go to DFFD and download the latest windows release with Guybrush's set already installed.
Once that's download, paste in the latest Mac Executable file in the same directory.
There you go, configured and ready to go
EDIT: err, i have no idea how this became its own thread, it was in reference to an earlier one requesting mac help with adding tilesets.

)So, I have an.. issue, I'd like to thaw out the river, at least in part, and I'm not sure how to do it,
I thought about pouring lava from the vent over the cliff. (Did i mention the river is 11 Z levels below my fortress, which is on a mountain peak of sorts. It's a sheer cliff down. The magma vent is about.. 20 squares from where the wagon started. so it's nicely located.
Any ideas?
)Anyone figure out how to press F9, without having to be in Single Window mode?
. What to do?
Also, if I put Plump Helmets in the still, will they generate a seed still?
On most Macs, F9 is a volume or expose key, so it wont work properly without modifying the setup of the computer.
I have a PPC and Intel mac, if testing is required.
(I currently play DF through a VM, so a port is most exiting
)
What I'm proposing is fairly simple, and would only require a minor modification.
Seperate the "font" (Basic ascii characters) into one BMP file.
everything else, tileset wise, should go into it's current format under raw.
HOWEVER, it would need to be updated so additional wall/furniture/item graphic tiles could be added along with animal/dwarf/human/elf/monster/things-that-move that are currently there.
This would allow a much easier toggle between Graphics and ASCII. It would also allow, those who wish it, a full tileset, without effecting the readability of text. The current method shows problems once you begin changing items from ASCII characters into letters, you notice it the most in Dwarven text such as name of dwarves and places.
