I wish there was a game like witcher and monsterhunter on a world wide scale (an entire planet basically), but it also functions like runescape (players having jobs like cooks, potion brewers, farmers, etc.).
I just kinda want an mmo were there are no npcs, just players

Just three sessions of talking to npcs, buying things, and hiring people)"_______ fucking around" describes almost every game though. Players fuck around.Definitely depends on players and the gm, the games I've played are basically vampires fucking around in detroitSeems like anything other than emo results in tremere.
Probably not one of the best polls/quizzes that we've done in here.
Vampire the Masquerade is pretty emo.

That was a fucking slam dunk kid, you roasted that asshole with one question, especially with the Senator almost doing an Ace Attorney style flinch reaction before giving a wishy-washy answer that I'm sure satisfied noone. That's the most satisfaction I've gotten out of anything political in quite a long time.Got a link? Would love to see this

« on: February 23, 2018, 12:35:28 pm »Did you go to daycare though? Remember, most actual legal cases were about satanic daycare centers, not D&D or metal.
The sad thing is that people were still in prison based on bullshit satanic daycare-related charges from decades ago until very recently, and there are others still in prison on similar satanism-related charges. It's funny, I guess, but in a "how fucked is society?" sort of way. Even if the crime you've been convicted for is physically impossible or ludicrously improbable, it's very hard to get a retrial.Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I did go to daycare (I live middle of nowhere Illinois so what I went to was the closest thing to a daycare that was available), about the D&D and metal thing I was thinking more along the lines of the propaganda that made about them (the big metal is satanic and stuff like dark dungeon)

this was really dumb, but it made me laugh. I was talking with my friend and she told me I was the physical form of the satanic panic in the 80's, I play d&d, I listen to a lot of metal, I play heretic too much (she said doom, but heretic is better than doom), and I'm actualy a satanist.

DF Suggestions / Re: golems
« on: February 22, 2018, 10:10:23 am »Or at the very least make moddable reactions that can create creatures.if I remember correctly there are reactions that can make creatures (I think the gnome mod had one), but modding is NOT my specialty so take that with a grain of salt.

DF Suggestions / Re: golems
« on: February 22, 2018, 09:18:26 am »I think golems should have their own workshop to be created in, and it would use some new skill.as I and kittytac have stated:
Only in some worlds. Remember, no single magic system.the workshops for the golems would just be standard workshops (and later work zones)
wooden golem bodies are made in the carpenter's workshop
stone in mason's
metal in forges
gem/bone/shell/ivory/cloth in craftdwarf's
clay in kilms
glass in glassmaker's forge

DF Suggestions / golems

with magic coming into DF (eventually) I think it would be interesting to get golems in the game officially (of course due to magic being procedurally generated some worlds will have them others will not)
some ideas:
-may be made out of any material
-able to do any labor other than medical and noble positions (jobs available depend on golem)
-does not need to eat/drink, but does need to be magically recharged every few weeks
-may give positive feelings to a dwarf that likes golems.
-may give negative feelings to a dwarf the detests golems.
-a golem can be made to resemble any animal (larger sizes require more materials) (will also give positive/negative feelings to dwarves depending on the animal)
-can become pets (animal golems only)

« on: February 16, 2018, 12:18:37 pm »It's a Gwent ad, looks like, and thus most likely perfectly on the level.
I forgot that gwent existed. IMO gwent was kinda a waste of time it's like "Hey there are some huge monsters that you can kill and some amazing side quests, and we have a huge world with tons of lore... also there is this card game you can play" I just don't get the appeal of gwent (inside and outside of the witcher games)
