Since wiki seems at a loss-

I was wondering on playing with civ dynamics for wars and such - already got fire sphere worshipper civs to always declare war on river sphere worshiping elves and humans with 100% accuracy(cross sphere religious wars - good article http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/Sphere there and mod them in), but I would like to know the order of intensity of ethics tags to play civs off each other more than eating sapient beings and animal/plant mistreating.

I'm guessing in order of acceptability

There's no shopkeeper or anyone in town. The town was destroyed a few hundred years before gameplay started by goblins. The other buildings were ruins except for this one food store with fresh food.

Ouch. That's all I have to say.

I had an ambush, and then a siege. Both times most of my dwarves hunting and cutting wood and hanging about outside the base were slaughtered. Then the Royal Guard and some haulers ran out and were turned into wood arrow pincushions.

I raised the drawbridge but some elves were inside my castle walls, most of them fell to traps and my marksdwarves before being mopped up by hammerdwarves.

The siege I thought was a bug because the siege was announced but there was no one on the map until I checked the units list. Sneaky little buggers.

So apparently if your starting dwarf civ was at war with the elves when you embarked, have fun.

Uhhh, I ran into these two humans on the old version last night... they were quite... special. After some strange logic games aiming at trying to identify the cause of the problem, it seems that several generations before play started someone started an incestuous relationship with their cousins/nieces?

But the download link at sendspace is shot and the two hex editor links for 33g http://dwarf.lendemaindeveille.com/index.php/Talk:Utilities#Lavasquare  http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/User:Rick#v0.27.169.33g
each yield different values for upgrading to 33g. They each say "untested" but the first one is based on Rick's who changed his due to it not working earlier.

DF Bug Reports / [38a] crash on world gen

Error log says: Impoverished Word Selector

Based on the thread where they changed civilization site likes/dislikes to get them to massacre each other, I changed goblins to like city, tree city, and dwarven halls, and upped the amount of total goblins allowed. I then get this crash and DF closes. Happens during site finalization after the Golden Age.

DF Suggestions / Few suggestions and things :]

First off, a great big thanks to the Tarns for the awesome game - great in it's alpha and will be absolutely incredible later.

These are a few minor things I think would be nice to see soonish (after the army arc and various bug fixes of course  :D)

-No interrupts from enemies many z-levels away/through stone that have no chance of attacking my dwarves/my dwarves shouldn't even be able to see.

-Ability to choose what sort of stone to use when crafting/mason like in metal forges/smelters. Current method of gathering all stone into various stockpiles or forbidding some at a time is a little bothersome.

-Ability to place multiple walls/floors at once

-ability to designate which items to adorn/decorate with bone/metal/whatever (make creation of psuedo-legendary masterful items easier) Current method is random/luck to adorn the right item unless you forbid everything else.

-Have ability to get dwarves to sleep/eat/drink before an important engagement so that they don't sleep on/leave the field of battle

-designate sections of hallways/high traffic areas as one-way only so dwarves don't slow down from smacking each other.

-Legendary champion dwarves have long names on the "u" screen which cover their current task.

-More distinction between jails and zoos; my dwarves love to hang out and party next to dangerous criminals.

-Perhaps have catapults work on multiple z-levels/do something other than clear forts of stone.

-psychologist/comedian dwarf (comedian skill?) that can walk around cheering up dwarves

Just my two cents - feel free to ignore and whatnot, because I'm sure some have been suggested before or some changes are coming soon. Thanks Toady - the dev log looks sweet and I've had more fun on this game than many other 'professional ones'.
