Right now I use Announcement Window: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=153777.0 as do most of the other DF Streamers on twitch. http://www.twitch.tv/kaelgotrice

Pros:
Two configurable, resizeable windows outside DF that can be configured to be displayed to viewers or run as we play
Font type, size, colors editable
Custom filters oh both windows, choose which announcement types go where
windows can be locked in place on top
AUTO-SCROLLS DOWNWARD: JESUS THIS IS 100% WHAT WE NEED

Cons:
Not updated for many new announcement spam types
Custom filter format is a nightmare
Stuck with 1 or 2 windows, cannot be separated.
Death witnessing currently non-existent, only displays body found

If it had updated, easy to change(add when Toady adds new announcement) more user friendly custom filters, then I'm sure a lot of us would swap from Announcement Window.

EDIT: Yeah, an option to just CLICK an announcement and tell it to filter out that type would be amazing.

Been using this on my stream http://www.twitch.tv/kaelgotrice So just wanted to say thanks. Now most of the DF streamers on Twitch are using it as well. It's great, especially since it auto-scrolls unlike most others. Thank Armok.

However a lot of cancellation filters are still missing, and deaths will not show up at all until notification of body is found which is bad - even deaths which are witnessed are not reported. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Few hijinks from yesterday's stream:


Spam. Dwarven Dead Poets Society.
40 human tavern-goers saved the fort from werecreature ruin by dogpiling the infected dwarves. RIP in pieces. Always have the tavern near the entrance/main hall.
In another fort's timeline, were-possums and giant kea zombies in a haunted biome made dwarves into deadmeat, which came back to life to create more zombie dwarves. That fort wiped within 2 seasons. The AI doesn't know how to deal with the dead rising.
The dwarves beat on an unconscious giant raven for 5 seasons straight.

I have my Aurora folder in E:\Aurora and yet it dumped Aurora logs into E:\Logs.

Yeah, killzone is dumb good. Couple that with the last skill = kill everyone during your turn + kill everyone during their turn.

Stream died due to DF memory leak from being up about 20 hours straight. I rebooted DF and streaming once again.
