. Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he continued. "However, though I'm no transvestite, that sword would look great on my side regardless. Mon Dieu, I'll become a real prince yet!"

Use a doll to check for any hidden alarms. If any are found, deactivate them somehow. Either way, modify another doll into having razor sharp claws and use it to cut a circle in the glass big enough to crawl through. Use the remaining dolls to defend against any unforeseen attacks while grabbing the scabbard.

"It seems that I'm in the same predicament as well, " Nagisa said as she helped Makiko block the door and all of the windows in the house except the bathroom window with the furniture. "Strangely though, I seem to know a bit of Italian and whatever language we are currently speaking."

When Makiko mentioned something about 'Yokai', Nagisa wrinkled an eyebrow. "I don't know what you meant by yokai but it must be something that's truly beyond any of our ancestors' capabilities. Perhaps it has to do with some sort of machine? Maybe it could be the reason why Previous-Nagisa died as well?"

Though the house was secured, Nagisa felt that a bit more would need to be done to keep them safe so she decided to:

Use a chair to prevent the back door from opening. After that, smash another chair to bits and use the pieces, some nails, and a bit of the rope to construct a makeshift crossbow. Some small rods from the chair can be sharpened to make ammo for the crossbow.

C2's a great GM, he only kills us a few times every century, and the game is fun.
Fixed that for you.

For new people, one turn is a decade, with an action a year. Feel free to add as much or as little fluff as you want.

And kids, don't draw too much attention to yourself, otherwise you'll end up like a certain Ac-Sindari...

((Okay, sounds good to me. Final question. Do you want to go to the mission IN SPACE! we are currently starting? Note that it is hard and has a chance of permadeath.))

You wake up. You are sitting on something hard. You open your eyes to see the floor made out of black marble blocks. They have grey and red impurities, forming lines on it. Raising your head, you notice there's a
display case in front of you containing a mannequin in a lavish dress, full of red, purple and gold, fit for a queen. A queen that wants to project the image of a warrior, you add to your previous thought as you notice the short golden scabbard hanging from her hip. You notice there are other display cases in this room. Behind the display case you notice a window, but it's dark outside, you can barely see what's out there. Even in here the lighting is low. The lamps overhead are all extinguished and only some of the display cases have lamps burning besides them. The lamps create moving humanoid shadows in the walls, making you feel as if you're being watched by things in the dark corners of the room. The marble bench you're sitting on is cold, making your hair stand on end.

Nah, maybe I'll join the next mission. Right now, I want to be what to make of my current situation. Anyway, am I supposed to have stats or something?

Napoleon looked dreamily at the mannequin, imagining it to be one of the most beautiful life-sized dolls he'd ever seen. Its almost regal design seemed to combine elegance and a martial style in one costume, much like his own. Eyeing the golden scabbard, Napoleon imagined it as his side. However, he had the nagging feeling that he was being watched and didn't want to open the case without setting anyone or anything on him. Needless to say, Napoleon knew what to do:

Summon several three-inch dolls to scout out the entire room. Using the hive mind that connects him with the dolls, Napoleon can peer through their eyes to determine whether his suspicions are correct and to see what were in the other display cases.

Turning to the girl, Nagisa gave her a small smile. "I am Nagisa... or at least that's the name of the person I now control. I know, this all seemed weird to me. These devices are indeed wonderful. In fact, I'm willing to bet that everyone have one..."

Suddenly, Nagisa remembered the pot on the stove that one of the hit men filled. It looked as it was going to explode. As quickly as she can, Nagisa went over to the stove and turned it off. Grabbing a pair of oven mitts, she carefully picked up the pot and set it in the sink. Taking off the mitts, Nagisa yawned as she returned to the girl.

"Those criminals must be trying to cover their tracks if they're going to great lengths to make my death look like an accident. However, through I'd like to think that they won't come back, I'm quite sure that I have only a few hours to rest before I get out of here. You may stay here with me or leave. The choice is yours, hmm... what is your name?"

If Makiko decides to stay, lock and barricade the door and lock and block the windows, clean up the spill and chemicals in the other room and sleep on the floor. If Makiko decides to leave, do all of the above once she does so. Don't forget to set the alarm to 6 am in either case.

Sounds fun. I like both the ability and the character behind it. Just a couple of question so I can finish the character generation and make the appropriate rolls. Are dolls permanent and completely under your control once summoned or do they require constant effort? I mean, if you overextend yourself or become unconscious they will disappear or become inanimate or start acting on their own? And when you say shape them after creating them, you mean changing them to any other doll-like configuration you want? Does that mean they can be destroyed/desummoned at will or are they permanent unless someone else destroys them?

1. Controlling the dolls do require constant effort, meaning that if Napoleon is taken out or overexerts himself, they will crumble to dust.

2. Concerning the ability to morph the dolls according to what situation is at hand, perhaps I should've said 'mutate' instead. For example, if something needs to be taken from a shelf that he cannot reach. Napoleon would either cause a doll to morph its fingers into claws to scale the walls or to grow wings to fly up to it. Once the doll reaches the object and push it off the shelf, a few more dolls would be waiting at the bottom, already mutating to become softer in order to catch the object without breaking it. However, they are unable to be mutated to gain new powers.

3. They can be desummoned at will.

Granted but now you cannot wish for anything for the next three days because he wished the same thing for you.

Granted, at the cost of other snacks not being considered as foods. People get sick of sandwiches and decide to boycott them.

I wish to move out of my mother's basement.

Name: Napoleon "Doll Prince" Lambeau

Ability: Napoleon has the ability to summon and control animated dolls to aid him in combat. Each doll can be consciously shaped according to whatever task is needed to be done and are connected to Napoleon by a hive mind, allowing him to see through each doll's eyes, speak through them, and remotely control and shape them among other things. Though Napoleon can create as many as he want and they can be grown into any size ranging from 3 inches to 4 feet, he would get burned out more quickly if many of his dolls are big or if they are too numerous.

Appearance: A ~200 year old Caucasian male dressed in dollish 18th century red and gold noble attire, complete with black shoe,  white sockings, knee high baggy pantaloons, and long-sleeved long coat. Wearing a crown, his skin has a strange sheen that looks almost as if it was made of painted porcelain. His curly blonde hair seems to do little to distract people away from his rarely blinking green eyes. He appears younger than he really is, looking to be 24 years of age.

Quote: "After all, I am the Doll Prince and I...."

Personality: A young French-American man with a superiority complex, Napoleon tends to look down on others whether they are his allies or enemies. Even if he doesn't wisecrack his opinions, Napoleon is almost always certain to nitpick their supposed inadequacies. Napoleon is also calculating and observant, looking for ways to turn any situation to his advantage on and off the battlefield. He is also secretly playful, using his dolls to perform tricks and to prank others. However, his superiority complex unsurprisingly hides the fact that he feels inadequate at times himself. Also, one must take care not to poke too much fun at the absurdity of his ability or worse compare him to his deceased father or insult his mother.

Biography:

Born in the early 19th century and the youngest child in a family of six, Napoleon have always wanted to stand out instead of living in the shadow of his three sisters. However, being anything but the proverbial invisible child is harder that it seems and Napoleon often found himself being out-competed by them. This wasn't helped by his father, who seemed to be very big on achievements and felt that Napoleon was a disappointment. As a result, this became what drove a wedge between Napoleon and his father during his adolescence.

After a particularly fierce argument, Napoleon decided to move into his own place. In addition to his belongings, Napoleon also took with him a porcelain doll that his mother gave to him on his birthday. It was dressed in red and gold finery that wouldn't look out of place on a dollish nobleman. On its head sat a beautiful crown. Napoleon cherished this gift very much because not only did he loved dolls but he knew that his mother was the only one who loved him for who he is. During his youth, he'd often pretended that he was a prince, just like that doll, who ruled a mighty estate. He imagined armies marching and fighting at his command and dozens of servants attending to his every need. He imagined that he was the greatest of men who will be looked up to by peoples of every nation. Needlessly to say, what happened later was nothing short of irony.

Setting the doll on a table, Napoleon noticed a glyph etched onto the crown that he didn't notice before. Curious, he detached the crown from the doll's head and placed it upon his own. Immediately, the doll exploded into a cloud of dust that filled the room. Before Napoleon could process what happened, he suddenly underwent a transformation. As Napoleon struggled against the transformation, the crown formed some sort of link with him in which it would reappear on his head if he tried to get rid of it or set it down. His skin begin to obtain a peculiar sheen and composition that would characterize his appearance centuries later, his eyes became almost as unblinking as those of a doll, and his clothes morphed into those resembling those of the doll prince, something that would keep happening no matter what he tried to put on. Finally, a psyche formed in his brain, a collection of tiny minds connected with his own like the appendages of a single organism and the will to give them any form and substance he chooses. By the time the dust finally settled, Napoleon emerged a changed man, a man destined for greater things or so he'd like to believe. Regardless, the Doll Prince has arrived.
